We couldn't be happier to have had Marissa for our engagement and wedding…read more I worked with Marissa a long time ago before she became a photographer and so I knew she was an incredible, well-rounded person. We both eventually moved towards our career professions and for her that was photography. Over time, I saw her amazing photography online and I couldn't wait to hire her for my own wedding. Luckily, my chance came and captured all of the special moments from the engagement to the wedding. Marissa traveled to Wichita, KS for both the engagement session and the wedding. She was completely onboard with this commitment and was never late or made us feel like she was tired from traveling. She met us super early in the morning so that we could capture the most beautiful sunrise photos for our engagement shoot. She was an absolute trooper and never complained about carrying the heavy equipment that early in the morning. She took the time to ensure that we got the most beautiful photos. At the wedding, Marissa was very professional and everyone loved to be around her. Not a shocker - she captured the most phenomenal photos! We have shared so many of them with friends and family, and we all can't believe some of the angles and perfect lighting that she was able to capture. She stayed throughout the night and walked us through our sparkler ending. It was awesome! Marissa - thank you for capturing the happiest year of our lives so far! We absolutely love our photos and we look at them every day. Your photos grace our phone, our walls, and the walls of our family. Thank you!

First off, I should have written this review almost a year and a half ago (Meaning this place is so…read morewonderful that I am writing this review almost a year and a half later at 6am...which should tell you something). Now that the cat's out of the bag, I would just like to say that TJ and the staff were absolutely wonderful!!! My (Now) wife and I could not have asked for a better venue nor staff. They worked with us in every aspect possible...even when they didn't have to. The venue is gorgeous, and I'm sure that anyone who tours this place will have quickly already deduced that information...so let me address some of the concerns I had (And how they were addressed). We wanted Jack Stack (the BBQ place down the street was even better. We were worried 2 hrs of alcoholic drinks wasn't going to be enough For our guests. The bar downstairs was so large and so well stocked people didn't have a problem getting what they needed. I was worried it was too far from downtown (and I mean really worried)...the drive was not a problem for my family (all from out of town)...moreover, they all said it was completely worth it and the venue was excellent. My wife was a little anxious at times...TJ and his staff took care of it. It truly was exactly the wedding I wanted and at times didn't even know how to plan. Bottom line: If you choose this place, you will get a top notch staff with a top tear aesthetic for a reasonable price. If you have only considered venues downtown and Ruled this venue out because of the distance (which is exactly what I did)...don't ...at the very least take a tour of the location. I'll bet you will fall in love with both the staff and the venue. ...Just my 2 cents

I was impressed with the fast, friendly service and the tasty adult beverages at this family-run…read morefood truck. I ran across this Gardner, KS based truck at a Rolling Meadows event in Olathe. Aaliyah handled the line of customers at a good pace. My summer spritzer ($10 including tax) was served soon after I ordered at the window. The drink was nicely sized and tasted great, with a lime wedge and a good kick. The menu included a good variety of drinks with name brand spirits. The prices weren't listed on the menu, but were reasonable for a truck, with cocktails at $10 and beers ranging from $3-6 (including tax}. They also offered mocktails, sodas and juices for the kiddos. The lady in front of me ordered an off-menu bloody Mary and they were ready for it. Very nice!
