I want to commend Laura and her team of therapists! My daughter has been going there for about 2 years, seeing Ms. Laura and Ms. Stacy for 2 hours weekly and it's through their hard work and perseverance my daughter is able to seamlessly transfer into her newest adventure Kindergarten. When Chloe first came to then Word Play, now Speech Jungle her vocabulary was very minimal, and while we still have a long road ahead of us, it's amazing to see the transformation that has taken place. I am eternally grateful for the way Speech Jungle handled the pandemic, through their quick actions we were able to seamlessly move to online therapy and now that we are back in person I consistently appreciate the extra precautions they take to keep my daughter safe. We see Ms. Lisa actively working to clean and organization the facility to ensure it is a safe and welcoming environment for all who enter. I appreciate that Speech Jungle is open to parent involvement and not only helps Chloe during her therapy sessions but consistently provides tips and tricks to reaffirm skills learned when she is home.

Normally my kiddo needs in person therapy, but we had no choice when the pandemic first hit. We moved to virtual. Our therapist, Angelica made it simple. She has been with my son for over 2 years and knows his personality very well. She has always been committed to doing her best work for MY child. The ownership has changed and that was seamless as well, and for the better. We are completely happy with Speech Jungle!

My husband and I learned that our son had a speech delay at the age of 3. Since he is my first child, I was very worried and concerned for him. When our insurance assigned speech jungle to us I really didn't know what to expect. When we met the owner, she was very kind and very detailed. She even explained other ways I can get resources for my son through the school district ( which I ended up getting approved for). My sons speech therapist, Angelica, is amazing! She is so good with him that at times he refuses to leave when it's time to go! Unfortunately, I am unable to bring my son myself to his sessions, but Angelica always keeps me informed by text messages! My son has only been going there for a year now and he has progressed dramatically, and I KNOW, it's because of Angelica and the team. Thank you so much!

Originally went to this Dr in Jan 2019 for injuries sustained after being rear ended by a semi…read moretruck while I was at a stoplight. Had MRIs done in 07/2019 which showed multiple disc herniations. After more treatment and still in pain was referred to surgery. More Clearer MRIs done 7/2020 shows spinal lordosis with straightening in cervical spine with retrolisthesis at C3-C4. 12 herniated discs throughout spine of 3 mm or greater. Lumbar lordosis with retrolisthesis in three discs. I was also diagnosed with a mild TBI after psych evaluation. And I have a bone spur at C3-C4 pushing into my esophagus too from the bone trying to heal itself. I have had three different Drs all give me the same prognosis. Surgery in cervical and lumbar. Problem is they don't believe it will be enough due to the lordosis and retrolisthesis. Horrible living with this kind of pain. Shoulders arms and hands are in pain. Legs and thighs radiate pain when lumbar flares up. I have a 6 mm disc herniation in thoracic that stings like electrical shock. Dizzy and nausea due to cervical spine damage and sometimes it literally feels like I'm having some sort of a heart attack is the only way I can explain it. I have to immediately lie down and sometimes I just can't catch my breath. Quality Drs (Dr Najafi, Dr Lo, and Dr Bakshian) have all said this is due to my injury AND my QME has apportioned 100% of my back, neck and head injuries to the accident. Had this Dr done just the basics and did an MRI he would have seen the injuries early on instead of claiming I wasn't injured. FOR GOD'S SAKE MAN I WAS REAR ENDED BY A SEMI TRUCK WITH TRAILER GOING 45 MPH WHILE I WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP! Please be very careful of this Dr. he literally is either very lazy and not willing to do his job or he literally lies to protect the insurance companies rather than his patients. Either way both are quite dangerous to his patients health and well-being.

Anyways, the order of wait time are based on the reason for visits and by appointment. That is why I am not mad for waiting since I had to do walk-ins. The staff here were nice and the equipments are new since it is a new office. AC on a hot day was nice, they had a TV, magazines, coffee, water fountain, chairs, and a bathroom. People who need to see the PT didn't seem to wait too long or at all. I was there for a pre-employment physical. Only bad thing I would say is that the nurse who was giving me a physical had fake acrylic nails.

