With any booking you are granted access to the premises from 8am to 7pm. It's better to go early during the week because they say it gets busy on the weekends. I pre booked a 50 min trellis massage. Kendal gave the best massage I ever had, I swear! Although I will say there is definitely discrepancy with time as they add in them walking you to the room, pre conversation, undressing, all of that into it. So ultimately it can vary from 35-40 mins which is a bit meh for the cost of $200 + 23% mandatory gratuity (not including tip). I most definitely would come back for another massage with Kendal. And u will be assigned a locker when you check in at the front desk. They also lend u sandals to wear if u want to borrow them. The massage area has 22 rooms and 3 waiting areas upstairs. And they to have areas where people are sleeping in their robes. I didn't think it would be so busy on a random weekday but I was wrong. There was a constant flow of people. I love all of the amenities. They provided coffee, tea, short bread cookies, fruits and nuts and of course water. My masseuse was great. I got the pressure exactly how I like it. I love the choice of oils I can use for my massage. I love the smell and esp bc it's the veranda natura bisse and it's all natural. When I was done with my massage, I went to the pool outside to enjoy myself. One pool was hotter than the other. I sat under the trellis and eventually ordered lunch. I didn't think lunch was going to be good but it was amazing. I've had lunch here years ago when I stayed on the Houstonian hotel and I ordered room service. I ordered salmon both times and it's still good years later. Everyone here was great. The massages do include the tip and I believe it's like 20-25%. Also the food that I ordered at the pool came with a service charge as well. Now the people at the pool were wonderful. They made sure we have water always. U can also refill the water yourself but they do come around with a tray with cups of cold water. So the pools outside are heated and the pool inside is cold. There is also a jacuzzi which is small. I had a wonderful experience here. Can't wait to go back when I need some R&R. And if u go on the weekends the massage prices are going to cost more.
