I just purchased my Tesla Model 3 and knew the paint Tesla uses is soft and prone to chips and scratches. Sorry Yelpers you failed me here. I am sorry to tarnish the stellar reviews of this business, to be frank they did a half ass job on my car. It was at the end of the day and they spent a little over an hour on my vehicle. It seemed as though they just wanted to wrap it up really fast and go home. I have had another mobile detailer spend three hours detailing for the same price, and he barely missed any thing. Not what I expected from this particular detail. I took Armor All wipes and removed pitch black dirt that was embedded in the plastic above the back seats. They clearly didn't go over certain areas and I wasn't treated the same as the other customers on here... No thanks! I will not call again. read more

Wow! Where do I start? James returned my call promptly and said that he would come over and give an estimate for our older Cadillac Escalade which is the transportation for our three older and very hairy Labs. I cringed when he opened the car as it was so bad. He and his helper explained the packages and I chose the Gold Package thinking it might be the best for making the car look "better". They came at 8:30 AM and set up a table with a lot of bottles on it. The method that James uses is eco-friendly with no water! Very neat amd tidy. Throughout the day, I kept going outside thinking they were done. They just kept on cleaning and polishing. At 6PM, they were done! OMG! The car looked better than when we bought it. All scratches buffed out, two coats of wax, the car paint feels so soft and smooth. Not one dog hair inside. I would recommend them without any hesitation. James went to school and learned his craft and takes immense pride in the finished product. We will call them on a quarterly basis. Money well spent and I wish them much success! read more

I was referred to California Reflection and the recommendation seemed to be over board. "They are amazing...our car looked brand new...unbelievable...never seen a detail that was this good..." I am usually tentative when referrals are this good because you never know. Is it their relative? Do they get commission on referrals? I had my car detailed and it took longer than I expected. Like the other reviewer I kept checking in because I am used to a one hour detail at most. Well, it was AMAZING...my car looked BRAND NEW...UNBELIEVABLE...I've never seen a detail that was THIS GOOD! Then I put them to the test. I had my wife get her SUV detailed. This is the SUV that is used on long family trips, taking kids to school, after school activities, etc. In other words, the SUV was destroyed. Spilled juice, milk, food embedded in every crevice. Not only does he do wonders on your paint, but he is a really great guy. He came around the first time to give me an estimate, a couple of days later he came back to fix it, but found out it was harder than he had first thought. James and his assistant Diego were initially referred to me by an extremely well respected owner of an auto upholstery shop in Palm Springs. My first contact with James was regarding a 2009 Nissan GTR that I had recently purchased. The vehicle was subjected to the harsh desert environment in the state of Arizona prior to my buying it and knowing it was going to spend 100% of its time in the Coachella Valley I wanted a thorough detailing. The fact that the vehicle was red only added to the need for a complete detail both inside and out. When I contacted James he asked me to bring the car by anytime during normal business hours so we could discuss what I had in mind and subsequently what he recommended for the GTR. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by James. He is, without a doubt, a consummate professional. Both in person and over the phone. As I wasn't well versed on automobile detailing I deferred to him as to what he recommended. He provided me with several options; basically dependent on what I was comfortable spending and my budget. I found his honesty to be above reproach. I opted for the most comprehensive detailing package as I knew the car was very much in need of just such a detail. I dropped by periodically when I happened to be in the area to see how things were moving along. Given that I had a second vehicle at my disposal I had initially told James and Diego to spend whatever time they needed on the car. When the day arrived to pick up the GTR I was quite literally in awe of what James and Diego had accomplished. The vehicle, while being 10 years old, looked as close to new as I could imagine. Needless to say I was extremely pleased. Since then, I have had James and Diego detail one other car for me; albeit a 2018 vehicle that needed only a minor detail. Nevertheless, it turned out very well. Today I dropped off a 2019 vehicle I happened to purchase last week. This car is going to require more work as the dealership was remiss in maintaining it while on their lot. I'm looking forward to picking it up in a few days as I know it will look incredible. A few other items I should mention regarding James and Diego. They both make it a point to stay on top of the latest products available by regularly attending continuing education courses. What other auto detailer can lay claim to this level of interest in the detailing industry? California Reflection detailed our old 1991 BMW 325ci yesterday. They absolutely transformed our car from a sad little old car into a just rolled off the assembly line classic. This is quite a feat for a car with over 250,000 kilometers and over twenty years old. The guys arrived at our home early on Friday morning and spent a full 8 hours, for a total of 16 man hours, working on Beemie. The carpet was shampooed and now looks new, the sadly neglected leather upholstery got the full treatment - what they did is nothing short of a miracle. They also did a great job on covering up many of the scratches in the paint with their paint correction application. The dash is now gleaming. We've had cars detailed in the past, but Beemie was a major challenge. Just purchased a used 2014 Chevy Volt at a local dealership. The finish looked ok but it felt like it was starting to feel 'thin'... and it seemed to attract dust like a magnet. I was concerned that this was not going to fair well in the Desert. I called a few dealerships to get some pricing on a Cilajet sealant application, but the quotes were way more than I wanted to pay for a used car. I'm a little OCD when it comes to my cars. I purchased a brand new Black Mitsubishi EVO in late Jan 2013. I refused to let the car dealer wash it as I didn't want any damage to the paint. The very next day I had James perform a full detail on it. The paint looked great from factory, but afterward it looked incredible. He really brought out the depth of the color. I've James come out a few more times to keep the paint looking fresh. He has also detailed my 2 other cars. He takes great pride in his work and really treats your car as his own. In my experience seldom have I been motivated to take the time to write a review for services received. Today however was such a positive experience that I felt obligated to share. My need was for scratch removal on a 2012 Honda Pilot (my fault) due to an accidental side swiping!! The owner James responded promptly to my phone call, came over to do an estimate and set a repair time for the following morning. They arrived promptly at 9am, calling 30 minutes prior to confirm, provide the scratch removal service and even treated the leather interior as I had requested. The end result was you could not even tell where the prior scratches were and the leather looked as new. They also cleaned the wheels, treated the tires and cleaned the exterior of the Pilot it was turned back to me looking beautiful! Their professionalism, dependability and politeness was exceptional.
