Indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, picnic tables and benches here and there with lots of shady spots to just hang out on a nice day. You'll meet many people at social events which are done monthly and so beautifully decorated, live music (or other things like line dancing, etc.), and delicious snack treats! Also regular weekly bingo evenings, games afternoons 4 weekdays every week, an AMAZING CHRISTMAS DINNER for residents as well as FABULOUS BBQ outdoors in September. Many seniors, however, this community has many age levels, including folks with children, singles and many people who are not retired. Very friendly and efficient staff respond to our needs very quickly. Close to all amenities anyone can ever need and very near the Welland Canal walking / bike path (and my personal favourite, the Grantham Trail path which leads directly to Lake Ontario trails)... both are paved and wide. I was charged $30 and had to wait 30 days to receive the minutes. When the minutes arrived there was no mention of a fence or cost. Two weeks ago I notified Lauren Bowman, our Shabr representative, about damage to the front lawn of our townhouse. The damage was caused by a crew that was installing new wiring for TV reception. I included a photograph of the damage caused by a heavy piece of equipment. The result: Nada. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) rates Property Management Companies using the following scale: A+ A A- B+ B B- C+ C C-. I tracked 10 companies in our region. 7 of them received an A+ rating, 1 an A rating and 2 a C+ rating. Shabri was rated C+. ACMO (Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario) represents Condominium managers. ACMO's mission is to advance the quality and performance of condominium managers and management companies and the services that they provide.There are over 50 active condominium management firms that are members. Shabri is not a member. When I asked James North why Shabri was not a member he said that ACMO was no longer relevant. Conclusion: Shabri is NOT a viable choice for Condominium Management.

The infestations have been mentally, physically and financially taxing as well as extremely time consuming to control. The first infestation, under previous management, was dealt with quickly and I have seen no more cockroaches since but the new building management - CLV Group Inc. - has been slow to deal with the bed bug infestation. It has been over 2 months since the issue has been reported and the issue remains far from resolved. Even with a lot of money spent on preventative measures and an aggressive cleaning regimen of nightly vacuuming, daily cleaning and carefully checking my bed and furniture frequently I often wake covered in painful and itchy bed bug bites and must check myself and my things very carefully before leaving my apartment to avoid spreading the infestation to friends and loved ones.

Her and her husband and mother moved in the building 2 years ago. Along with there beds infected with bedbugs, cockroachs. Within two months the apartment beside them and above them had to move to other apartments within the building. Eventually the floor to which they resided in had to be sprayed. I personally would like to Thank Stefanie our Superintendent which came aboard and took quick action to evict these individuals. I personally attended the court case of Chris Young. It took 8 months to evict this family. Since their departure we have had building functions together. No cockroach's and a building happy Tennant. Sean our maintenance man has revamped/ repaired most of the units within. These people are a menace to society. They killed their dog last summer due to heat exposure. I viewed there apartment after they were evicted and I've never seen anything like it. It was sprayed three times and had to be gutted completely which Sean is working diligently. Feces on the walls. The odors tringled down the second floor where I refrained company to visit me. With the Superintendent Stefanie and are amazing maintenance guy Sean we the Tennant are becoming socially acquainted with one another.
