It made me feel like I was in a Cars movie, driving down the scenic California mountains. Our guide, Caine, was considerate and sweet as he navigated us through the road safely. We were given helmets that each included a headset to talk to the group on our ride. He was through guide as he informed us the next upcoming break or if there were bicyclist, cars, motor cyclists up ahead. Would highly recommend to anyone this was such a fun way to explore and experience a different side of California! Majestic Mountain Adventure (3 hours): There are several breaks throughout the journey. On the way up the mountain there are 2 breaks before we reached the top of Mount Baldy. At Mount Baldy, you get about 15-30 min break to go to the restroom, explore the small part of Mount, visit the inside of the restaurant, or walk along the road to take pictures. On our way down there were about 1-2 breaks. It feels pretty fast even though you're going around 20-30 mph up and down Mount Baldy. So don't be afraid to let your guide know that you need the group to slow down or coordinate on the speed. On our last break down the mountain, Caine passed around some sweet treats before we concluded the trip. Tip: Two people party. I would recommend sharing one ride and switch on the breaks. I would say that there was plenty enough time to experience driving a Ryker from the three hour journey. It's hard to experience the breathtaking views as you're very focused staying on the road. read more

Had an absolute blast riding Rykers through the mountains! These things are insanely intuitive, easy to ride, and feel like you're driving a sports car! The trip began at CaliRide headquarters where the check-in process is super convenient. Check out the merch, take some pictures, and have some coffee while your group checks in. After everyone is geared up, you mount your Ryker, watch a safety video, and have an opportunity to get a feel for the ride on a practice route. Once everyone is comfortable with maneuvering, which by the way, is super easy (acceleration from the right handlebar, brake on the right side like a car), you're off to your ride through the mountains! We stopped at a couple picturesque locations on the route, had lunch at Mount Baldy Lodge Restaurant (great menu), and had an amazing ride back. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an adventure in the area! I'll definitely do this ride again! read more

Had such an incredible day riding the brand new CanAm Rykers up and down the backroads of Angeles National Forest! The team at CaliRides was extremely helpful and provided us with a wild adventure! I was a little nervous to drive up the winding roads at first, but quickly realized how easy it was to drive the Ryker. Feels like you're driving a small car or go kart. Anyone could do it! We had headsets on our helmets so we could talk to the group and guides throughout the ride which had us laughing the entire time! First time I saw one of these Ryker 3 wheel, futuristic looking bikes I was hooked on trying to ride one. The best part about this trip is that you don't need any experience to ride these bikes. After the informational video and guided practice course around the facility I quickly realized how simple these were to ride. Personally easier than driving a car. Throttle with your right hand and break with your right foot. It's that simple. No clutch to worry about or shifting gears. Before I knew it I was cruising through the mountain roads heading up to Baldy Village. After a stop to take some great scenic pictures, we continued on the Mr Baldy Village for a nice relaxing stop, some good coffee and an amazing bowl of chili. The way down the mountain was even better than the way up. It didn't take long to feel like we had been riding for years. Can not wait to bring the whole family back on this trip. Last thing worth mentioning is how thorough our guide was. Having state of the art bikes was great, but the state of the art helmets and intercoms throughout took any worries I had away. This experience was so much fun! I went with my boyfriend and his parents and we all had a blast. Before going on a practice loop around the building, you watch a video on safety and how to use the Ryker, and your guide leads you out of the city and up the Angeles National Forest which took some time but it was really nice to be exposed with the air blowing at all times. Everyone's helmet had a microphone and hearing system so that each person can communicate with each other as well as call out any oncoming vehicles on the ride there (because we would not be able to talk without it on the ride). There were a couple spots we took and our guide offered to take pictures for every guest. We rode all the way to a little town in Mt. Baldy and had about 40 minutes to eat breakfast at a nice restaurant nearby. The ride back was fun as you mostly went downhill and it felt like you were in Mario Kart haha. Overall great experience! I was passenger in the back and I recommend bringing gloves because you will be gripping the hand grips behind you a lot so you don't fall off! My palms were a bit sore after. I had an amazing time on the Can Am Ryker. I am an avid motorcycle rider and let me say it is nothing like that. It is so easy to ride, which made it very enjoyable to check out the scenery while going up Glendora Mountain Road. We were guided in every aspect of the ride which made it effortless. This was one of the most fun things I have done. My wife and i did the all day ride. The Rykers are easy to ride ( though the driver [me] had some issues, rolls eyes in embarrassment). Mt. Just finished the Mountain ride this morning. Can't say enough good things about this ride. Brian our guide was outstanding. Prior to the ride he gave us an overview of what to expect during the ride. Before departure he gave us a crash course on the operation of the Can-Am Ryker we were going to be riding, which was really comfortable and easy to operate. The ride and scenery was outstanding. When I booked this adventure I found out that this was the same company that also created the Jet Ski 2 Catalina adventure which we did 4 yrs ago and loved every minute of it.
