I have been sending my dog there for about a month now and overall, I am really, really happy about everything. The staff are sweet to my dog, they rotate the dogs through different pens, and the fact you can check in with the cameras is not only a bonus, but a little bit of a nice work break. The only reason I did not give five stars was because I was a little upset about two week ago when my dog got bit, and I did not receive a phone call about the situation. I heard about it from someone else, who was picking up my dog that day. I did not get an explanation about the situation until I called asking about what happened. I understand little bits and nips happen, but they had to remove my dog, have his ear checked/cleaned, and there is still a scar on my dogs ear where hair needs to grow back. The person I talked to was really apologetic and was kind enough to call me late on that day to let me know exactly what happened and what they did to keep him and the other dog safe. I still send my dog, and will continue to do so because not only is it a really caring place, but my dog gets very excited anytime we pull up to go in. His manners have also improved with other dogs and other people as well. Anyone with a dog who worries about keeping them in the house alone all day, you need to bring your dog to Camp. read more

Our dog used to attend Camp for daycare regularly when we lived on that end of town and I am writing this review because both he and I really do miss it! They pretty much have all of the bells and whistles covered. The inside has a lot ( 4 or 5) nice size play yards and the dogs have continuous access to the outside yards which are also quite large by daycare standards. The staff is really professional and mindful when it comes to caring for my dog.They have Web Cams, which are really more fun than a necessity. It is clean, clean ,clean !! We have also used the boarding on occasion. The overnight "cabins" are spacious. They did not charge extra for administering medication and my dog is always returned to me safe and sound. I always notice a lot of staff members attending to the dogs both when I am there and on the Web Cams when I decide to peak in. We are already missing the daycare services, but they do have Saturday hours so that is a bonus. I guess we will eventually have to find an alternative since we are used to 3 trips a week. As far as boarding, they are on the way to the Airport and very convenient, which makes us and our dog very happy!!!! read more

