We used CBW Houston during our visit over the Christmas holidays so that our dog could meet our other family members dog in a pack space. The results were incredible. Everyone got along fine which elevated the stress of putting unknown dogs together for the first time. They came back a second day for fun and frivolity and were both tuckered out from all the fun and they slept like babies that evening. The facility is very clean and you would never know that dogs are even there-no smell of any kind. The staff friendly and inviting. If you are traveling from out of state do call first as Texas requires your dog to have the dog flu shot before enjoying camp. The shot it a 2 part shot so you need to prepare for the visit. We were from Florida and it was difficult finding a veterinarian that carried the shot but it it possible. We will definitely return and definitely recommend.

Day we picked him up with urine all over him.

I have been going to Camp Bow Wow in the heights since they opened I believe in 2019. We sent Goku, our golden doodle there & it was up & coming, friendly place. I remember Michael, who I have not seen in awhile & he took such good care of Goku. We got an Aussiedoodle, Gohan last year and when we would leave town, we boarded them together. The prices were extremely reasonable a year ago, and recently, they have increased dramatically (doubled in price), which is fine, however; one would think that with prices increasing, the level of care would remain the same. In July, we boarded our dogs for a trip. When we came back, we never received pictures of their "cuddle time" or "extra play" which we let slide. Additionally, we advised them to feed our boys for lunch/dinner and packed enough food for the entire stay, plus a little extra. When we got the food bags back, there was more than half of the food remaining; which meant my boys were not being fed enough. I let it slide but did bring it to their awareness. We just picked up our boys after a couple days of traveling. We paid about $550 dollars (since prices increased) for 5 nights. We are supportive of the business and paid for extra cuddle time & pictures for their Labor Day weekend theme. I never received pictures of the cuddle time, and when I inquired, I was told "we were super busy & you just didn't get them but normally we would." Since the bill was so high, I asked for an itemized receipt. My dogs smelled absolutely terrible. Goku had urine all over him. I called on our way home after being extremely upset looking at the itemized receipt & Goku. The employee (a male) said a dog urinated on Goku out in the yard. I asked why he could not be hosed down & he said since I did not pay for a bath; they did not. Wow. I immediately emailed corporate and within a couple of minutes, received a call back from the guy asking if I wanted a free bath for both dogs tomorrow or Tuesday. I rejected since I will not allow my dogs to walk around the home with urine on them smelling terrible. I asked for the "Director of Region" or whatever he said to call me back to tell me why such an incident would occur and is allowed. Whoever she was, called and apologized. Said the employee had a "misstep" and she felt so bad since Goku & Gohan are always well groomed, which does not help her case. If I am sending my dogs well groomed and paying nearly 550 dollars for a stay, I would expect that my dogs be returned to me in that manner. I will continue to reach out to corporate for further answers & a refund. I also shared I will NEVER return to Camp Bow Wow again. What is most upsetting is I do not know how long my dog has been walking around with urine on him. Save your money & go somewhere else. Also, if you know of any places you would recommend for dogs, please share. Thanks.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Georgia is my first dog, I am 100% a basic white girl dog mom as well. So when I got her I said daycare is a must! I looked at daycares for probably 3/4 nights in a row, comparing prices, what is included, reviews, what the daycare looks like inside, and if they have cameras or not. This was the first place I took her, I was a bit sad when she wasn't outside all day long but honestly it doesn't matter. She does go outside sometimes and plays so so so well with the other dogs that are there. I've never been told she is too rough or too big, granted she's 55 pounds now. When I walk into drop her off I'm always greeted so friendly and when I pick her up they know who she is. I love love love loveeee that. I am a person who goes to the same nail salon until they close, the same groomer until the groomer moves to a new place and then follows that groomer. Our family dog went to the same groomer for 5 year until she passed away. I love that they build the repore with their customers. Georgia is ALWAYS happy when she gets into the car, sometimes she still has energy left but that quickly goes away with our nightly walks! She is starting their play and train program and I love that they do training 3 days a week and she gets to come home with me! If you want a happy dog and a great place for daycare put your dog here! Plus the first day is free I mean what more could you ask for! Oh and they do cute seasonal photos for free too so I mean it's a win win win win win!!!

Honestly I'm not one to write bad reviews but my dogs have stayed twice for boarding and both times I've had issues. First time they came back with fleas second time one came back with pink eye and had to be taken to the vet. They do however do a great job with grooming but due to thecircumstances I will not be returning.

We unfortunately needed to board our sweet basset with a paw injury. The staff at CBW were so great with ensuring he received his meds, was drinking /eating and received loving attention. They were fantastic at keeping me updated throughout his stay. The facility and my pup's suite are immaculate. We will continue to use this CBW for future stays.

passed out even on the way home !!

