I…read moredon't live in Indiana, but on a recent visit, I decided to stop in and see if they could do anything for me. After 3 years I expected to be told, "Sorry, we can't help", but surprisingly the staff member said, "Let me clean it up for you and take a look." First, a free cleaning-how nice. When she returned, I was surprised they admitted there was an issue with the setting for that diamond and would replace the diamond free of charge. As I mentioned, I live out-of-state and they not only were willing to replace the diamond, but ship it to me insured, all on their dime. They also called me to let me know when the ring was fixed and about to ship to me so I could look out for it. The fix and the delivery back to me was expeditious. Argentum also distinguishes themselves from other jewelers. You will find unique, beautiful jewelry and every time I visit, I find multiple items I'd love to purchase. I'll be back in another year and will make Argentum a stop to reward them for the fantastic customer service by purchasing another piece of jewelry! Thanks so very much, Argentum!!

The first time it was brought here to be resized, as it was my mother in laws ring. They resized it, 5 months later, the solder completely snapped off. They said they would re-solder it. 6 WEEKS later, it snapped again. I took it back, they said silver is not good for "longevity", daily wear etc... again, it had been SIX WEEKS; I don't shower, sleep, work etc with it on. Only then did they encourage a half shank (thicker material for a "permanent" fix.) Only, the ring is still visibly uneven with a noticeable seam left behind. Instead of properly identifying structural issues from the start, they offered quick, band-aid fixes and even tried to quote me $250 for work that should have been caught initially. Save yourself the stress and take your fine jewelry to a jeweler who actually stands by their work.

If you've read any of my reviews you know I am so highly antiques illiterate - it is horrible. My better half knows antiques so admirably well. So I happily tag along and hope he doesn't quiz me as he occasionally does with "What's this?" - my standard answer is "carnival glass" (no matter what it is and "pie safe" for any furniture ) but God love him, he still keeps trying to educate me on antiques. Washrooms are clean (one stall out of tp when we were there but still clean). Parking is a tad but wonky but i think you can park down the street and walk. There is an incredibly amount of stuff. So he looked through three floors of merchandise. I found plenty to intrigue myself. He made several purchases and was quite pleased with our visit. Seemed be a lot of college "kids" in the place which made my heart happy to see younger people happily looking at "old stuff". Overall - a home run visit.

But that's a good thing -- it just means they have a lot of stuff and a big selection. Everything is displayed tastefully, and they have a section for men's clothes and one for women's. They have little dressing rooms for you to try on the clothes, too, but be aware that the lighting in the dressing rooms is very dim.
