If I could give this company 10 out of 5 stars I would…read more Another company came out and "diagnosed" an issue on their 2nd visit, and quoted us an up-in-the-air price for a "maybe this will fix it maybe it won't" service. Needless to say, I was on Yelp finding someone else for a 2nd opinion. Jennifer at Metz called me and messaged me right away to view video footage and get something scheduled. I was able to call, text, and email her as often or as little as I needed to and ALWAYS received a response. The communication was exceptional from start to finish. Someone came out that same week to take a look and give out a timely estimate. This company does offer financing, although we did not use it. The quote was less than half of what the other company had quoted us. We got a straight forward diagnosis, with honest pricing, and reliable service. The team came out on the day they were scheduled at the time they were scheduled. They were able to complete our project in only 2 days. Extremely efficient, and walked my husband through what they were doing and put us at ease with what still needed to be done. The pictures and reviews from myself and everyone else speaks for themselves. While I hope to never need more restorative services on my property (LOL), if I ever did, I would 10,000% use Metz again. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs it. Absolutely amazing!

It's really hard to find high quality service, especially when it comes to home projects…read more I'm thrilled to say that Revelation Plumbing absolutely excelled in every metric that matters to me. This is truly 5-star service. We had an issue where the pilot on our hot water tank went out and would not ignite. Revelation assured me they could check out my situation within 12 hours, and they provide these really nice text messages to give you precise updates on ETA, allowing the customer to plan their day accordingly. When Mike from Revelation showed up, he spent a little bit of time checking out the issue, and then correctly diagnosed it as an assembly failure. At this point, he laid out my options: replace the part, replace the tank, upgrade the tank (go bigger or go tankless). Mike gave me all the time in the world to sort out what I wanted to do, even allowing me to do some researching on the internet. When I had some questions, he gave me very honest, objective, fact-based responses, and he didn't try to sway my decision one way or the other. I really appreciate how he allowed me to perform due diligence and take my time. Considering that we'll be in the home for a while, I decided to take the plunge into tankless (on account of a recommendation from a friend who did the same thing), and the Revelation crew was able to show up the very next morning. What I appreciate most about the crew was not only their timeliness, but their attention to detail, their conscientiousness, and their workmanship. Luke spent a fair amount of time scouting the area and carefully planning how he wanted to execute this project. He even made some recommendations to me that I hadn't considered while checking in on my own preferences as well. It was almost as if the team had been working in their own house. Once they got started, they took every step very carefully, making sure that they did it right rather than simply got it done and rushed it. The end result was fantastic, and I have zero regrets going tankless. In fact, the first thing I did today was run the dishwasher and the shower at the same time with zero problems. A lot of places try to use high pressure sales or opt for quick-fix solutions that are budget-friendly but ineffective in the long run. There's also a very real communication problem with many businesses, failing to be timely or transparent. Some even have this "your job is too small for me" attitude. I didn't get this vibe from working with Revelation at all. They're one of those companies that have a way of making you feel like you're their only client. I consider Revelation to be part of my go-to "A Team," and given the quality of their work, how they source only the best brands and parts, and how they communicate every step of the way, it's a no brainer to use them for all of my plumbing needs moving forward. I'm so happy we crossed paths.

Our daughter's house in Pittsburgh had a gas leak that could be smelled. Gas company turned off…read moregas - HELP! Revelation Plumbing came out the next day. An 8' piece of (very accessible) pipe would need to be replaced with estimate of $2500!!! I asked how they could justify that price - they said, "we're not as expensive as some companies." I said how much do you get an hour? $400/hour! AND $450 for 8' pipe. We said, no way!" Had job done with new pipe - and inspected by gas company - for $800. Buyer beware of these guys. They also offered to replace our "stack pipe" - drain pipe from upstairs fixtures - for $14K! Why? Because of a leak at the bottom of the stack in the basement. To be fair, though outrageously expensive, they have done decent work for us in the past.

Dec 10th I hired Tom do some plumbing to a commercial Café. Excuses from start to finish ( except…read morehe never finished the job, OR even started the job ) I gave Tom 1000 in cash and he sent me a receipt...... He was waiting for quote on supplies, then his core drill broke, Then he says he had a family emergency in another state and was out of town for 2 weeks. It was a death in immediate family so I never questioned him. He sent me a text asking if he can have the rest of the deposit as quote was higher due to needing a permit. I was out of town at the time but my wife left him a check for $1600 in car for one of his guys to pickup. I figured he was out of town and may have been strapped for cash due to the Holidays. Then he texts me that he needs engineered drawing for the existing plumbing or no permit will be issued. I oblige and have them drawn up. Since then I have not heard a word. Emails, calls, and texts all ignored. As of 1/31 I had my lawyer do a search of the name on my receipt Valor Mechanical. Valor Mech only exists in MN. We dug farther and Tom isn't even registered with the HIC or the State under either name. We dug a bit further and found 2 bad reviews on the BBB. Its safe to assume that Tom is a crook and thinks he can get away with this. Little does he know that fraudulent or deceptive practices against consumers are prohibited by the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law and any amount over $2000 is a felony. Unfortunately for Tom he stole from the wrong guy. Next time he may want to research his victims to make sure he's not related to lawyers. I hope he enjoys prison food because I'm going in heavy and I wont stop

We hired Tom Adametz on November 20, 2018 to repair a bathroom sink and a bathroom whirlpool tub…read more Tom started the work and told us he had to order replacement parts. He gave us an invoice and we paid the total less the cost of installing the new parts. The invoice was for $484.00. Tom removed valve stems from our tub and sink leaving us unable to use our main bathroom. We paid for them and then waited for him to come back and complete the work. We made calls several times a week, sent text messages and emails but he would not respond. We offered to pick up our new parts and have someone else install them. He had both our old stems and our new stems. In an eight week period he only responded twice with excuses why he hadn't come back and promises with a date that he would complete the work. He would not show up and could not be reached. This went on for a couple months. At one point we contacted our friend who had referred him to us and found that our friend could not excuse him and couldn't understand why he was not completing the work. We finally, after sending him many messages and emails, realized that we had been scammed and have given up on him ever coming back.
