Bought a trailer in November, come February I when I'm unhooking the trailer from a long day of work I notice that the trailer lights weren't working, went to check the wiring and one of the wires were ripped out, so I checked and it there was a split already on there, meaning it was bought like that and it had already been replaced. I hung up on them after 7 minutes of going back and fourth Called and I think some guy named Jeff answered told him what happened and he pretty much told me that the trailer is under warranty but since it's Friday they don't have time to fix a 5 minute fix that they already fixed prior on selling the trailer so after going back and fourth with him for about 7 minutes he told me I can't "dictate" on how they run their business. They sure promise a bunch of things when buying the trailer, in fact when I was there I was told if it was a quick fix I can bring it in but now things change. Jeff also advised since they only have 1 person has their mechanic it's hard for him to get to all the jobs which is understandable, but what am I suppose to do? Drive the trailer without working light and when I get pulled over tell the cops "I'm sorry the trailer is under warranty but since the dealership only has 1 mechanic I have to wait til next week to get it fixed". So now I have to fix it myself since I have jobs Friday-Sunday. I wouldn't buy from them again, if I can return the trailer and go elsewhere I would. Stay away!!! read more

It was great, not a lot of interaction but they were responsive and I got my info right away

What a brand new trailer from California trailers in Murrieta in January of 2025. They sold me on a warranty for tires and Theft, of which I paid thousands of dollars extra for. Not even a month later they disappeared and do not answer the phone or messages at both locations, Sacramento and Murrieta. I call constantly Sacramento only to get a voicemail is full message. I have no idea how to redeem my tire warranty as I've already had an issue with tires on the trailer. read more

Very workable management. Lisa accommodated me in every way possible. Very fair with price and was polite and respectful throughout the process. I will absolutely be returning for my future trailer needs!! read more

Buyers beware!!! Stay away from this place. They will advertise cheap prices to get customers in, but at the end they tried to add all kinds of extra ilegal charges. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well as DMV. Bait and switch!!! Buyers beware. read more

Lisa did me a huge favor when she refused a check from our family trust, even though it is run as a business and checks are professionally printed, even though I said they could deposit it and I would pick up trailer after it cleared. So I went to Sac Valley trailers and for a few hundred extra I got a much better dump trailer. Better hydrolics, better design, included ramps (worth the extra cost alone), free spare tire. So much happier. Obviously they are not motivated to sell as they had three units on site. So thank you Lisa. read more

Great people here. Looked up info on a trailer on their website (easy to navigate). At the office, Everyone was friendly and helpful. Mindy was able to get all the paperwork done, and I was out the door with the trailer quick. read more

Came in to buy an enclosed cargo trailer this week. Chris helped me choose a size that would work for my application and I settled on a Haulmark 7x16' Transport with the UTV package. He and Rita helped me get financed and he even installed the electrical hookup o I neeeded on the truck to get on the road. Overall the sales team was professional and very helpful, plus they had better prices than any of the other dealers I visited. Thanks for the help! read more

I ordered a custom car trailer here. Got everything I wanted and got quoted 14k... a quote, not an estimate. Signed a contract. When the trailer showed up 6 weeks later the price was 16k. They blamed it on Covid and supply line issues. I showed them our signed deal. They said it was out of their hands. $2000 in 6 weeks?!? Well, I won't be coming back here again. read more

Sorry place to buy a trailer. Lisa at the front desk sold the trailer from underneath me after telling me I did not need to put down a deposit. Just a sad place to spend money. I know for sure I will buy my Company trailers somewhere else. read more

I called to get a price on a cargo trailer roof vent. I was told they would call me back to give me a price on shipping and never heard anything. They shipped the part out anyways and now I'm on the hook for unreasonable shipping. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY IVE EVER MET. Stay clear of them!! read more