We started taking our young Great Dane here a few months ago and she absolutely loves it!! She is so excited when we get there that she isn't phased by me leaving and before I can she leave, she runs back to be with the other dogs. We leave here there for a full day and when we pick her up she is beyond exhausted! We are happy to find a place that cares as much about her as we do! They do have you update the bordatella every 6 months, which I appreciate because there are so many dogs. Our neighbors tried out another doggie day camp in the bridgeville area and their dog ended up getting kennel cough after his second visit. Needless to say, we have not encountered a problem since we started taking our Great Dane to camp bow wow! We HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone looking for a doggie day camp that has camera available to watch at all times via their app, clean, friendly staff and caring!! This place is the absolute BEST!!!! We took our 2 boxer puppies, Roxie and Xander, for their first day of camp today. Although they are brother and sister and litter-mates...we adopted Roxie at 8 weeks old....but adopted /rescued Xander just 4 months ago after he was being severely abused and was given a threat of being drowned by his former owner if he wasn't given a new home. He is understandably very attached to us......there is something to be said about the staff at Camp Bow Wow. Xander went right with the staff and never looked back!!! Roxie squiggled when Steve came to pick her up at the end of the day...and immediately ran back to the camp to play more. We are home for the evening, and they are happy and completely worn out!!!! Can't wait to take them back!!!! I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone who feels their dogs are part of the family!!!! They are incredible and love the little "campers." We have been using Camp Bow Wow for a few years now for our 2 dogs. They love it there and are very well taken care of as the staff is great. We like that they have the chance to run around and aren't locked up most of the time as you think happens in a regular kennel. We have used them for overnight boarding and even just day care if we need a free day. Our usual groomer was out for a bit to have a baby and we we were able to have our dog groomed during a visit. They are able to provide the dogs with their Bordetella vaccines if we missed updating them prior to their stay and we've had their nails clipped there as well. It helps to have one place to fit everything in. The dogs get so excited now when we get there and they know what's waiting for them. We can watch them on the web cams from home to see that they are playing and enjoying themselves. They then come home completely pooped and relaxed. We have never run into any problems here. Camp Bow Wow Saved the Days for Haylie and me. I have been a customer of Camp Bow Wow, "Trumbull Dr." for the past 6 months. When I got my German Shepard last December I didnt realize how much exercise, attention, and love she needed. If it was'nt for Camp Bow Wow, she would of been at home with her two cat friends and I could only imagine what havoc they all would be getting into. Not only is my dog loved, taken care of and paid attention to. I dont have to worry about her when I am at work,and I can always watch her on camper cam.. I am glad that she is playing with the other dogs there, and I know she is getting all of her exercise due to the fact of how tired she is when she gets home. The camp is spotless, I have never seen a dogs mess in the play area's, they clean it up asap. I have never had a problem with the staff and all my instructions where followed to the "T". I recommend Camp Bow Wow to all of my fellow dog lovers. My Husky/Hound mix, Tank adores CBW! He literally drags me to the door as soon as we set foot/paw in the parking lot. The staff is friendly, helpful, and ensures that your dog has a wonderful time while they are at camp. They have multiple rooms and place your dog in a room of dogs with a similar temperament. CBW does not nickel and dime you for "extras" like treats, blankets and playing. Everything is included in their very reasonable price. Dogs that are boarded overnight get to run around and play all day with the day care dogs. CBW also has webcams that can be viewed (no charge) on their website, it's nice to be able to check in while you're away. By the time you come back to pick up your dog, you'll wonder if they had a better time than you did. A few months ago, my family was blessed with a long-term visitor - my uncle's retriever, Momo! My uncle is traveling abroad for several months, and we gladly took Momo into our home (all the way from Atlanta). As an active dog, she needs some energetic friends (and any extra human love she can get her paws on) during the day while I work, so we became a Camp Bow Wow member! The experience has been nothing short of awesome; the staff is so kind and a joy to interact with, and Momo is one VERY happy girl when I pick her up every day. Do NOT use Camp Bow Wow Southwest for daycare or boarding needs. Many people have had horrific experiences by leaving their loved ones in their care. My dog was returned to me with multiple, gaping wounds oozing with blood all around her neck as though she were in a vicious dog attack. The owner, Barb, is extremely unprofessional and unresponsive to any customer concern you may have and I was stuck with an outrageous vet bill and needless to say was extremely devastated to see my dog in such pain. Not only that, she was very abrasive and rude when she only spoke to me via phone, after multiple phone calls. They also are unsanitary and your dog will pick up kennel cough, fleas and other ailments. This was the WORST experience with any kennel in my entire life, for your own sake NEVER use this business. read more

We LOVE Camp Bow Wow!!! I have looked all over town and am extremely picky about where Leo stays. I couldn't be happier with Camp Bow Wow. Leo has been going to the Southwest location for the past 3 years and I have total confidence that he is treated as well at Camp Bow Wow as he is treated at home. The staff is second to none. EVERYONE knows each dog individually - and pays close attention throughout the day. 99% of the time - when I get on the webcam during the day, a staff member is in the back area playing with the dogs. They are never left alone.The people that work there are there because they truly love dogs; it's not just a 'job' for them. The facility is extremely clean, the staff is well organized. We love our dog more than anything in the world. So we wouldn't trust him to just anyone. In fact, we won't trust him to anyone but the exceptional people at Camp Bow Wow. They love dogs as much as any owner ever could. You can tell by the excitement the employees show whenever we drop our dog off for his day care three days a week. You can see it when you watch the camper web cam and watch the employees sitting with the dogs, who all love their sitters. The facility is impeccably clean. We have never, ever had a negative experience there. We consider everyone who works at Camp Bow Wow to be extended family. We have been taking out 2 year old husky mix there since she was 6 months old. It is wonderful. They made the puppy months a lot easier to deal with because we were able to take her there anytime we needed her tired out. She would play all day and come home and sleep for 2 days. The Camper Cams are great. I spend more time watching her than doing work! We have also used them for overnight boarding. Once again the dogs get to play all day and are so tired they go to sleep right away. She had a blast. They have an excellent screening process to weed out aggressive dogs and don't discriminate against any specific dog breeds. A huge plus in my book! Our two dogs, Max and Emma, have been going to Camp Bow Wow Pittsburgh SW (in Greentree) one or two days a week for almost a year. They are always excited when we get there, so I know they like it, and I love that they are tired and calm when I pick them up (a tired dog is a happy owner). We've tried other doggy day care locations in the Pittsburgh area but at Camp Bow Wow they seem to get more exercise, more time to play and interact with other dogs, constant supervision, and with the camper cams I can check on them any time I wish. Camp Bow Wow provides a better service at a better price than any other doggy daycare I know of in the area. I would urge anyone looking for daycare or boarding services to check them out. read more

