She gained true confidence in herself, her ability to accomplish the impossible, and her own self worth and who she is. She looked forward to every class. She came out sweaty, tired, and with a smile on her face. Because Master Wayne teaches hard work, and how it pays off. Family Martial Arts was so hard to leave. He is light years ahead of other kids his age in his ability to learn quickly and expand on what he learns every day. Master David and Annie do a wonderful job mentoring these children and teaching respect beyond the boundaries of the gym walls. Annie has even started a women's only conditioning for us ladies who don't want the contact training, but still want to keep in shape. It's my once a week pick me up and I love it! The students in this gym become family and support one another not only in jujitsu but other aspects of life. Don't be surprised if you see the class open or close in prayer, David and Annie are both open in their faith and their willingness to make a difference in our community. We unfortunately had a negative experience with the Preschool Dance Camp. It may be better at older…read moreages or regular classes. Giving 2 stars as the studio itself is clean and nice. I attempted to provide feedback and their staff response was absolutely the opposite of customer service best practices.We arrived 5 minutes early and the class was already in the classroom. There was no check-in process and we could have not paid and gone anyway. We entered the studio and no one even looked up to welcome us. All of the kids were holding hands in a circle together. My daughter is slow to warm up, so we expected her to be timid, but, the teachers never attempted to introduce themselves or welcome students.They made all parents leave the room, which was understandable. I watched through the window from the lobby as my daughter stood alone crying while a teacher comforted another girl who was upset. The Mom of the upset girl is a teacher and was appalled at how there was no introduction period for these 3 & 4 year olds to help them get acclimated.In addition, were not notified that parents could not be in the classroom until 5:30pm the day before camp began (6/23), so it did not allow ample time for us to rescind our registration. Unfortunately, this was a huge waste of money as they will not provide any refund for being dissatisfied and not even attending half a class.Needless to say, we will not be returning.
