Great spot for affordable Mexican food in NW Portland. In this economy, $30 for two filling dinners and a beer is pretty awesome. They have great combo deals with drinks and a cute patio. I got the taco plate with carnitas and asada and my boyfriend got the chicken burrito. Will be back! Super fast and friendly server too.

Service and food was great. The atmosphere is great, too (loved sitting outside on a warm day). The food is very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

pozole verde de pollo - delicious and hearty

Delicious food, great service, pleasant atmosphere, reasonably priced! We ordered chicken tacos at $2.50 each on Taco Tuesday, 1 fish taco, pozole verde de pollo, and a quesadilla with chicken. For 3 people, the bill came to $34.95 with cash or $33.94 with credit card. We were visiting from out of state, so great there isn't a sales tax in OR!

Fish tacos, sides of rice & beans. Enchiladas on the far side. Best mango margarita I've had in ages!!

We always wanted to come here cause we pass it all the time and finally made an effort to come. Soooo glad we did!! I love Mexican food (so picky honestly) and very happy with the whole experience. We came for the burritos but ended up getting fish tacos & enchiladas. So delicious!!! Also got a mango margarita 12/10 and a pacifico on draft yum. The service was great and food came out so fast! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating so we sat outside on this beautiful day. They play music and it's a nice vibe :) I highly recommend coming here (especially if you're picky w/ your Mexican food) We are coming back for burritos next (they also have breakfast!!) keep you updated!

I ordered the Taquitos De Potatoes with a side of rice. My spouse went with the fajitas, and my son went for the nachos. All three meals were good. Fresh ingredients, quick service, and the restaurant is in a great location. It's nice and clean with plenty seating. Prices were great as well. Definitely would recommend and return!

Stopped here for Happy Hour. Chips, salsa, guacamole and drinks are outstanding. Will definitely be coming back. Excited to have found this place.

The service was great. Food was served quickly and the patio area is great for the summer. I was surprised by their beer selection, as they serve Estrella which is a hard beer to find. Tacos were good although small, so I recommend getting some sides. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito to go. 6/10 burrito. Very average, nothing special, I even added tomato, lettuce and sour cream. You did get a lot of bang for your buck however. $12.75 for a chipotle size burrito and if you are starving and just want the basics of chorizo, egg and rice, than this is for you. I ate the whole thing because I was hungry but I would not go out of my way to get it again. No vegetarian options available FYI. Quick service, only took 5 min. The atmosphere looked nice, and maybe more lively in the evenings but during the weekday at 11 am, no one was there.

Cute new mexican place. Good food. Great margs. $13 for two tacos and a marg? I'll be here all day! Wish the menu has more info but I asked the waiter and a) happy hour is only those two deals but it runs all day every day and b) all cocktails range from $8.50-$10.50 Will absolutely be back soon :)

I've been excited to try this place out since they recently opened. They did not disappoint. Their tequila and mezcal selection was solid. The server/bartender made excellent POG mezcal margarita by request. I did not complain. I ordered a 'Surfin California burrito' to go with my drink. The burrito is a good portion. It's filled with shrimp and carnes with potatoes. I'm not one for potatoes in my burritos, but there was just the right amount of it, and it was cooked perfectly for my liking. I will be back to try some of their other offerings.

Today my wife and I enjoyed scrumptious Tacotes, one chicken and one Bok Choy with house made salsa. Extra side of yummy and creamy black bean frijoles with sour cream, butter, tortillas. Instead of desert, the Mezcal, chile and lime was refreshing. Yes, the food plated looks so good, I am inspired to dig in. I was excited to go here as I had been meaning to visit for at least 6 months. I wasn't disappointed. This taqueria is the real deal, and very authentic. I also appreciate it's LGBTQ owned, and like to be inclusive in how I spend money. The tacos are amazing I had two there, and took two home. They were all delicious and not one disappointed. Their taco menu is very extensive, and it's nice that they have a lot of vegetarian options as well. One of my favorites was the one with mole ,and poblanos, also the chicken one, also the carnitas. Flavors so rich and satisfying. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Extremely quick service which I love. Even though I only speak a little bit of Spanish. I tried, and they were very welcoming. They are fluent in Spanish. I knew it was an authentic taqueria when I heard a native spanish speaker speak Spanish at the counter. I don't want to leave out their drinks as they have quite a selection both alcoholic, and non alcoholic. I tried the horchata, which was amazing. I have been craving Pozole for a long time, and they had it as a special chicken with green sauce, and pork and a red sauce. Both simply amazing and a great deal. This restaurant is very reasonable, and you get quite a lot for the money. Last but not least I can't forget the ambiance which felt very authentic, and reminded me of being in a Taqueria in Mexico or Southern California. the place is decorated very thoughtful with a lot of candles, and many shrines. They also have a love of Mariah Carey and saw many photos of here in the restaurant. They have both outdoor seating and indoor seating. A lot of plants outside which all seem very happy and well cared for. I love this place, and will be going back for sure. The place is very casual which I appreciate. I have had some meals at the bar where the bartenders were genuinely engaged knowledgeable and happy to walk you through their agave list which only enhances the whole experience. I will be honest and say that the service can sometimes lean into the typical Portland vibe of aloof and uninterested but there have also been moments especially at the bar where the staff really shines and makes you feel welcome and taken care of.