My dog Wes, a very high energy goldendoodle, loves going to Camp Bow Wow. He plays with his friends there 5 days a week. As soon as I turn the corner and drive toward CBW, Wes is yelping with excitement. He loves being squirted with water and especially splashing in the pools when the weather is warm. He recently had a short vacation at CBW for a long weekend. He was one tired dog when I picked him up. "A tired dog is a happy dog!!" Wes also gets bath every Friday because he has so much fun playing with his friends all week. Everyone on the staff knows his name and is very personable and welcoming. CBW is a lifesaver for me since it would not be fair to leave my sweet dog home alone all day while i work. read more

My beagle Jake has been going to Camp Bow Wow SW no less than three days a week for over a year now -- he's a huge fan, and so am I! A half day is plenty for him, and he's usually asleep in the car within five minutes. At just two years, Jake is highly socialized with both people and other dogs -- all thanks to Camp Bow Wow. The facilities are impeccably clean, the staff is very friendly and genuinely cares about the dogs, and it's great to have all of the amenities of daycare, overnight boarding, bathing, grooming, etc -- one-stop shopping! My dog Max has been to Camp Bow Wow for both doggie day care and also to overnight camp for a few years now. As soon as we pull up he can not wait to get out of the car! He runs in and never looks back. Kind of hurts my feelings a little. While we are away on vacation we can watch him on the webcams with his doggie pals having a good time. When he comes home I am not sure if he is just so tired from playing or just missing his doggie friends, I think a little of both. This is one of the best things I ever did for my dogs. The go to doggy daycare on Saturdays and are so excited when entering the building. The dogs inside have such happy barks!!! I love watching the web cams and seeing how the dogs greet each other as someone new comes to play for the day. My dogs are so happy at Camp Bow Wow and when I board them, I do not have to worry....they are on vacation as well. The staff is so excellent. You can tell they love their jobs and all the dogs that come to visit and stay. I have no complaints, all happy and good experiences. We just completed level 2 training with Sara and Renee. They both are fabulous with the training. They are so good at altering the class to fit each dog. Dogs, like people, learn differently. My dog is very stubborn and knows how to work the system. Sara and Renee give me additional tips and tricks to outsmart my dog! I can't wait for level 3 class to start!!! I really wish that CBW offered additional classes like agility, lure coursing, scent training, etc. Sara and Renee are so amazing that I don't want to go anywhere else!!!! My dog also goes to camp 5 days a week and the camp counselors incorporate training while he is there! Such a great support system. read more

I have boarded my 2 dogs (Storm and Rain) at Camp Bow Bow in Greentree in the past and plan on boarding them again in September. The staff there is very attentive to your dogs needs. My dogs are my children, I wish I could take them everywhere with me but unfortunately I can not...I am grateful that there is a place like Camp Bow Wow to board your dogs, it gives me some peace of mind knowing that they are in good hands and get the exercise they need.
