Talk about holding something ransom, clean your room or no 4-H Camp; you better get good grades or no 4-H Camp; what, you want to talk back to your parents ... It works, for the most part. Both of my daughters have been attending the 4-H Camp for two years and we have been doing some extra curricular activities there for four years also. This is one of the best summer camps that I have ever seen or been a part of and I believe that my daughters would agree with me. If you want or need something all you have to do is ask and if they can accommodate you they will. Anthony, the camp director, ensures that safety and fun are the top priority once you arrive. It was her first time being away from home for more than a night, so we were both a little nervous. She said she was homesick for one night and by the next morning she was busy riding horses, trying new things and making new friends! By the last day, she didn't want to leave. She actually cried because she had made such amazing memories and wanted to stay longer. As a parent, it was so heartwarming to see her gain confidence and independence while being surrounded by such amazing staff and a positive environment. Falcon Camp truly gave her a summer she'll never forget, and she's already planning on going back this year for the full summer. Best overnight camp ever!

Great group camp!…read more This place is just like you picture a summer camp to be. Cabins spread out and lot of activities through the scenic acres. I stayed for a weekend with my daughters Girl Scout troop. We had a cabin with bunk beds. There was heat and electric but no bathrooms. The bathhouse was a short walk through the valley from where we stayed. Other cabins would have a further walk depending on where you are located on the property. The price included meals and activities. My got to try archery, shoot BB guns, climb a rock wall, canoe and horse back riding was available for an extra charge. The girls also had time to do arts and crafts. There is a dining all where meals are served. The food was what your would expect to feed a large group. Hamburgers, pasta , waffles. There was fruit and salad available at most meals and milk, coffee, and hot chocolate available. Although the hall did run out of food several times for our group. Eventually more was made but it created some stress for the group. The shower house is old. It did have hot water for showering but if the camp were full I don't see how everyone would get a chance to use. The cabins were clean and warm. The bunk beds were very uncomfortable for the adults to sleep in. They have fans and a few electric outlets. For the price though it was a great experience.

Our group was staying in the main house and we were in one of the upstairs rooms. It was about what I was expecting. Three bunk beds. The one negative is that it was HOT in there. It would have been great to have a fan, The food was delicious (noodles and ground beef, sausage/egg casserole and chili). A highlight for me was the hayride. Probably because we all had a chance to be together and it was a nice long ride The only reason I didn't give them five stars was because they couldn't accommodate larger riders. I totally understand that they are live animals and can't take excessive weight. But it was still disappointing that I wasn't able to join my daughter for the ride.
