They show you and tell you a price and at the end double charge you for EVERYTHING after it is installed!!!!!! 2 Gas Springs that were marked $24.99 each the owner charged me $79.99 at the end and 2 T Locks that were marked $15 the owner charged me $79.99 for. Look at the price in Amazon. $158 and hour for labor, it took them 1,5 hours and he charged me 2 hours. His employees took of another camper a used 3 break light, the owner charged me $139,. I felt super intimated by the owner, and when I questioned the price he gave me a long story. He truly does not respect woman!!! Ended up paying $900 5 items and labor. Will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau!! He thinks woman don't know anything! I felt violated and robbed. read more

I'm a solo female pulling a camper and just before heading into the keys I discovered a problem with one of the wheels on my camper. evidently the manufacturer forgot to put the axel grease/dust cap on and when I took the decorative hubcap off to check the tire pressure there was grease all over the place. I checked around and someone referred me to Camp Out as a place that could do the repair quickly, honestly and wouldn't try to rip me off. I called and they told me to bring it right over. Leo took a look at the problem. grabbed the part and a rubber mallet and in two shakes had it fixed and told me to have a nice day. no charge. I was floored! Absolutely amazing customer service. Leo was more than helpful and had plenty of suggestions. Great personality and we were very glad we found them. We had an overloaded trailer blow out a tire and they had the tire! I cannot say enough good things about them. They put a new tire on a rim and we bought an extra tire as well with a rim. It was amazing how quickly they took care of us. That was a great relief as this drama have been going on for over 24 hours previously. I don't know how to best describe the heartening, sincere, genuinely caring treatment I received as a customer at Camp Out. This is a business with heart. I came to need their help in dealing with paperwork on a trailer my brother had bought from them 24 years ago. They offered to look it over and would help direct my next steps. In the beehive of activity swirling in the building (made sweet by the presence of well-cared for shop kitties) Greg - and anyone with whom I came into contact - took time with me to simply...help. It was an ancient transaction and Greg kindly helped me make sense of it all. And, significant to me, before Greg even sat to peruse the paperwork, he paused a moment to offer his condolences. I'd only mentioned my brother's passing in explaining why the papers were now in my hands. But his honest, touching expression cut through the task at hand and colored the remainder of my interaction with him and his staff. Days later, I would have the unexpected blessing of meeting Leo and Duke. Both kind and professional - and checking every other box you'd want checked as an indicator of a professional - these gentlemen clearly knew their stuff. Not only efficient and expert in their work, they were - friendly! imagine! But, like Greg before them, the thing that "made" this whole sad task of tying up the loose ends of my brother's life less painful were Leo's words to me as we parted. I see that Leo has previously been described as having compassion. He does. His sharing and consoling words to me on the loss of my brother made that moment...OK. We were finally able to take our dream vacation and our camper broke down on a long holiday weekend not knowing what to do . We called these folks at Camp Out and explained to them what was going on and they told us to have our camper towed over and they would be able to assist. We got there late and they were there waiting for us like they said they would be ! They allowed us to walk our dogs and they gave them fresh water and found out they are animal lovers like us. They were able to help us repair the camper that night and we were on our way to continue or dream vacation! These folks went above and beyond for us and our pets and they didn't over charge us! I purchased a brand new boat trailer from Camp-Out Inc. and was given a date of pickup because they had to order it. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 delays, they did not get the trailer delivered to them as promised. However, they gave us a loaner trailer to use in the meantime ( for 2 weeks!). The customer service has been awesome. Patty & Greg were more than helpful to answer all my questions and calls back and forth for the purchase/transaction. I live in the Florida Keys so this was a drive for us. They treated us very kindly and went above an beyond to help us out. For that alone, I would recommend them to anyone needing to purchase a trailer. Price was comparable to others (if not lower) than in the keys. Very Happy Customer! Let's start with the sale of the V-nosed cargo trailer. After a internet search for the trailer I wanted, I went to Campout in Homestead FL to see if they had a similar item. There on the lot was the exact same thing I saw on a lot in Central Florida. Thing is ... Campout was $1900.00 (not $19.00) higher than the dealer up state. We negotiated a fair price and I ended up getting it for $100.00 more than the other dealer. I wasn't driving a 200 mile round trip to save $100.00. (seems cash talks and B/S walks). So I gave them a fist-full of dead Benjamins and off I drove with my new trailer. The trailer was a tad flimsy but suited my needs perfectly. Not even a year and a half later, the super junky 14x14 plastic pop up roof vent disintegrated (from intense Florida UV rays) in my driveway. I asked if there was a warranty since it's not even two years old. The owner couldn't say "NO" enough. It was a never ending loop of no! He then recommended their top of the line galvanized roof vent cover for $40.00. At least this one won't rot like a flimsy milk carton. We'll see. read more

This is literally the worst business I have ever seen. I walked in to ask a question about a trailer I saw on the lot and the overwhelming smell of cat piss was so bad I couldn't stand to be in the building another second. I walked out dry heaving from the repugnant odor. Later I found the trailer I was interested list on Craigslist for over a thousand dollars more than the competition. read more

Camp-Out did a great job of repairing my utility trailer! Did it fast and very fair! They have tons of trailer and RV parts and know what they are doing. Yes there are a few cats there in cages and a warehouse full of trailer stuff but I went there to get a trailer repaired, not for scenery. They have a pretty big inventory of all kinds of utility trailers and RVs for sale too. The owners are nice people so at least go there and check it out before you try Craigslist or ebay where you may not get returns or store credit and have to hope what you are buying is not stolen. read more

Called in for pricing on a hub and bearings , was told that they were 49.00 to 59.00 dollars each , told them i was a local business for jet skis and that I was sending my employee to pick up both hubs. when my employee got there the parts had to be ordered and that they would each cost 130.00 , there a fkng joke , don't bring or buy nothing from them , you will get fucked , USE ROCKET TRAILERS at 2890 NW 35 street , they had my parts in stock and the price for both hubs were 100.00 . I needed two hub assembles for my trailer so I took my old one to the N. Plainfield store to match it to a new one. When I got home with the new hubs I then noticed that mine is a 4 lug and the ones that were sold to me were 5 lugs. When I called I was told that there is no refund just store credit. I pointed out to them that they sold me the incorrect part it made no difference. Look for a retailer that stands behind their product and stay far away from here. read more