This review pertains to office experience. The owner, Dolly Thomas, found me on Indeed asked me…read morequestions about my experience then asked about my hourly rate. Dolly found my hourly rate too high and decided not to continue with the interview. 1 week later, I received a call from her asking if I could start if she gave me a few more dollars per hour, I agreed to help her out - but wages in all of her administrative jobs there are very low and with inflation being so high right now you would think she would entertain a COLA ( cost of living) increase for her 2-3 year employees, but she does not. I told her that my years of experience in my field and the autonomy that is usually involved in my job are what make me a salaried person. She does not understand that for most salaried positions people get paid by the work they do NOT the time they arrive to the office. Dolly also didn't offer any training of the desk at all and said to me "I don't want to have to hand hold the person in this job, I'm too busy!" Honestly, there are times when an employer needs to sit with the new person to show them how they expect jobs to be completed. I should never have offered to take this job and I'm glad I left. Dolly puts high priority on the nurses who bring in the money to her business and really does not seem to care about rewarding / offering even a performance review of those who are administrative and have been with her longer. I asked the staff about performance evals and they said, "what are they"? There are 2 people in that office who are very loyal and they haven't received an increase. On top of that, she does not offer coffee or snacks for the hard working employees ....the only offering done by Dolly Thomas is some water that is pumped in from water bottles she gets in front of the super markets. There aren't any cups or plastic forks/spoons. Do I suggest you take a job here? No - because you will never be given the proper training because she doesn't have time and there is no room for increases. Basically there are better jobs out there that are local - the staff that are working for her now are losing out on good health plan benefits, snacks and drinks and additional holidays and PTO time off given by employers who care and feel the internal administrative staff should be rewarded too. r

Everything I had to say he basically just said I'll go tell your doctor when I just told him that I don't have one he wasn't listening to a word I had to say he was just very incoherent what I was saying. $80 for them to tell us we're fine totally laughable of an experience. On top of everything when we walked in there was absolutely no security at the door whatsoever then when we came in he started dogging us as if you've been watching everything the whole time. Not sure what's up with this facility? I get you're upset with people coming in because they're sick but I haven't been sick in a very long time so this is very unusual for me that's the only reason I had to come in is because my throat felt like it was closing in on me and I couldn't breathe but he didn't care to hear anything I had to say and just told me to take ibuprofen or Excedrin and sent me on my way. Yeah thanks for telling me to take a pill when I can't even barely drink water because my throat is so engulfed no Covid though so yay. When he came in he kind of stepped back at me and kind of threw his hand up as if he was like repulsed to even touch and be by me when he already knew that I was Covid negative. The lady at the front desk was very nice but she also sounded very sick and didn't seem like she should be there so for people to be treating me different because I'm sick and treat me like I shouldn't be there at a place that is built to see sick people I'm not understanding why I get looked at and treated as if I'm a monster. The one that walked us to the room she literally threw us in there and slammed the door in our face and said they'll be here in a minute bye... Oh my God the service is crappy here! Can't say I would actively look out going to this place ever again. Very unhelpful and very rude. I wouldn't recommend you to go to this place whatsoever try a different town city state anything but this place.

When we moved to Antioch four years ago, she had lost her interest in watching television, reading, and spent most of the day sleeping in a chair. I feared that she was about to become bedridden, and that I would have no choice but put her in a nursing home. This changed thanks to the splendid adult daycare provided by the Bedford Center, where she has been going for the last two years. My mother enjoys riding the bus that takes her there, loves being with other senior citizens, the activities that take place in the Center, and is always saying how good the staff is to her. I must also point out that the advice that the nurse and the dietitian have given us has been invaluable. Thanks to the Bedford Center, my mother now has a schedule and something to look forward to five days per week. Although she requires a great deal of maintenance, they have taken excellent care of her. They have improved my mother's quality of life considerably, and the chances are that, if it were not for them, she would now be living in a nursing home. In a nutshell, there is no question that the Bedford Center constitutes an important asset to the city of Antioch.
