I can't say enough good things about my experience with Kayla as a breeder. I got my first Mini…read moreAussie, Maloha, from her in 2023 and brought home Matcha in 2025 and they are truly the best dogs ever. Both are happy, healthy, well-tempered, and honestly my little soul dogs. From start to finish, Kayla was amazing with communication. She kept me updated every step of the way with both puppies, answered every question I had, and made the entire process feel so easy and reassuring especially as someone who wanted everything done right. When I picked up my puppies, I was blown away by how prepared everything was. She provided a full puppy goodie bag with literally everything you could think of: detailed puppy folders with all health records, proof of genetic testing on the parents, family trees, first round of shots, deworming records, and so much more. On top of that, she included treats, puppy pads, toys, and even a blanket with their littermates' scent to help with the transition. It was clear how much care and intention she puts into her dogs. The little Whiskeytown Aussie bag was such a cute touch too. You can genuinely tell she loves what she does and truly cares about the puppies she raises and the families they go to. My experience was so incredible that I've had family members meet my dogs, fall in love, and end up getting their own puppies from her as well. 10,000/10 experience. I recommend her to absolutely everyone. I feel so lucky to have found her and to have my two best friends because of her.

This is a genetic disease that attacks their red blood cells, causing them to be lethargic, throwing up and peeing a copper color pigment. So if you got a Mini Aussie pup from her, litter number : ASDCA-M2503445. Sire: ASDM-CA-1800353, Dam: ASDT-CA-2203436. Date of birth 5/15/25. Be aware of your puppy if you got a puppy from this litter. I contacted the breeder and she hasn't responded. And we inquired about Soli, you can see that puppy on TikTok, but she's going to use her as a mom for a new litter of puppies, she could potentially have or pass on the gene of IMHA, please be aware. Poor Soli can have this illness triggered from her child birth. We didn't know he had it til he got neutered, a traumatic event like puppy birth can trigger it or even pass it on to other puppies. Response: genetics plays a part, I did not say it was a certainty, but their bloodline is more susceptible to this illness. My vet said otherwise, autoimmune diseases, are triggered but they are genetically predisposed.

We had to continue to ask Deb for more details and she said that the insemination process failed and offered us a puppy from her other dog that wasn't even known to be pregnant yet. We said that we were going to go with another breeder because the timing for that pup wouldn't work for our family. Deb never responded to that desire to cancel or our request for our deposit to be refunded. We know that she was getting a refund for her insemination process and therefore should refund our deposit. We tried calling her and it was not answered. We emailed and messaged her on Facebook and still no response. We are very frustrated with her lack of communication or acknowledgement that she failed to produce the product we placed a deposit for. We recognize that insemination isn't exact but we gave her four months and had to continue to prompt her to communicate what was going on. The non response is very unprofessional.

I would give this breeder, Deborah Orrey, zero stars if I could. Based on my recent experience with…read moreher, I have found her to be unethical and dishonest. We paid a $500 deposit in Dec 2018 for a puppy from a litter that Deborah told us was due at the end of Jan 2019. Since placing our deposit, we received no updates from Deborah on her bitch's pregnancy. We learned from her website that the due date moved from end of Jan, to mid Feb then to mid March. I asked Deborah for an explanation on the changing due date. She did not respond to phone messages. Finallly last week when I was trying to schedule a meeting with Deborah to find out what was going on,. she cancelled and finally admitted that her bitch was not pregnant, had failed 3 artificial insemination attempts. She advised that we should find another breeder and that she would refund our deposit. The refund has not materialized. It has been such a frustrating process to deal with her lack of transparency and of course we want our deposit refunded. Still waiting.
