I had the meat lover's lasagna. It was everything you want in lasagna-- piping hot, flavorful, cheesy, and comforting. My husband had roasted tomatoes and basil with feta over angel hair pasta. (It's normally served over gluten-free pasta, but the server actually suggested subbing another pasta.) The depth of flavor from the caramelization of the tomatoes was astounding. It's rare to find a dish that's both light AND complex, but this one managed it beautifully. Wonderful experience, would've happily paid more than we did.

Family owned Italian restaurant that has been in business for many years. I had visited this place…read moremany years ago so this is a return trip. I ordered the Pollo Franciscano which is a chicken breast, prosciutto, and peas served in cream sauce. Mine, I found out later, was missing the prosciutto. It was served with assorted vegetables and spaghettini in marinara sauce. Spaghettini was cooked a little over al dente but the marinara sauce tasted fresh. The plate was very beautiful to look at with the vibrant colors of the vegetables in contrast with the main course and pasta but, flavor-wise, this meal was somewhat mid and just satisfactory. Perhaps the missing prosciutto could have contributed a needed flavor boost. Service was exemplary with a friendly staff. The dining room was comfortable. Plenty of parking in their lot.

When my husband and I found this place, we were in Heaven. The owner Mike is an sweet old man, and he cooks every dish. When I met him the first time we went to eat there, I told him the name of my family's restaurant and he went, oh I know that place. And he praised our restaurant. I told him very high compliment for you, because this is right up there with our place. Haven't been there in years because unfortunately, I've been in and out of hospitals every year, with something broken and then rehabbed for months. But I'm definitely going soon. Wow. This place has taken a huge drop in quality since the last time I was here…read more I don't completely get the idea of the restaurant being split down the middle, but aside from the hostess being confused on where we needed to sit, it didn't impact our experience. We were seated quick, received bread and drinks, and then we waited. After about 10 mins we were able to place our food order, thankfully we ordered an appetizer too because otherwise we'd likely have starved. First we ran out of bread and oil and waited... and waited... the waitress would appear to apologize and tell us she'd check on our food, but she'd walk away before we could ask for refills or more bread. This continued for exactly 1 hour and 20 mins. Finally I had one refill on my drink and we were given more bread. One loaf was soft and warm and the other was cold and rock hard. Another 10 mins later and ONE plate came. I imagined that they likely only had one chef who could make just one plate at a time... because we received our food one plate at a time over a 20 min period. There was no explanation, just multiple apologies and promises to check on our food. It truly didn't make sense because there were only 2-3 other tables on a weekday. The silverware was mostly dirty, there were flies and little bugs hovering around our table, and the nearly 2 hour wait was ridiculous. The food was decent, that's the only positive to our night.
