They had a great selection of well maintained arcade games ranging from older classics and to newer designed games I wish I took photos of the arcade area it was a long hallway that just led to more and more games I thought that I saw all the games and then I walked some more and found another room with more games I was amazed to say the least. They had a large room with tons of mini golf courses that would be fun for anyone i didn't get to play due to not having enough time but will definitely be back to play them. I played the laser tag game with my brother and sister it was just us 3 for our first game and we had a blast the worker was kind and helpful and was a great host for our games we got to play free for all, team deathmatch, and gun game (those who play call of duty will know gun game) with unlimited lives we were about to walk away and go inside to play the arcade games but then a large group of family and friends all showed up and we decided to play with them in total we had about 20 people all playing at the same time the host even let us choose the different weapons that are available the younger kids wanted rocket launchers and Gatling guns. We had an absolute blast the guns are very accurate and you could shoot at a persons gun or their headband and you could shoot them with perfect accuracy from about 600ft away!! Definitely the best laser tag experience I have ever had and I always try them out at any given chance. They had a great laser tag area that reminds me of a paintball setup lots of barriers some cars and the vibe was post apocalyptic. If you like paintball, laser tag, shooting video games, or shooting in general this place is a must for you please I recommend anyone that just is looking to have a good day to come and enjoy the experience of this place. The owner was very kind and truly cares to create a fun experience for all of those that come. They had a food stand with a sitting area if you are hungry and a tv with movies playing the whole time lots of board games to play and they even have prizes to win from the arcade games just like a Dave and busters so you can save your tickets for something cool. Oh My God! These people have got to have one of the coolest jobs in the world…read more Imagine being perched in a tiny glider, swaying along in delicate aeronautical precision. Imagine doing this while you're dressed as a giant white bird. Imagine looking behind you and watching, in awe, as a group of majestic white cranes glide gracefully with you. Imagine that you are slowly but surely reintroducing and repopulating one of several endangered species, in the process. This pseudo migration system was performed with Canada Geese. The O.M. charity does it for Whooping and Sandhill cranes, too. These people work with the DNR in Illinois, Wisconsin, other resting states that have designated wet lands and marshes for these birds; and it's pretty unbelievable. My nephew did a giant school report on this group; they were also nice enough to help him with his project. Came out great! You know, it's one thing for us to hit our GPS and some voice lets us know we need to "adjust our route". I suppose you could say that Operation Migration is a pretty nifty personalized navigation system for these peeps on long legs.

We had an absolute blast staying here and can't wait to return sometime again in the summer. The…read morephoto was taken right by our campsite. So beautiful waking up to this in the morning. We saw SO much wildlife in the 30 hours we stayed there. Fish of all types, deer, wild turkey, toads, owls, eagles, and even a porcupine! The stars were beautfiul and the park in well maintained. Porta potties we're throughout the park and close to our sight, they were clean too. There's a little shop nearby with everything you would need from fresh bait/fishing supplies to grocery items like raw meat and butter. They also had snacks, sodas, beers and we saw a few to go orders of pizza leave too. Such a beautiful lake and amazing representation of Wisconsin wildlife. There's boat launches and kayaks launches in the park. It is also bear country so inform yourself on rules before staying!

We've gone camping at Buckhorn State park 2 times now at two different camp sites. We stayed at…read morelake side campsites both times, which are offer a lot of space, very private with complete tree coverage, and small private beach access to the lake. We drove in to the campsite, park, then have a 400 yard walk to each campsite. There is the option to boat into some of these shore line campsites as well. The only down side to camping here is the mosquitos are pretty crazy during the high mosquito season in the summer. They weren't bad in late August, but when we recently camped there in July, everyone had 20 mosquito bites. If you go during the mosquito season I highly recommend a screened in room to hang out and cook. We couldn't hang outside of the screen room longer than a few minutes before being attacked by a lot of mosquitos, no amount of bug spray helped that situation. Our group of friends that we camped at here plan to keep coming. It's about a 4 hour drive from Chicago, just about half an hour north of Wisconsin Dells

What a great park right off Hwy 13. You could easily pass this while driving on Hwy 13 though. Look…read morefor the sign and small parking lot. It's definitely worth the stop. There's lot of little routes to the top; some a little more adventurous than others; depending on your courage and activity level. The jutting rocks form a rabbit at the top. Some others have decided to decorate the rocks with other art too. There were lots of kids venturing around the formation peeking in to the cracks and hearing their voices echo in the caverns. There's lot of trees lining the rock trails to help you maneuver around. The weather was great for a hike to the top. Watch for leaves and pine needles, as these make the trails a little slick. This would be a great lookout place for sunsets and a picnic. There are tables at the parking lot area. I didn't see any bathrooms though. I don't think you need a park pass to use this park either. This was a perfect way to spend an hour! But the wayside is NOT open year round it's closed during the winter months. From the top of the rock you can see for mile including view of Roche-A-Cri Mound in the state park. It's about 60 feet high to the top.

We drove down 7th as far as we could and then hiked our way back in. We found the "cleared" area slightly south and walked over. The cleared area was hard to walk in and there are holes everywhere- unfortunately many in the mounds too , probably some from looting. We didn't stay very long because we soon noticed ticks ALL over our pants. It was the worst experience I've ever had with ticks and I work outside for a living. Therefore, I highly recommend if you visit do it in the winter or fall as this would be better for less foliage anyways. I really hope this becomes a state park one day where it could be cleared and interpretation provided because right now its not clear what you're looking at at all and I'm an archaeologists and it was still hard to tell their shapes. We only saw conical mounds but there are supposed to be effigies of animals somewhere in that area- probably in the dense forested area farther south near 8th street. Final takes- only visit in the fall/ winter and be prepared for uneven ground with thorns etc.

While we were here there was a group of first graders scooping bugs out of the water with nets. They were so excited! Leashed dogs are allowed, so we walked our pups on a couple of the trails and saw flocks of many birds enjoying the wetland. Teaming with life! We were just driving by on a camping trip and stopped. So so glad we did. This place is a gem and a destination you shouldn't miss!

We were pleasantly surprised by this relatively small state park. We were traveling through the…read morearea geocaching and stopped and had a very nice visit. The rock formation was very cool. We had no idea this existed. The views from the top on this beautiful sunny day were great and worth the 303 steps to the top. We hiked on a couple of the other trails to see some of the other rock outcrops. The trails were very nice. We drove through the campground and it appeared to have good sites. There are a few picnic areas but not a lot of other amenities. It appears that the main entrance to this park closes sometime in late October but there is a winter entrance for cross country skiing on the south side of the park. Worth a detour to check out.

We had high expectations for this state park. It had no amenities, but I guess that is what made it…read morequiet. We were practically alone in the white pine forest. Lots of bird song! (and sirens on the nearby highway) Checking in was confusing with conflicting information on the website and sign. We had paid for our campsite on-line, but it had said you also needed to purchase a park pass upon arrival. The building was closed when we arrived and while we were there I don't think it was ever open. We reserved one of the handful of electrical sites which was pretty level gravel. The fire pit had a mangled grill over part of it that wouldn't be usable for cooking. What made our site lovely is that there was no one on one side, the side of our camper door, and the other side had lots of room before our neighbor. There are lovely trails to explore and a hike up a zillion stairs will give you an overlook of the area. The creek also went through the park and was a perfect place to cool off the dogs. :)
