Pricing! Overcharges for service. Charged me a $1000 for a brake job! Service is ok, I did go there for all my needs but not anymore.

Bay Area Tire and Service

Bay Area Tire and Service

Excellent and honest service which I really appreciated being in from out of town. My tire warning…read morelight had turned on and even though I filled the air multiple times at the Wawa nearby it seemed one of the tires was leaking because it was reading 10psi lower on the gauge within a few hours. I called around to multiple tire places and Bay Area was the only one that told me to come in now, everyone else was busy and told me to come later or the next day. These guys had me in and out in less than 20 mins confirming that my tire was fine and there was no hole or leak. They said the Wawa pump is notorious for messing up peoples tires even more and to not rely on the accuracy of that pump. So they sent me along the way without charging me! What great value. They also told me that in the future to just come in anytime and they will create a space for me in the garage and check the tire pressure and fill the tires with air anytime I need to, complimentary, instead of going to the Wawa. Really kind service!!! Thank you guys. Hopefully I will not have car issues here in the future but if I do and I am in town again, I will be sure to bring it to these guys.

I have been taking my car to Bay Area Point S in Cambridge MD for oil changes, tires and brakes for…read morefour years. The crew is pleasant, courteous and professional. If I am unable to leave my car for service, they propose a time for me to come in that will minimize my wait. I recently had my vehicle towed in after ALL the warning lights on the dash began flashing simultaneously. When the car arrived at the shop it was not acting up. The mechanics spent two days trying to replicate the issue. When the problem finally recurred, they determined it to be something that required dealer attention. I then had the car towed to Hertrich Honda and Bay Area did not charge me anything, stating they would not feel comfortable charging to diagnose something they were not qualified to fix. I give them 5 stars for honesty and performance. Carol H

I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Arbor for the excellent service. He was extremely helpful, professional, and even managed to fit me in close to closing time when he easily could have turned me away. I really appreciate him taking the time to help me and making sure everything was taken care of properly. I highly recommend Radial Tire Company to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and dependable service. Great company and great people!

The right rear tire on my car had a slow leak. For three nights I inflated the tire to 36 psi to…read morefind it at 19 psi in the morning. So I took the car to Radial Tire, where I have been a satisfied customer for years. It was near the end of a busy workday for them, but I was squeezed in. The boys in the back reported that they could not find a leak and asked if I had named the correct tire. I assured them that I had, and that was when Adam, one of the managers, took over the matter. He personally checked the front and back bead, the valve stem, and the tread. Seeing nothing, he then immersed the tire into a water bath. He did all of this with the two employees who first worked on the tire watching him, and he turning it into a teaching experience for them. Then, Eureka, he saw tiny air bubbles rising in the bath and was able to locate the leak. Of course, he asked the workers why they could not have found it (suggesting that they may have been in a hurry because their workday was almost over). He kept them there, after hours, while he extracted a two-inch finishing nail from the tread and plugged the leak. It wasn't easy and it wasn't quick, since the nail had no head on it; but he persisted. He also informed them that had they removed the tire from the wheel they could have easily located the nail. Adam was a hero in my mind, both as a skilled tireman, but also as a trainer or mentor. Not only did he go above and beyond what one would expect, but he turned it into a lesson for the workers, one which can only help to continue the stellar service that Radial Tire is known for. Five stars for Radial and ten stars for Adam!
