So you enter in a cold metal type garage that doesn't smell all that good. We filled out paperwork & went on our way. It was a hot day, so when we picked her up, it looked like most of the dogs were inside that temperature controlled metal garage. Honestly, it reminded us of the Humane Society. The dogs were jumping all over each other. There were many dogs in a small space. They asked who we were picking up & they went to get her. Our dog came out looking kinda scared. They also did not tell us how our dog did, like if she passed her test. We just assumed she did since nothing was said. Not sure if we were supposed to mention she was there for her test. I just assumed it was marked somewhere so when she was picked up they would know. So we just paid our day fee & left. Upon coming home, our dog was also very thirsty. I wish she could talk & tell us what it was like there.

We followed Shannon here from his previous daycare because she's always been amazing with Petey--we trust her completely, and it's clear she really cares about the dogs. The facility is super clean, and we love that there's a temperature-controlled indoor space for comfort along with great outdoor play areas for exercise and fun. Even though it was just his first visit, we already feel confident enough in the care here that we went ahead and booked overnight stays for upcoming trips. Can't wait to see how much Petey enjoys coming back!

If I didn't, she would bolt out of the house and it would become humans herding the herding dog. She would almost always trip me when taking her for a walk and there was one time she took off and pulled the lead out of my hand and almost got hit by a car. In the house, she targeted and chased my cats. I was hoping being a puppy, she would adapt as she grew with them.... Boy, I was wrong. I was telling my frustrations with the above to a coworker one afternoon. He told me of Jill at Countryside Kennels and what they did for his 2 Dobermans 10 years ago. He said that he took 2 unruly dogs down to them, left them for 4 weeks, picked them up after a few hours of training the humans. He said that his family got back perfect dogs. I got their number from my coworker and reached out to Countryside. I talked with Erin for more specifics. I wanted to see if they still professionally trained dogs since 10 years ago was a long time. She explained everything to me and what was expected. I was very happy with what they had to offer so decided to go for it. They were already booked out into March 2019 but Erin offered to put me on a cancellation list. A month went by and I got a call asking if I would like to take her to them the beginning of December 2018. I jumped on it! What I got back is a loving dog who has major self-control! I have no problems with her running off... or even going through a door without permission. The best part is at dinner time, I say Mindi go to your bed... she goes and I tell her to stay while we cook dinner and eat. This can take an hour to an hour and a half or so. Mindi stays put and she is a real good and loving puppy that likes to keep us happy. Jill warned me that she may still be nasty to the cats... I am pleased to say that they can co-exist in the same room with my cats! She is much more obedient...... I mean She is now obedient! She was not before. Thanks so much Jill and Erin! It was worth the drive. Our dog Zeus was 6 months when she entered their hunting and obedience training. She's now 6 years old and still follows commands and is excellent for my husband hunting. When my husband picked her up they took time to go through all of the commands with him until he was comfortable. They answered all of his questions. We referred another friend from Sacramento and he took his male lab to them. He was extremely happy with his results as well. Will take any future dogs here!

After welcoming our daughter at the end of 2021, we needed a reliable dog walking service for our dog, Molly. Our trainer recommended The Vancouver Dog Walkers, and it ended up being one of the best recommendations we've received. For nearly four years, Molly received two 30-minute walks each week. Now that I work from home and have taken over her walks again, I can truly appreciate the positive impact that consistency had on her well-being and behavior. Nick and Phil were both phenomenal dog walkers. They were always friendly, professional, and clearly cared about the dogs they worked with. Kris, the owner, is organized, responsive, and runs an excellent business with high standards. I also appreciate their involvement in the community. We joined their team twice for the Southwest Washington Humane Society Walk/Run events, which was a great experience. If you're looking for dependable, professional, and caring dog walkers, I would highly recommend The Vancouver Dog Walkers.

I was able to add information on his breed and temperament. The form does request vet and rabies vaccination information. This report card took the service to the next level. I know how my pup did and what I need to do to support the team during our next visit! Service was great. The employees were very knowledgeable about my pups breed and took care to tailor their service. Appt was for 11, pup was ready for pickup by 12! I was very pleased to see multiple employees on shift. Two were taking care of pups and one cleaning/at the desk. After being present and viewing how busy it can be, I am confident that a fully staffed shift it necessary. Shame on the man that lost his mind for a cancelled appt. I'd rather a cancelled appt, than to have my pup stressed or waiting for hours. Location had convenient parking and with two entrances. The interior was pristine and smelled great. I especially appreciated the fact that there are separate drying rooms. Our last groomer had one drying table and it always stressed my pup out. Price is on the higher end but totally worth it. I hope they pay their employees well and that 100% of the tip truly goes to the employees. I will do some digging to confirm. I will definitely be back with friends Good job team Bubbly Paws
