When I checked out the woman told me the discount did not apply to Nike socks. Then referred me to tiny print at the bottom of the sign. There were no non-Nike socks in the box. This is false advertising and unethical. I asked for a manager and she said she was a manager. Then said she puts them out like corporate tells her too and "I just work here lady" I will not shop at Famous Footwear again.

Date of visit: February 13, 2025…read more I'm still shocked two weeks later that stores close here so early during the week. 7pm!? That's crazy talk. We didn't realize this when we walked into the Columbia store at 6:50 on a Thursday, but the male worker let us know with the quickness that we had less than 10 minutes to go before they closed! We made a beeline to the clearance area and scored a great deal on a pullover fleece and a four pack of socks. I think the manager felt bad for his emphasis on the store closing time as he really pushed the benefits of the rewards program and encouraged us to sign up as we were checking out, which I did appreciate. The warranty on the zippers is a nice offering so you should do the same if you stop in and purchase something.

I had the outrageously good luck to be staying in a hotel in Silverthorne close to this store and found everything I needed: mountain bike shoes, bike shorts, gloves and black trail running shoes that I'm using for work. I can't even tell you how long I've searched for simple black shoes that are comfortable that don't have clown colors. The Pearl Izumi fingerless gloves I have are over 17 years old; that tells you how good their products are. The service here is super friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I can't shop here more often.

Though we…read morespent most of our time at the Green and Blue Villages, so much real estate is sitting vacant. Gone are my faves, Gap, Sketchers and Nike (the latter, I could always count on finding the XL Elite Basketball Socks), however we were still able to find some super deals at Under Armour (Tech Short Sleeves for $12), Columbia (Sorel Boots on clearance for $30), and The Cosmetics Store (Clinique Happy at 50% off). It was a great day to walk, so we used the walking path that connects the villages. (Note that if you require mobility assistance, it may be best to drive between the villages). The public restrooms at the Welcome Center (Green Village) and next to Banana Republic (Blue Village) were clean, well stocked, and in good condition. My aunt even complimented the nice aroma (smelled like lemons). Not all stores had fantastic deals (Lucky Brand was still at $99 for a pair of jeans) but still nice to browse thru.

Date of visit: February 12, 2025…read more I was admittedly impressed upon driving up to the store given that it looks like no other Target I've ever seen on the outside, the cabinesque look of the entrance lending itself well to it surroundings. But all of that initial feeling faded away quickly when I saw that both trash cans outside the store were absolutely overflowing, reminiscent of the aftermath of a music festival, the garbage piled high and also surrounding the cans as though they had not been emptied in days. This sadly is the new normal for Target, the high standards from when I worked there long abandoned as they continue to try to chase Walmart instead of doubling down on the service that set them apart and made them the superior choice. While the inside of the store was definitely cleaner than the exterior, service was MIA (also their new normal) as not a single employee interacted or even looked at me while we browsed the mens, electronics, and grocery departments. The cashier was definitely not friendly, either; exactly why I lean towards self-checkout these days, it's harder for a computer to be rude to you!
