They have never once let us down in the level of care our Mother has with her Alzheimer's, which is challenging as all know. Mom is safe, relaxed hair combed, clean clothes EVERY SINGLE time we have stopped in and those times have varied immensely over the years. Walking into their home is liking walking into my own family's home. Sparkling clean, INCREDIBLY good and tempting smells coming from the kitchen, fresh fruit available every time I have been there. I often kid with Beth and tell her to get a room ready, I am ready to move in and be pampered the way she does our Mother. As Mom's illness has progressed over the years, Beth and Gloria have shown us methods that help Mom know we are there, better methods of "reaching" her, something I do not feel I could have learned on my own. If you are looking for a PERFECT place for a parent who needs more help than the family can provide, there is nowhere else I could recommend. They are gifts from heaven in my book!

You could look far & wide to find a more caring environment but I doubt you'd find it. Their house is always scrupulously clean; mom is always clean & well groomed. The only time I smell anything is when meals are being prepared & it smells GOOD! If I could live there myself, I would!! Food is freshly prepared & dietary restrictions aren't an issue - they cater to it (mom is diabetic). The Cuenco family is friendly, compassionate, genuine, & clearly love what they do. It shows in every aspect of their Board & Care home. I count my family's blessings the day I was introduced to the them. Mom couldn't be in more capable hands & we all take comfort in knowing that she, in the depths of Alzheimer's, is in such a loving environment. The Cuenco's also have a Board & Care Home in Concord. I've no doubt it's as FABULOUS as their Antioch home.

With Kaiser, we received a long list of providers, almost none called us back until we connect with Paige. Her and the team were warm, friendly! Carefully walked us through the process and appointments. We found something that worked with our schedule and a year later I can attest this place is AWESOME. My son is thriving, they have given advice in each session, really dive into my son's special interests, and have provided a clean and safe environment. The current location has two rooms where they hold sessions. The front room has puzzles, and interactive toys while the back has a play area. My son went from saying one word sentences to 4-5 word sentences with expressions and all. While that may not seem like a lot to someone who hasn't gone through this process but let me say that the process is a marathon, not a race. And we are so proud of his progress. My son (3) loved it here and each time he goes he lights up. I am able to sit and participate in the sessions and each time I take away a little more. The current location is behind the Ace hardware area near Dutch brothers coffee. Dedicated parking spaces out front makes it easy to access. Excellent care by staff at Delta View Post Acute…read more I was a patient for 20 days in August of 2026, recovering from abdominal surgury. I required frequent care to empty my illeostomy pouch and general help. The care provided by the following personnel to accomodate my needs was greatly appriciated. CNA's - Ashley Aragon, Patricia, Paula & Saleem - During their shift assigned to me, were attentive to my needs, checked on me regularly and made me comfortable. Acctivities Coordinators - Maylon & Ana were very helpful and provided the enjoyable experience. Physical/Ocupational Therapist - Lampert, Jesus, Darius, Delaney were forcused on my needs and attended to my recovery. I had a comfortable recovery period and was able to walk with a walker when I left the facility.

Warned by the Kaiser placement person that I should not ask to be moved to another…read morerehab/post-hospital facility because "they're all the same," I was glad that, at least, Delta View was IN Antioch (where I live). That made visits from my husband easier on him, at least. I had a roommate who snored loudly, watched loud TV all night, even when asleep, it seemed, and there was nothing that anyone could do. I get that. The actual rehab staff was great; they really did help me to literally get back on my feet. Most of the nurses, LPN and CNAs were good, kind, caring, and patient. But a few bad apples, as they say. The TWO who, when called to help with a bedpan overnight, said, just pee in your diaper appalled me. It could take forever to get someone to answer a call button, and they let you know that, pretty much, they would not respond to buttons during meal times. Not sure if the placement coordinator from Kaiser was right, but I would not choose to go there again.

But in her best words, and ultimately in her last breath, she said; "Don't be sad! Rejoice in happiness and laughter. Be happy that the moments happened, Between You and I! Remember that! Amen".

She is ninety years old, suffers from Alzheimer's, walks with…read moredifficulty, needs help to go to the restroom, and the Bedford Center has played an extremely important role in her life. When we moved to Antioch four years ago, she had lost her interest in watching television, reading, and spent most of the day sleeping in a chair. I feared that she was about to become bedridden, and that I would have no choice but put her in a nursing home. This changed thanks to the splendid adult daycare provided by the Bedford Center, where she has been going for the last two years. My mother enjoys riding the bus that takes her there, loves being with other senior citizens, the activities that take place in the Center, and is always saying how good the staff is to her. I must also point out that the advice that the nurse and the dietitian have given us has been invaluable. Thanks to the Bedford Center, my mother now has a schedule and something to look forward to five days per week. Although she requires a great deal of maintenance, they have taken excellent care of her. They have improved my mother's quality of life considerably, and the chances are that, if it were not for them, she would now be living in a nursing home. In a nutshell, there is no question that the Bedford Center constitutes an important asset to the city of Antioch.
