Drop offs are a breeze but the pick ups are tough because she never wants to leave. You can tell that everyone who works here truly love what they do and cares about every person who walks through their doors. I had to pick up my daughter in the afternoon to take her to an appointment and the staff was so flexible with my request! They let me pick her up at the field trip and they let me drop her back off at the center. She missed getting ice cream because of the appointment but the instructor saved one for her when she got back this place is magical and wonderful!

She asked if there was classes for survival. Luckily I found California Survival School. We were fortunate to have Dan as the instructor. He background is quite extensive and impressive. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although I thought my seven year old would get bored with the lecture portion, Dan kept the group engaged throughout. The hand on activities were our favorite, like building a tend properly. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the class and learned essential skills that can be used in everyday situations. It did take a bit for folks to get started with the harnesses and helmets, so the kids didn't have as much time to climb, which was a bit of a bummer because it took them a bit to warm up and gain some confidence with climbing! Sender City is pretty awesome and the self-belay system is pretty cool too.
