Absolutely love these guys! So long story short we have two dogs and have taken them to their fair share of boarders as well as groomers and I can say without a doubt Brizes is by far our favorite, not only is the price unbeatable if you compare to other boarders and groomers but the way the dogs come home compared to the others is what makes this place so great in my mind. We used to use the dog stop constantly and we noticed the dogs would come home drained and generally unhappy we joked around and said they had PTSD, so we decided to try out Brizes and every time they come home it's as if they were staying with a family member. Brizes has outdoor pens where the dogs can traverse from a heated indoor area to the outdoor section, they offer swimming, walks and play time as well as grooming and baths. So yah I can't say more than good enough things about these guys, if you're on the fence with boarding your dogs give them a try you won't be disappointed read more

A family friend referred us to the kennel. Our dog has stayed there a number of times now. Their prices are posted and the staff are very transparent about what they are before you pick up your dog. The rates are also clearly posted on their website. We love that our dog, who was never socialized by her first owner and thus doesn't like most people, enjoys her time with the staff at the kennel. The kennel is an old farm and is a very spacious bucolic setting. While at the kennel, our dog gets the opportunity to go on walks, one on one play time, and in the warmer months time to play in a pool. We also get her groomed there and she's never a problem for the groomers. We appreciate the discount when you pay in cash versus paying with a credit card. We have recommended the kennel to others. They also have a pick up and drop off service for your pets but we haven't use that yet. read more

Brizes Kennel is a cut above the rest. While in Hawaii and being so far away, our trip was stress free and relaxing knowing our baby Mayzi is in the absolute best hands. We got a FaceTime call from one of the workers on Christmas Day showing us all the toys and treats they got our girl. One star for reasonable pricing and one friendly young staff member, plus the fact that our dog came home safely and seemingly happy. Minus four stars for the fact that we had made our reservations weeks in advance, and when we dropped our dog off, they didn't notify us the price-per-night had changed and even agreed to the price we saw weeks prior on the website! In the weeks between his stay and when we booked, apparently their prices had gone up. We got a cash discount, and so my husband brought the cash that we all agreed on weeks prior AND at drop-off. He paid the remaining balance but came back in a few minutes later when he remembered all of this was a fact and his memory was serving him right. My husband is a very mild-mannered guy, and he brought it up on principle that we should pay the price we agreed on when we made our reservation and when we dropped our dog off. We only wanted the $30-$40 extra back, but the older man snatched the wad we had handed him previously out of the till and threw it across the counter at my husband. We would have settled for the extra bit of money back that he tried to milk out of us in hopes we wouldn't confront him about, but a full refund was nice, even if thrown at us in a fit of rage! Even in the weeks prior to drop-off, I received attitude for things that were very basic questions about specific kennels, such as drop-off procedures, etc. Their cutesy sign the lobby says, "Dogs are welcome, people tolerated" but their attitudes and customer service skills say, "Dogs tolerated, customers do what we say and shut up." Not that I'd return anyway, but when this is how they treat humans, how can I trust them with my dog? No thank you. read more

I've used Brizes several times for my 2 Havanesse. They are fantastic with them. I never have to worry about them while they are in their care. They let me keep them in the same run so they don't get to anxious. The staff really seems to enjoy their job also. read more

I've boarded my dog here several times since 2016. The prices are fair and the care is great. They have a doggy pool for the summer and a beautiful farm-like setting. I watched how the handler even played with the dog in the swimming area, and how they walked the dogs around the "farm". They seemed like they loved their job. I had my dog groomed, and he came out looking and smelling like a million bucks! Perhaps the old review from below sparked changes in this kennel, because I have never experienced rudeness or disorganization. I have gotten a report card and all his belongings in a timely organized manner when I picked my dog up. Brizes Kennel I called and talked to Ron twice regarding boarding my dogs for 7 days while I was in Paris in late Aug this year. I also called a week ahead to confirm and talked to Ron again who did no have my reservation. That was not a good sign. When I dropped off my 2 dogs, Ron checked me in and he was extremely rude (that's a mild statement) and disinterested. I was not allowed to leave my dog's bed with them. I had to ask if I could see where they would be (Barb later told me that unless you ask, you're not offered one) sine I had never been there. I was not allowed to see them before I left. Ron's attitude was ridiculous. I couldn't believe that a business owner (or SON of one) would behave in such a way. I mean, you try to get good referrals, right? I called Barb, the owner, and before I could even say two sentences she said, "Well I don't mean to make excuses for Ron, but he's been in a lot of pain lately. IN face, he's prob on the way to the hospital now." Who cares? You run a business. So because you're not feeling well, you can just give crappy service to someone? AND be rude? If there was someone behind me, then maybe someone should have been called to help..... Honestly, I would have taken my dogs somewhere else, but my flight to Paris left the next day... When I picked up my guys, I had to ask Deidre where their belongings were, how they did (she didn't know), and what the chicken scratch was that Ron wrote on my sheet. She told me that "You want to look over here" at the prices but I wanted to know WHAT I was being charged for not just how MUCH. She also had that nonchalant, cavalier attitude. I also don't even think that they gave my one dog is ear meds since I saw no signs of it being given. (It's a greasy meds and his ears were not greasy). When Jess, came out with my dogs, I asked how they did and she said she didn't know. I find this extremely unacceptable for a kennel. These are basic services/questions that should be given/answered. If you look on their Facebook page, they wrote "That's life" to a complaint anout a dog being harmed in their care. That's the professional kind of care you receive at Brizes. Even if the reviewer was not accurate, you really don't say 'That's life!" to someone. Needless, to say I will be going elsewhere. read more

The staff's professionalism and sensitivity in caring for my pet is as if it is their own. The Kennels are always clean and ready. This place is horrible!!! I had an emergency come up and had a 6 month old puppy. Unfortunately I didn't have anyone nearby that could take care of my pup and Brizes was recommended by a co-worker. HORRIBLE! The boarding experience was only overnight and thank goodness for that. When I went to pick up my puppy in the AM (right at opening time 9am) I immediately got an attitude from the young girl working at the counter. She said my puppy (whom was completely house trained at that point) made a huge mess in the kennel and peed everywhere throughout the night. I came to find out that my 6 month old puppy had been let out at 4pm the previous evening and had not even been out at 9am yet....that's 17 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have been better off leaving my dog at home and let it pee on the floor. He was soaked with urine and she handed me a bag with his toys (I didn't even get all of them back) that were soaked with urine. There was not even any food missing from his bag which leads me to believe that he may not have even eaten while he was there. To top things off she went to go get him and I heard him yelping. I went back to go see what was going on just in time to see her pulling him by the leash dragging him across the floor. I sternly told her to stop and obviously took her by surprise that I saw what was going on. She told me I wasn't allowed to be back there and I told her I was getting my dog. Again, he was completely soaked with urine and the kennels were deplorable. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. Horrible, and I do not recommend you taking your pets here at all! read more
