The Christmas lights I enjoyed for their variety and the size of layout. It could take a few hours to amble through everything without dragging on. The horse shows were fun to watch. Different performers were introduced along with their horse and would run/execute a particular program to display the skills they had learned in the duration of the camp. Seating for us spectators was along the side, making it possible to watch the horse and rider throughout their performance.

The bare wood walls and pitched ceiling added charm. The patio is huge and was greatly used. We sat outside every morning despite the cold with cups of coffee and the use of the chiminea. The North Cascades Learning tour guides were extremely gracious, and provided extensive insights about the land, lake, and dams. If you're wanting to attend this tour plan ahead to arrive on time, park exactly where it's designated to park (if you choose to park where it states no parking you are running the risk of car damage due too falling rock debris) pack allergy friendly snacks, and plan to explore the learning center, gift shop, and walking trails after the tour and lunch.
