    Pizza making area and oven
    Suzie A.

Located in Mililani Shopping Center next to Longs Drugs, has a nice open floor plan and plenty of outdoor seating. Lose a star at host stand because when hubby and I walked in, he was on the phone and turned away from us instead of smiling and saying just a moment or acknowledging us in any way. Luckily a young lady came up (also a server) and cheerfully sat us and granddaughter by the kitchen, which she loved as she could see all the action, especially the pizza connoisseur. Server gave her a keiki menu with crayons and came back to take our order. It was still happy hour (3-6 pm) so hubby got a draft beer at the PAU Hana price. Hubby ordered the braised beef rib ragu and loved it! I tried and meat was tender with perfect amount of pasta and sauce. He would order it again and I will to! I tried the newer steak salad and it was a disappointment. Not a lot of steak in it -five tiny pieces- and too much dressing. Also a small edamame was in it but only one so not sure if it was a mistake or supposed to have? The price was $19.99 for a half serving. CPK still starts you off with the free delicious bread and vinegar/oil which we love! Our server was very good- she made sure we had what we needed, checking back on another beer for hubby, and clearing plates, pouring water, asking if we'd like dessert. Fun for kids to watch pizza being prepped- tossing of dough, sprinkling on cheese, etc then using the giant spatula to shove into oven, remove, and sliding into the box. Talent! We will return for happy hour to check out the bar. A good place for large families with the outdoor seating luau style.

CPK is always a great go to! Tonight we went to the CPK in mililani & had the jambalaya linguini fini and the garlic fettuccine with shrimp, chicken & mushrooms. We got there just before the dinner rush so it was nice & not overly crowded. I like the ambiance & feel of the place, it's very welcoming. Our server Dylan was great! Very attentive & quick with the refills.

New items on their menu - like a Braised Short Rib Ragu

Added Sparkles . New menu items! Added pastas, pizzas, salads, and an entire mac n cheese section. A pleasant lil fun surprise from their usuals. Braised Short Rib Ragu is new and good. Chunky sauce with squares of short rib cuts. Imagine an americanized bolagnase with a lot less cheese. Pairs nicely with a red Meiomi. . To me, CPK is a standard chain restaurant. Not bad, not gourmet, but she okay. An expected mall amenity, a decent place to spend with the company of good friends that delivers convenient food service -- nothing revolutionary. But when staff, servers, and chefs are solid - four stars is a fair rating. . cheers!

Stopped in for a quick work lunch. We got seated right away and service was prompted in getting our order and bring our drinks and food. This isn't your upscale restaurant but it is good for what it is. So that is how I judged it. Great convenient easy apps in food. All the ingredients tasted fresh and food had good seasoning. I would have liked more avocado in my chicken avocado rolls and more blue cheese on my salad but again it was good and convenient.

    line before 11 a.m. opening...

Once the pandemic arrived I stopped attending monthly Stampin Up classes. Yesterday was a good chance to meet my demonstrator who asked to have lunch. We both arrived before the 11 am CPK opening hour so we had time to exchange goodie bags. A young handsome guy escorted us to our indoor table. Our table server was sweet, bubbly, efficient and super cute. Found out my guest is like me in that she leaves the bread and eats the sandwich fillings. I really liked the new salad which really is like the Thai crunch but without the edamame. The honey miso dressing was good, something has a little kick to it. The dumplings were indeed crispy but fried a bit long so was darker in color rather hard and brittle so I just ate the filling. The restaurant wasn't packed during a Wednesday midweek early lunch which was great. Not loud so you could hear each other and enjoy catching up for an hour and a half. My unsweetened ice tea came with a lemon wedge and I added two skinny pink packets of sugar substitute. Two years ago we met here. My friend says let's not wait 2 years to catch up again. You know, the older I get, time just flies and seems like it couldn't have been that long ago.