We needed an enclosed trailer quickly so I got on line and (luckily!) came across California Trailers in Sacramento. I emailed an inquiry, Rita quickly got back to me and after a couple of emails we nailed down the trailer we wanted at a price we could live with. We picked it up the next day and was pleasantly surprised at the ease and professionalism of the staff. Over the past ten years, I have purchased three big rig trucks (tractors), six trailers for those trucks, a couple of cars and Harley Davidsons. Never have I had such a smooth transaction purchasing a vehicle/trailer/bike! Chris Johnson and Shylea were absolutely on target with what we needed and what we didn't know we needed (thanks for the suggestion of the B&W Hitch, Chris - it will work perfect with our truck!). Paperwork to rolling out with our new trailer took less than an hour. I only wish they handled big rig trucks and trailers! Thank you Chris, Shylea and Rita-we will definitely refer you to anyone we know that is looking for a trailer! read more

My husband and I purchased a trailer this week for our business Brew To Go and had a FANTASTIC experience. Our sales guy, Chris, was spectacular. He was personable, knowledgeable, honest, and not salesy. He had our best interest in mind, educated us on the trailer and made sure we were well taken care of. Also the gal that did our paperwork was friendly, fast and accurate. When we purchase our next trailer this will be our first and only call. GREAT job and Thank You ‼ read more

OSI trailers were very helpful and accomodating folks at the Sacramento store. They sell and repair cargo trailers, utility trailers, car hauler trailers, and accessories for the trailers and towing. They did some modifications while I waited so that I would be able to have an easier time towing a trailer I bought from them. The modifications was good work, the labor was a bit excessive in pricing, though, considering that there was some wasted time (which is why 4 and not 5 stars). But, that said, they're willing to work with the customer as to the customer's needs and wants, and go out of their way to find answers to questions where they might not have the detailed answers handy. They also have a branch in Eureka CA, but that particular location sort of shrugged me off as a customer, so, after researching many different dealers and trailer brands, and waiting for information from the Eureka branch that never came, decided to contact the Sacramento store, got my answers quickly, and to do my business there. I do understand that the business has since changed hands and the name. read more

Oh boy... where do I begin? So I call in last Saturday to ask if they had a hitch for my trailer and might I suggest in training your employees to answer questions properly? Or actually get familiar with what y'all are selling. I regret driving out and dealing with the staff, don't waste selling anything with the attitude you are selling it with. I do not recommend going to California Trailers, TRUST ME it's best to drive the extra mile reading other reviews I can see a pattern here..... terrible customer service. Sounds like white boy with an attitude gotta go if you ask me. read more

California Trailers, Very Very poor customer service. Went to look at a trailer for business and one for pleasure. Had to special order the business trailer. They said it would be 10 weeks and gave me an eta. Put down 25 percent. The date came so I calle d them and was told trailer was inbound and would arrive in 4 days. So I drove to tucson from sac to pick up a very expensive peice of equipment. Upon arriving back in sac called them after leaving two messages to confirm. And was told the trailer had not even left the plant. Now I have a very expensive peice of equipment sitting out in the elements and no place to put it and they will not call me back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM VERY VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THERE SALE PITCH. read more

They are totally dishonest. Bought two trailers cash money. Took one home sent my delivery driver a week later to grab the other. He dropped it off at my yard and upon inspection it had a tweaked jack with old rusty broke welds.(not new) I called and explained the situation and was told your driver did it and the trailer left in "perfect" condition. My driver had to prod them to put the spare tire on I purchased also. I explained the situation and provided photos via email to back up my findings. got the the classic shoulder shrug response of " your driver did it, I'm a professional and would never damage a trailer while moving it." When you pay at this dealership you get the good ol' taillights warranty. They didn't give two shits that had a BRAND NEW trailer from them that I have to have the jack re installed on. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER.....THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND WILL GIVE NOTHING IN RETURN. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.....BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE read more

