My son went to this dentist for a filling. She did not do it correctly and the tooth began hurting from infection soon after. when we went back she told me the tooth died and now would need root canal and cap. so we did that. I was told that if it ever broke to come back as it would be warrantied. It broke and now they are not honoring the warranty. the woman that handles the appointment booking is also not good. Do not take your children or yourself here for work. You might end up with this situation. They will not honor the warranty on your work even if they say they will. read more

I have a major fear of dentists growing up in Scotland where in the old days a visit to a dentist was tantamount to torture. I've had several good dentists here in Texas since leaving Scotland but today after a break of six years, on the advice of a friend I saw Dr Angela Phuong. I was greeted by her beautiful friendly front office lady. I then met her delightful caring assistants but never have I had a dentist do her own cleaning as Dr Angela did and with such care and gentleness. I left her office in such a high with clean teeth after having such a fun upbeat experience. Dr Angela will be my dentist for life and I'm so glad my friend recommended her. My only annoyance is that it's taken me this long to find the perfect dentist. read more

Dr. Angela Phuong is what is says on her window. Also, It does not say Caltex Dental in this strip center but it just has a sign in big white letters stating: DENTIST. I was late but her Mexican medical assistant called me on the phone and was so sweet after I said I'd be there in 10 min. A Mexican dental assistant was taking my blood pressure told me it was a good 119 over 89. I was relieved. Then, Dr. Angela came and started performing my dental work. I am then injected with something and numbed so I do not feel much during the procedure. The dental assistant temporarily puts this instrument in my mouth to suck up the spit and then puts this block to hold my teeth open while Dr. Angela does dental work. So, Dr. Angela was wearing a Covid-19 mask and so was the dental assistant. Great! Dr. Angela had dental instruments in my mouth to work on my mouth while saying things. It started when the medical assistant came from the front to say; Dr. Angela, the Tamales are here. Dr. Angela stops working but the dental tools are still in my mouth. The medical assistant asks Dr. Angela if she wants; chicken Tamales, beef Tamales, cheese Tamales, or maybe pork Tamales. Dr. Angela stopped. Her frail body had to think. She took a deep breath and at first said: Ohh, not today. Then she removes the dental tools from my mouth to think some more. The medical assistant talks more about these important Tamales. Then, Dr, Angela said that yes, she did want Tamales but sighs and exhales. She wants, pork Tamales. It's good she decided on what she wanted for lunch. The medical assistant did not mention: nachos, enchiladas, fajitas, chili con queso, quesadillas, beans and rice, tacos, mole, salsa, or even.... Tacos! But Dr. Angela really did want Tamales after all. Now was the next part, the medical assistant and Dr. Angela was trying to decide how to pay. Frail and hardworking Dr. Angela finally settled on: Zelle so she said she could pay the money today. Then, she sighs, looks at me and her eyes are smiling and she laughs and says; Sorry and puts the dental instruments back in my mouth to go on with the dental work. She talks to the silent dental assistant saying: Dental school is the most expensive of all. The medical. Schools. Someone I know when to dental school. She then spouts out the name of Ivy League school that everyone always says. She says: someone I know went to the Ivy League dental school and owes so much money. I have no comments or opinions on this because I did not pay for this person or persons like this from Vietnam or the Asian countries. Also, I made the choice to go to this dentist for dental work. This has never happened to me before. Plus I know people who work and went to college down near the border in the pricey medical field, and are actually of Mexican decent, but they have not talked about enchiladas and tacos or even Tamales... yet. With a smile, gasps and happily laughs to the dental assistant and says: We are talking a lot. We talk too much. She looks at my teeth with shock-glee and the dental assistant and says: it look good. It looked like nothing happened. But why I'm posting this review of her office is because, if you make your own Tamales somehow (do you all use a machine?) or are into this culture of food, bring some for this dentist! I might have stopped by taco bell if I knew she was hungary. She worked so hard all those years in school getting the great grades as an immigrant or child of immigrants from Philippines or Asia or Vietnam with nothing on the boat or plane. She so frail and innocent and tries very hard to be a dentist for maybe 15 or 20 years all the way from California. It's an honor to have a scholarship recipient as a dentist and please, bring her the tamales so she does not have to go with Apple Pay, Venmo or CashApp, Taco Bell's has sales that even law enforcement or whatever can afford so you do not have to make Dr. Angela's six figures to do great! read more

My favorite dentist of all time! Phuong Ly Vo DDS worked on my teeth for about 2-3 whole years and repaired every single thing wrong with them from a chipped tooth, cavities, root canal, braces, etc. After completing my braces treatment I now love my smile and now show my teeth when I take pictures. My mouth was a piece of work before meeting her. The best part was I didn't have to take any time off of work to see her because she was open on Saturdays when I was seeing her! (not sure if that's still the case since I've moved and it's been a while since seeing her) However, she is still my dentist of choice! read more

I been in America over 10 years and I never complain anything. But this time I was very very mad. My son came this dentist to take the x-ray and do the cleaning. I pay cash that time alsmost 200$. After that the dentist Phuong Vo said my son has one teeth need to do roots a nail and cover with the siver. I let her do for my son and she charged over 400$. Fill day after my son got infection that teeth. A week after I call her to make appointment for my son to come because he can't eat anything. When my son came she sail the food stuck in side and she give him the medicine for 2 week. She charged 75$ on that day.After 2 week my son take the medicine his teeth still infection. My son came there again, until this time, I still did not complain anything but the dentist said it not her faut, she said because my son body not healthy, and she give us another medication for a week and let us get appointment next week to take out my son big teeth with optio half prices. I was supper mad, I fell so bad with my son. If I don't bring him there to clean teeth so I will not lose the big teeth at 7 years old.
