I only ate about 25% of my food before I abandoned ship. We order the salmon. The salmon size is much smaller than the other Cameron's. After the pandemic we noticed the size they used to serve was cut in half. First: I specifically requested that my sides come packaged separately. They were not! Instead I received hot coleslaw, rubbery, soggy, fried fish and the rest will be addressed. Now who wants fried fish(tilapia, even though I requested whiting)? And then casually placed upon a piece of foil, which sat DIRECTLY on top of my steamed vegetables! Sidebar:Their "new" containers have no ventilation, therefore I had mushy food. If that wasn't enough, my coleslaw was stuffed within this hotbox. WHY?!? I just want to know why you would put a cold side, underneath seafood(within the platter) and then sealed in a plastic container? By the time I got home and opened my package, the slaw was nearly the same temperature as the fish and various seafood items(Scallops, Spiced Shrimp, Crabcake(AWWWWFUL, nothing but housemade batter and minced/shredded crabmeat) Discarded immediately! This is not my favorite Cameron's. Though, I am a fan of the franchise (well moreso, the catfish sandwich of the franchise. Which is cooked to perfection every single time at EVERY single location. How do they do it? I do not know.), I didn't enjoy my last meal here. I decided to branch out of my typical catfish sandwich box and instead ordered a very unextraordinary crab cake sandwich. I wouldn't say it was nasty. I'd just simply say it was plain. Boring even. Comparable to the really nice, sweet, boring, and not ugly but not cute guy that liked you back in elementary school. He just wasn't exciting enough. There was no "spark". That's how I felt about this sandwich. And I will not be ordering that EVER again. But I WILL continue to rely on Camerons for a superb catfish sandwich. Probably until my death...No, seriously. Oh and um, I'm not really a huge fan of the service at this one either.
