C'est d'ailleurs un architecte de Dublin qui réalisa cette pittoresque salle, à la demande des propriétaires Muriel et Laurent Donse. Un savant fouillis d'ustensiles typiques, voire hétéroclites (chopes en grès, bouteilles, vélo, etc.) en guise de décoration et, derrière le comptoir "counter service only" - une vieille épicerie reconstituée ! Bref, une ambiance certaine se dégage de ce lieu où l'on peut à sa guise, partager un déjeuner ou déguster une bière entre amis. Il faut goûter le chausson au poulet et le fin Irish stew. On the one hand that's cool because they're showing really stunning surfing videos, on the other hand most of the people are just staring on the screens and forget, why they are really there. If been there several times and I liked it more when there were less screens, but all in all it's still the best bar to go out in Hossegor. By the way, prices are not really low, but average for french bars (pint 5EUR, cocktail 8-10EUR).

The roll was fresh and was quite tasty but the patty itself was nothing great. The potato chips were good. Also, I found it to be a little pricey for two vegetarian burgers and chips. She really didn't do much to hide it, coughing into her hand (gee, thanks, now that you've grabbed my food and forks/knives with the same hand and delivered the food to our table). On top of it, no one else seemed to mind. I know I'm sounding like a total germaphobe American here - and I'm usually the last one to pull the "In America, this or that would never happen". But when it comes down to someone literally coughing left and right all over everyone's food, it's not ok.
