Booked a special offer of 30 minutes in the studio. Photos came out ok, but had a few concerns :…read more 1. We were only in about 10-15 minutes. Felt very rushed. Didn't have time to check hair etc before shoot (in fact didn't see a mirror there to do that even if you had time ?), so we all had messy hair in the pictures (it was a bit windy outside). The pictures came out ok, but I think it's very important that people get the chance to see how they look before getting their picture taken. One of our group didn't like any of the photos at all, as her hair was very messy. 2. We weren't asked what style of photo we like, and they were all posed photos. We wanted more natural ones. We thought the natural ones would be taken after the posed ones, but we had the posed ones taken then were told the session was over. My overall impression was that the owner possibly doesn't enjoy doing her job as much as she used to ? For our family it just felt like a factory production line. For us asking the customer what they want, making sure they are happy with how they look before the session starts, and giving them the advertised amount of time are all important in a photo shoot.

One example of this is when we experienced a heavy down pour just as we were about to leave the church. This could have caused a long delay however Steve quickly adapted the plans and arranged our group photos to be taken inside. This prompt action ensured that the day still ran to schedule. Before the big day we went for a pre wedding shoot at his studio where he talked us through the day, what to expect, how things would run, and how best we should organise ourselves and the bridal party. The advice Steve gave us on that day turned out to be utterly invaluable. Never in my life have I been on time for anything, but thanks to Steve and his pep talk not only was I on time I was actually ready early which meant I could take time to relax and enjoy every aspect of the day rather than feeling flustered and rushed.We were so pleased with the way the pictures turned out, they got all the pictures we requested, knew exactly where all the best picture opportunities in the venue where and whilst doing all this, kept everybody (all 120 guests and 1 guide dog) organised, assured and calm. Everybody knew where they were meant to be and when they were meant to be there, which meant all the group shots ran smoothly and efficiently allowing us sufficient time to have plenty of shots of just us together AND a bit of time to socialise too, before the wedding breakfast.Steve and Karen were professional, organised and an integral part of our day. They didn't just take their profession seriously but they took our wedding day seriously too. We honestly can not recommend them highly enough!
