I've been shopping at Nugget for years, and I probably spend more here than I should. A huge reason…read moreis the people. The customer service is just consistently good, and it makes the whole shopping experience feel different. I also want to give a specific shoutout to Theo. I think he was hired pretty recently, but he's already one of my favorite people there. He has this hilarious, old-timey sense of humor that makes checking out way more fun than it has any right to be. Not curmudgeonly at all. Just quirky, dry, and genuinely funny. I find myself going to his line whenever I see him because I know I'm going to leave laughing. More people should talk about how great the staff is here. Theo is awesome, and he's a perfect example of why I keep coming back.

This is everything grocery shopping should be. The employees are super friendly, there are enough…read moreemployees there that you're not waiting around for anything, there's always someone bagging while the checker works, there are NO self checkout lines (I can't stand self checkout), and you don't have to enter your phone number into anything in order to get the sale prices. In the rare occasions when I'm not able to find something I wanted, it's because it's something so obscure I wind up having to either ordering it online or making a trip to some hidden specialty store in the Bay Area to get it. I've been shopping here for a couple of years. There's another grocery store that's five minutes from my house, but I drive the 20 minutes to shop here because the overall experience is so much better. Today's trip really stood out to me because of a couple things... while I was at the deli waiting for the clerk to work on my order, at least three other employees came up to me and asked if I was being helped. I've been to other stores where I've stood at a counter for literally 5 minutes, watching employees going out of their way to not acknowledge me. That never happens here. Then I was really taken aback by how the peppers and mushrooms were displayed. The fact that whoever stocked these mushrooms took the time to turn every mushroom cap side up and arranged all the portobellos the way they are speaks to a dedication to quality work. You can tell that in this store, nobody half-asses anything, and the employees take pride in what they do.

Im not used to where everything is in this grocery outlet but the man I spoke to was very nice and pointed me to every item I couldn't find and when I wanted nicer looking parsley because the stuff on the shelf was looking a bit limp he went to the back and brought out nice fresh bunches for me. The young cashier that was there was also very nice and friendly and helped me bag my groceries light so it would be easier to carry them up my stairs. Will definitely be coming back when I need to shop again to check out some of their deals.

I got bumped by some b*tches cart walking down the aisle without so much as an 'excuse me', and after going through the drama of joining their rewards club weeks ago, none of my purchase history shows up in their janky app. The highlight of today's sh*t show shopping adventure was my checker, 'Ashley' although the receipt says Peyton, who couldn't get the electronic checkout to accept my phone number, mumbled some incomprehensible jibberish about how if she 'goes back' she'll have to re-scan everything, and then turns to talk to another checker while I'm simultaneously entering my PIN and bagging my groceries.

The crunchiness mixed with the sauce perfectly. It had a sweet and sour flavor that I loved. There were a lot of different options to choose from too sushi, poke bowls, dumplings, salads, hot food, and more. Everything looked fresh and well put together. The deli area was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse. I was originally thinking about getting a poke bowl, but Roderick from the deli was telling me some of his favorite items and I ended up trying the sushi instead. Glad I did because it was delicious. The employees were all really nice and welcoming. Shout out to Roderick and Mary for making the experience enjoyable, and Teresa the supervisor was really kind as well. Only thing I noticed was I didn't see any soy sauce packets or wasabi out when I grabbed my sushi. Usually I see those available, so maybe they just ran out for the day. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. Definitely coming back to try the poke bowls next time.

We bought one whole bag of apples, unfortunately we can't keep the doctor away since the whole bag was rotten. How is that possible? We bought the ingredients to use the same day for salad. At least out of all the ingredients , the bread didn't disappoint me. I love the fresh bread here. It's a nice store, friendly staffs.

In the case of Crack'd its much much worse. The toffee is otherworldly and its impossible to put down. I only have experience with the Original Toffee. Its buttery crunchy taste with a slight smokiness and vanilla undertones is among the best I have tasted. The almonds help cut the sweetness and add a needed savor componenet to the whole affair. Its coupled with the semi sweet chocolate which for my palate is perfect. Full on milk chocolate would be too overwhelming IMHO. Its a small family run local business and has excellent customer service. They can be found locally at several grocery stores or at fairs and the like. Better yet they have a website that allows for super easy ordering. I'm not in the habit of making requests in reviews but I for one would love to see: Toffee with just the almonds Toffee with pistachios and lastly I throw down the gauntlet with some Honeycomb toffee!