    California Vegetarian with 2X Pepperoni

First time ordering takeout from here. Had to sign up for DoorDash to pickup that added a layer of complexity because the process was unnecessarily cumbersome to checkout. Service I received was subpar. When I arrived, waited 4 minutes before someone came to front counter but he was assisting someone else with a large order. Then another employee asked that employee for change at the register while a third employee was organizing takeout food from kitchen and ignoring me so the employee at the register had to ask her to help with the line of customers. She seemed aloof and unfriendly. She also had a hard time finding my order. She also did not offer any condiments so I had to ask for them. Even on the receipt, my handwritten name was spelled incorrectly. The first employee(tall guy) helping the customer with their large order seemed friendly and very thorough with the first customer. I wish I got that employee instead. Pizza tasted pretty good though. A friend who is a regular there told me to order the California Vegetarian and add Pepperoni toppings which seems pretty odd but tasted great! If it wasn't for that, I would have knocked off another star.

Whenever I feel like I get great customer service, I feel the need to update my review. Eating out can be a challenge for me since I have some unique food allergies. My friend and I came to CPK for dinner. The staff takes such great care of us. Upon sharing my food allergies, the kitchen staff ensured that my meal was prepared properly. We had to wait a little bit because they had to remake my meal to ensure that I was able to eat the food I ordered. The manager came and checked in with me multiple times. I truly appreciated the care that the management, kitchen staff, and our server put in to ensure that we had a great experience. The food tasted delicious and was worth the wait. I highly recommend you come eat here, especially if you have food allergies.

Ordered a to go pizza. We ate it within 7 min of getting the order but it was completely cold. The pizza came in a weird shape as well. Seemed like it was put together with no care.

Usually good but tonight's pizza was so small. They shouldn't have sent this out. $21 for this small pizza.

Zero effort was put into making this dish. It was hard from top to bottom. Took one bite and dumped it damn near broke my teeth. $22 gone, don't waste your money.

Kids pasta with a dash of meat sauce 7/8/25
    Kylene U.

I ordered the kids pasta with meat sauce and broccolini to go. Didn't think to check my order and when I opened up the containers to eat--I discovered that I received a kids pasta with a dash of meat sauce and steamed broccolini. I was annoyed but took my first bites of the pasta and broccolini only left to be further disappointed. I added butter and seasoning to my broccolini to make it tase edible but wasn't able to do anything to my bland pasta. After reading some of the reviews, it looks like this location has an issue with not putting enough sauce on their pasta dishes. TIP: SKIP THIS PLACE. Go to Pearlridge for your CPK fix.

Happy Aloha Friday dinner with my BFF. We shared a Caesar salad and our dessert. I had a ribeye cooked rare, and my BFF had a Pepperoni Mushroom Sausage pizza. Complimented with our own choice of wine. Food was delicious. The restaurant was a bit crowded but comfortable. Our server was fantastic. Perfect place to end our week.

    TV
    Patrick P.

The TVs in the bar area is unacceptable. One TV could trigger a person that has seizures due to the constant blurring of the picture and flashing and the other TV half of the picture is blacken. With College football playoffs, NFL games and NBA games it's very difficult to watch at the bar. Food great entertainment in the dumpster.

Ask the Community - California Pizza Kitchen

    Do they take reservations?

    Yes they do take reservations

Does anyone know if the spinach artichoke dip is already made to order or if they have to make it when your order it?

It's like the dip you can buy from Costco. They just warm/broil it when ordered.

