I have been contributing to The Montrose Center through United Way for many years. But I never…read morereally set foot at this place. My initial impression about this facility was very pleasant. I love the parking lot, the most valuable asset. It serves in multiple functions, from community health, support groups, mental health counselling to meeting room rentals. I gave myself a tour and went to different floors to explore this wonderful facility. I met with a helpful receptionist and friendly client. There are support groups for all ages - one for seniors called SPRY (Seniors Preparing for Rainbow Years) and a youth support group called Hatch. It's nice to see other groups are conveniently located under one roof. The marquee shows the activities schedule and room location on each floor. I had an amazing experience with many volunteering opportunities at The Montrose Center. And, I will continue my efforts giving back to the community.

Last year, my sister returned with her two high schoolers and me this year with mine. I will continue to use their services and recommend them highly! The sessions consist of non-traditional tests that evaluate your natural aptitudes. You also fill out a form at the end about career fields and hobbies that you like to do. The conclusion session is so enlightening. The researcher/tester explains all your aptitudes, your strengths and weaknesses, how those translate to career choices, college class choices and other education or job choices. They also tie in your likes with your natural aptitudes and show how the two can work together. This natural aptitude testing is so amazing to help understand yourself and how and why you do things a certain way. It can help a rising college student avoid changing majors often as his/her "likes" change, and can help any person understand their bent and help direct their job/career/hobby choices! A great investment that helps avoid costly choices (like changing majors) in the future.

There is one wheel, but wheel throwing classes are not available. Additionally, people tend to leave the tools in the sink all the time.... or leave things out...... The community is fine. Wouldn't say there's as much expertise sharing as in other communities; this is a great mostly beginner/intermediate level community. For hand building being the main thing this place has to offer I believe it needs more items that compliment hand building such as, more foam in different shapes, Weight scales, sand paper to level the bottom of an item, drimmels, etc. a lot of items that compliment hand building are missing here...

I was ready to start but couldn't because of technical issues. We had some problems setting up my test. When I left the testing room to get help she was helping someone else. I was not happy with the delays. A place like this shouldn't be having technical issues, they are a COMPUTER LEARNING center after all. One thing I did enjoy was that they were able to accommodate my request for a private testing area. The testing room was quiet and peaceful, with many other testers nearby. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. They did not offer flexible payment methods. and the delays (partially due to the fact that they have outdated computer equipment) were a deal breaker for me. Check out Excel Solutions Team instead.

I was impressed by the online instructor of the course. The instructor was actually online conducting the class with audio which I thought was interesting. Nevertheless it made no difference... It was still just as great as having the Instructor in person. Depending on the class you have various options to meet your needs. Plenty of breaks in between and a great feature to look forward to is having access to the course for an additional 6 months after completion and a certificate to add to your resume! Another interesting twist.. I would of never thought it would be in the same building as all of these high end interior design shops. So during your break it's always nice to skim through...

Our kids were at 3 Rs beginning in January 2012 through August 2019, when our youngest wrapped up…read moreand headed into kinder. We absolutely loved every moment of it. The teachers and care givers are wonderful. They treat the children with love, respect and the utmost of care. Plus they're smart, creative and fun which made our kids look forward to being there. There are a ton of wonderful traditions they have that the kids look forward to year after year. The education our children received was top notch. Pre-K at 3Rs more than prepared our kids for kinder. Last but not least, the administration has done a wonderful job of evolving the school over time while still keeping the homey, small school feel alive. If you're looking for a great place to teach your kids to be independent, curious and intelligent citizens, I encourage you to consider 3 Rs!

This school is in the…read morecozy Heights neighborhood in an original Heights bungalow house turned Montessori school for small children. Everything is geared for and designed around the children and they love it. The teachers are all wonderful and attentive and the communication is excellent. The director, Lori, always responds timely and she is so patient with all of my first time parent questions. My husband and I feel safe and comfortable dropping our baby and toddler off at 3Rs. Our children come home with knowledge to share. They are 3 and 1 and it is evident that they have learned something! They are developing independence, confidence and self awareness. For a final touch, I myself attended this school 30+ years ago. It really hasn't changed much and there is something to say about that. The Montessori philosophy works. The educators believe in it and believe in the children. I would recommend this school time and again and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