My fur baby loves Camp Bow Wow and gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot. The best part is she comes home absolutely exhausted and passes out-a side of her I had never seen before as she has SO much energy. The staff have all been phenomenal, the interview process is easy breezy, and I love the fact that I can check on my girl on the app via cameras and see her play. I did the warm up package which is 3 full day daycare sessions (up to 12 hours of play!) and a bath for only $75 - a steal!! They're even open 7 days a week which is hard to find. Would highly recommend!

Exhausted after a full day of play at day care!

Camp Bow Wow is awesome! Most importantly, Charlie loves it there! He whines in excitement when we pull up in the morning for day care, plays all day and comes home an exhausted pup! It's also nice to be able to watch them on the cameras. The staff are also great and obviously love their job.

Dogs always have a lot of fun at CBW. My German Shepard has a blast and always sleeps well after being at daycare there.

Judge for yourself if the injuries are scratches or bite marks and if a dog is physically able to scratch itself on the inside of its ear. They are very clearly puncture wounds to us and our vet. --------------------------------------- Dropped off our blind dog 11.24.2025 at roughly 3pm. The morning of 11.28.2025 we received a message that his ear had been bleeding and they believed it was from scratching so they provided him with the expected medical care. Afternoon of 11.29.2025 they told us he was "shaking". My wife was able to pick him up early and take him to the emergency vet (Saturday evening and regular vet closed) who shaved and treated the area and gave him antibiotics. We did follow-up with our regular vet and they determined that the injuries were puncture wounds from a dog attack. When we told them Fur Paws said the injuries were from him scratching himself they looked at us like we had just told them 1 + 1 = 3. In spite of the records we provided from the vet showing his treatment history and their diagnosis of "dog bite wounds and vestibular disease" Fur Paws claims he arrived there with some condition that led to him scratching himself (on the inside of his ear too!). He arrived 11.24, they noticed wounds 11.28, and by the afternoon of 11.29 he was shaking so he had a fever. It takes 24-72 hours for infection and then a fever to occur so one can do the math on their claim that he arrived with an ailment already. Then you add in that these are clearly not scratch marks and you see that they're questioning our intelligence with their explanation. Send your dog here at your own risk.

He absolutely hates getting wet and doesn't like anyone getting near his paws. Because of his absolute hatred for getting groomed, we only take him twice a year to Wag'n World. Skyler did a fantastic job during our husky's most recent visit AND he was able to trim our dog's nails! We couldn't stop staring at our dog afterwards and was in complete shock that Skyler was able to trim his nails. The service took approximately 3 hours (bath, deshed, teeth brush and nail trim). Although there are plenty of other closer grooming salons near our home, we don't hesitate to drive a little further to take our dog to see Skyler!

My husband missed her, so I looked around for a doggie daycare so she wouldn't have to stay in a hotel room all day. I checked several facilities, but in the end, I was lucky to find a facility about a mile from my hotel. I bought my Mini Goldendoodle Korra to the Montrose location for a day visit to see how she would interact. She had never been in daycare before, so I was concerned that she might not like it. I also called several facilities to ask questions. All of them answered my questions, though it was clear to me that some of the staff were perhaps making up answers on the fly. The manager took her time answering my questions and gave me some great insight as to how Korra might fit into their groups. All my worries were for naught. First of all, the first thing I noticed was how clean the facility was. All of the other facilities I visited smelled like a "dog", for lack of a better word. The staff was very nice, and they treated Korra like they had known her forever! They could tell that she was nervous because she did not go willingly at first, looking back at me as if to say, " Who are these people, and WHY are you letting them take me away"?!!! I told her she would be ok and the staff member took her time leading Korra away. She didn't drag her away, as I've seen some people do at other facilities. They also have an app to let you watch your dog whenever you want. I opened the app and let it stay open all day. I watched, as the staff introduced Korra to the other dogs, allowed her to follow them around until she felt comfortable, played with her, and encouraged her to go outside when time to do so. By the time I went to pick Korra up, she was ready to go, but her tail wagged excitedly and she seemed to have had a lovely day. The next morning as soon as I received my car, she jumped into her seat, again tail wagging excitedly. We arrived at the facility and she nearly dragged me out of the car to get into the facility! She had several great days until my husband was transferred from Houston to Florida because of the last two storms. We were both sad to go but if we are ever back in town I know that I have a lovely place for Korra, where she will be loved and looked after in. the best possible way! My sincere thanks to all of the staff at the Wag N World Montrose facility! We will be sure to come back when we are in town!
