We couldn't be happier with the quality, colors and look of our Norman shades, but the professionalism, care and responsiveness of both Paulo and the installer, Gerrardo, is where they really earn their stripes. Paulo is as likeable, honest and no pressure as they come and he absolutely delivers on what he promises. The consultation was so smooth and productive, we didn't bother speaking to any other company. Gerrardo is a master installer and both went to great lengths to treat our home with the same care and respect as we do. We had a couple of very minor issues and questions along the way and everything was handled promptly and to our complete satisfaction. I had a great experience working with California Shade for my window treatments. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Kenny, the designer, came out with samples, helped guide me through the different options, and made thoughtful recommendations based on my space and style preferences. He was incredibly responsive, patient, and accommodating with all the questions and changes I had throughout the process. I ended up choosing linen roller shades for my sliding glass door, split tilt shutters for my two large dining room windows, and dual hung bifold shutters for the living room. It's rare to find a company these days that offer a small town feel. Most are automated or you have to use chat to get someone to help you. I was anticipating the standard when I called to inquire about replacing my shades. What I got however, was a sales rep who made me feel like I was talking to old friend up the street. He was very personable, knowledgeable and very patient. For me, it's all about the customer service leading up to the install. I was happily surprised to find that the installer was also very personable. They did a fantastic job installing my blinds, cleaned up after themselves and they made sure I was 100% happy before they left. I'm really glad I went with them over their competitors. I am absolutely thrilled with my new curtains from California Shade!! My home is very earthy in colors but I have been wanting a curtain for my Large living room window, something with a pop of dramatic color and I love it so much! It has completely changed the look and feel of my living room! The curtains we chose are stunning! The material is synthetic but looks like a linen, which is easier to clean, yay! Behind it we have a beautiful sheer so when I want some privacy with light I can have the best of both worlds. We finally went and ordered shutters from California Shade! We selected several companies to get quotes from. In the end, we chose to go with the company most suited our needs. They were not the most expensive or inexpensive, but they were definitely knowledgeable and explained the best way to configure what we needed in our space.