Thank you for having fountain drinks. I hate to go on about it, but it's annoying when people have cans and they charge you like four bucks. The big red cup is enough to satisfy thirsty folks like me. A little 12 ounce can is not. So let's see, we got the special which was a French toast. I got to say, giant portions and everything was real tasty. That's actually something that should be called on. The prices is very good for the amount of food you get. I was very happy with this place overall with that. My kid got the ube pancake which she was really happy about it because it's basically like having a slice of cake because it's so big and deliciously sweet I got the sampler cause I couldn't decide but in retrospect, I probably would have gotten the seafood Benedict. Because that was really my favorite of the sampler the Moko was great, but Benedict was amazing. I'm always a little hesitant on reviews for places when a vacationing because there's a bit of a bias, but this place will definitely worth it. We ordered the Da Local Omelette, the Longsilog and I had the ube mascarpone with french toast. Everything was delicious! I didnt get to taste the omelette since my daughter devoured it within a few minutes. I'm taking that as a sign that it was good. I was able to taste the longsilog with the fried rice and it was tasty as well. I might have to tey that next time. The Ube Mascarpone did not disappoint. Very creamy and the right amount of sweetness. Although I coulndt finish it, I did finish the rest when I got home. And while we were eating I noticed that place got full and busy right away. A family came in and a server approcahed them and told them they might have to wait for a few minutes since all the table were full. And guess what? Since the family's presence was acknowledged, the family actually waited outside. See that eggs n things? People actually wait as long as you acknowledge them! Ube mascarpone pancakes!…read more I've dined here and at the Aiea location a few times. To my surprise, Guieb was introducing an updated menu when my friend and I visited earlier today. Our server explained that the menu is more streamlined with favorites. He mentioned that all pancake dishes can be interchangeable to waffles and that the waffle in their chicken and waffle dish can be any flavor! can My friend and I ordered new menu items, the Aria Plate for her and Da 3-Bite Feast for me. We enjoyed our plates! I love when restaurants offer samplers of sweet and savory breakfast items. The ube mascarpone pancakes were as legitimately ube and not too sweet as ever. The crab cake Benedict was great with a crispy crab cake patty and the poached egg a good medium (huge improvement from the bao bun Benedict I ordered for takeout years ago). The egg from the Wagyu loco moco was cooked exactly like the over easy I requested. The meat was moist and the gravy was flavorful. Good to know I don't always have to get the same ube mascarpone pancakes every time! One of our servers seemed a little hurried when my friend just arrived, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I gently reminded him that my friend needed time to look at the menu. (Maybe he got too excited, haha!) The rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. I seem to forget about Guieb's parking in the back, or even the 1-hour parking around the block. The closest untimed street parking I'm aware of is near First Hawaiian Bank a couple blocks away. Guieb Cafe Wahiawa is always a favorite whenever I have visiting family and friends, or for loved ones moving away.

****CHECK YOUR RECEIPT PRIOR TO PAYING****…read more ****CHECK YOUR RECEIPT PRIOR TO PAYING**** I had lunch with my wife and had a wonderful experience (she had the country fried steak and I had the Korean rib-eye with an order of 4 beignets [2 of the Ube and 2 of the Strawberry])... ...until I got the receipt for our meal. The cost for the whole meal was reasonable until I saw the price for the beignets that were the special menu item. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE US $25.00 for 4 beignets. (For reference: Price was: 1 for $2.75 or 4 for $10.00) I only ordered 4 (two of the Strawberry and 2 of the Ube so my wife and I can try both flavors), which should come out to $10.00. I confronted the waitress about the mistake, and was very apologetic about the error. She returns to the register to fix it and the total came out to $11.00, not $10.00. The math doesn't make sense. So I approached the waitress and she said and I quote: "We charge the $2.75 price because you ordered two orders of two different types of beignets. Since each cost $2.75, the total comes out to $11.00". THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED WHEN THE WAITRESS TOOK OUR ORDER OR WAS NOT PRINTED ON THE MENU WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT THE ORDER I asked her why wasn't this mentioned while we were ordering it, even though she was present when I was having the discussion of the beignets to my wife. All she did was apologize but didn't change the ticket. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I paid the bill and took off. I only state this because even though it is only a dollar, this could have been going on for a good amount of time where they can rack up a good sum of money from customers if they kept this act going. And restaurants wonder why people don't go to their establishments: because occurrences similar to this dissuade people from going out to eat. This is why I check my receipt before paying. *see picture* Don't get me wrong, food was wonderful and the ambiance was laid back and relaxed, but they should make it known of their EXACT pricing before advertising a food item on the menu

You'll be lucky to have either Annie, Nette or Jazlyn - Annie and Nette been there for a long time and made the switch to those newfangled-techie-handheld computers - they take our order with such grace that I'm proud of them lol Jazlyn is very sweet too and takes care of us old folks like we were her own parents. Our 2-year old granddaughter enjoys eating there too and looks forward to seeing Annie, Nette and now Jazlyn! They bring two new crayons and a cute picture of dinosaurs golfing to keep her occupied while us grownups chat. Usually not very busy if you go before the first round of golfers pau. Bathrooms are right around the corner - no stairs to access. Their pro shop is upstairs if you care to check it out. The only thing I wish they had is papaya. They do have a nice little fruit cup for $5 chock full of strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and grapes. They are having an Easter Brunch on April 20 with an extensive buffet (posted pic of menu) for $75 adults, $45 for ages 4-12 and free for kids 3 and under. This is our first time attending so will be back with a review.
