We didn't realize this when we walked into the Columbia store at 6:50 on a Thursday, but the male worker let us know with the quickness that we had less than 10 minutes to go before they closed! We made a beeline to the clearance area and scored a great deal on a pullover fleece and a four pack of socks. I think the manager felt bad for his emphasis on the store closing time as he really pushed the benefits of the rewards program and encouraged us to sign up as we were checking out, which I did appreciate. The warranty on the zippers is a nice offering so you should do the same if you stop in and purchase something.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Manager Maleena is the worst!…read more I love Eddie Bauer so I decided to stop into this location while on vacation. At checkout, the employee asked me if I wanted their rewards card. I politely decline and said "no thank you". The employee kept pushing the card and I continued to say "no thank you". She then tried to hand my the card, which I AGAIN replied "no thank you". The employee then called me the rude and began to yell at me because she said my responses were disrespectful. This caught me completely off guard as I was trying to be a respectful customer. I apologized to her, as I honestly did not mean to be disrespectful and I know how difficult retail jobs can be. She continued to mock me and yell at me in front of my family and the rest of the staff. I asked to speak to the manager and the employee revealed that she was actually the manager Maleena. I left the store without buying the merchandise. I typically do not write reviews but this was the worst costumer service experience I have ever had. Maleena was aggressive and beyond disrespectful to me. I will never shop at this location again and I will bring this up to cooperate as previous reviews show Maleena is a terrible representative for Eddie Bauer.