This was by far the worst experience buying something of this value or even something less expensive. If you are looking for customer service skip this place as you will be disappointed. We missed out on the trailer we wanted from here as the sales person doesn't respond to all her emails. She even admitted she skipped opening and responding to my email. When we bought the trailer the exterior was filthy along with bird crap. For some reason my fuse was blown for some of the trailer lights, we tipped the service tech as he hooked up a trailer buddy to check all the trailer lights before we left. California Trailers should invest a little money in an assortment of fuses as I wasn't the only person with this same problem the tech said. The battery for the break away brake system had 2.3 volts. So if the trailer came disconnected on our way home it would not have activated the brakes. We heard noise while driving couldn't figure it out after adjusting the in truck brake controller about 20 times it still seemed to make the noise. We decided to turn around on our trip and the brake controller was set so low someone flagged me down to let me know my right rear trailer tire was smoking. I got out and looked it's completely melted tread on one tire only. I called California Trailers and keep getting the run around. First they said I must have had brake controller improperly adjusted. I've towed 28 foot car trailer with my truck with zero problems. Now when I call back they say they have no service technicians to look at and complete the work. I've called the Haulmark service number and left my name and number several times with zero call backs. My truck got 7 miles to the gallon while towing once I did the calculations after I unhooked the trailer. I think the trailer brakes where hanging up the whole time. I normally get 15-17 on the freeway not towing and 10-12 when towing a 8 foot longer trailer. So here I sit can't use my trailer and need to be out of my storage unit. I'm going to have to rent a trailer. I see why California trailer doesn't have the time to fix this trailer as they have WAY TOO MANY TOYS filling up their shop. Stay away you where warned. I needed a trailer is why I went here, now I still have no trailer. read more

Very bad service and the quality In trailers is terrible... our trailer broke down the first day we bought it and they would not honor the warranty... Not to mention we bought this trailer $10,645 cash... they really treated us like crap... Do not ...and I repeat.. do not ever buy from this company... read more

Completely dishonest! The customer service ends when they take your money. They held my registration up from submitting to DMV in a timely manner and never followed up on a vibration issue on my brand new Haulmark. Not sure why they took over 2 weeks to submit the sale record to DMV and then misstated the sale date. Just plain bad business from start to finish. read more

Bought my trailer from Chris at California Trailers. What a nice guy. He made sure the trailer was completely suited for my needs.

DO NOT EVEN COME NEAR THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!! Words can not explain how unbelievable my experience with this company was today. The sad thing is everything I am stating is the truth. I have never in my life been so insulted and thank the good Lord above I was not even a customer so from the experience I am about to explain in detail I will let you decide on your own. I commute to Sacramento for my company, cars were lined up and down the street which is common in this industrial business area, I went to my car to grab my iPad for a PowerPoint presentation I was performing , when I see a guy from this company to my right he's looking creepily into my car , I am going to be honest , my classic Mercedes I am restoring is not cosmetically the nicest car on the road but sentimentally it means the world to me, the worker from the trailer shop was making me feel very uncomfortable by staring strait at me in my car for some strange reason. My car is registered , I pay my tags , insurance and I am legally parked against a curb doing nothing wrong. It is not illegal to sit in your car in California. I look to my right and the worker has been staring in my car the whole time. I was so creeped out I wanted to call the cops on the guy. I wouldn't bring my son around this guy. I get out after combing my hair and then another one of the guys workers comes out Staring at me, I start walking back , and he looks at me, flashes his tattoos and says , hey what's up? What are you doing, I said what does it matter to you ? He says they have had a lot of breakins in the area, I'm thinking what in the world does that have to do with me? I'm beginning to feel so offended possibly because of my Italian and Irish decent , that's the only thing I can think of, I have an AA degree , I have my bachelors degree from a Law School and I have worked for a Fortune 500 company since I was 21 I am now 30, just my background and it's amazing how they treated me just by looks alone. I have never even had a speeding ticket. I go back to my company and next thing you know 2 Sacramento police officers are the area looking for the owner of the classic Mercedes , I moved the car out of respect even though no one owns the sidewalk or curve in this business area especially this trailer company , all of the employees come out and are just in awe at how this company was so unprofessional , the cops were so irritated , getting so fed up with people making these bullcrap calls he said. The worst part about it is the owner or worker whoever he was lied and said I was cussing them out and my car was there over night ???? I arrived there at 8 am. Just wow . In my Italian culture here in Stockton California respect is everything . I have never felt so disrespected in my life. read more
