If we changed the space it could expand to a reading room with shelves. We have bought here before, twice, so we know the advantages. Those rooms turned into 2 offices that had a optional bed. We could sleep An extra two couples at the same time, and did. So, the idea is how to spend 3-4 k and create a wow room where guests could stay or stay over. The styles are very consistent to what we had in 2015. Just nice woodwork and different configurations for side storage ideas. Shelves, not drawers. We still are in the idea stage, we met Jay, the original owner. A wonderful man and conversationalist. To change a space to more than a bedroom is a good use of a smaller property. A two bedroom house can be a three with the pull of a handle.

A Word of Caution Regarding Unprofessional Service…read more I had hoped to have some additional cabinets installed in my home, so I reached out to the company that had previously completed work for me and scheduled an appointment for measurements. Unfortunately, no one showed up for the first appointment. When I contacted the company, I was told the appointment had been canceled, yet I had received no notification whatsoever. I decided to reschedule and give them another opportunity. Unfortunately, the same situation occurred. When I reached out again, I was told the person was caught in traffic and would arrive in a few minutes. After waiting an entire hour, no one had arrived, and no one had called with an update. I find this level of communication and professionalism disappointing, especially from a company I had trusted to work in my home previously. Respecting a customer's time and communicating schedule changes are basic expectations of good business practice. I am sharing my experience as a caution to others who may be considering this company. Promises mean very little without follow-through. Based on my experience, their service has fallen far short of the professionalism and reliability I would expect.

Our brand new La-Z-Boy chair just arrived this week, and it looks great and is very comfortable. I…read morewaited until after it was delivered to be able to write a review on the whole process, beginning to end. Usually, La-Z-Boy is not our style. Unfortunately, the stores we normally shop for furniture at don't stock oversized recliners like I wanted for a reading chair. We weren't looking for anything fancy. Just a big, comfy chair to read in at night in the bedroom where no one is going to see it. So we ended up at La-Z-Boy. The showroom is pretty large and well organized. The layout makes sense and it all flows nicely as you walk around looking at their selection. We sat in a few chairs before someone (Caroline) walked up to help us. She really helped us narrow our search to exactly what we were looking for. I found a chair I really liked pretty quickly. She showed us tons of different fabrics and colors we could choose from, gave us the price, and took our information. We wanted a night to think about it. I got home and checked out their website to make sure I was seeing all of my choices in the store. I was not. There was one other chair, similar to the one I was looking at in the store, online. I think it was new, so they didn't have it on the floor yet. So we went back the next day, told Caroline that we found this other chair on their website, and wanted to look at it, if possible. They couldn't find it at first, but it turns out they did have one in the local factory. In order to get this chair into the store to test it out, we had to put in an order for it (or for another item). This wouldn't have been ok if we weren't sure we were going to purchase one of the two chairs for sure, but we were, so it worked for us. A week later, they had the chair in the store, and we went in to look at it. It turns out that, yep, I liked that one better! Good thing I went to the website and looked! We ordered the chair, put a small deposit down, got our estimate of 8 weeks, and left. I'm not typically a very patient person, and Caroline's customer service really pandered to that. She called me every step of the way. When the order was accepted, when the chair was just about ready to be shipped to Phoenix, etc. Once the chair was in Phoenix, I received an automated call informing me of how to pay and schedule a delivery date. Pretty straightforward and easy. The delivery was in only a few days from when I paid. I got a call two days in advance with a time window for delivery day. They arrived at the beginning of the window, which was nice. The delivery guys were also really nice. They answered all of my questions, they didn't scuff my walls or break anything, and the chair is put together just fine and works great! So, from beginning to end, it was a pretty good furniture buying experience. It took around 7 weeks to complete. I just wish they had all of their items in stock, and that I didn't have to order a chair before they would bring it to the showroom for me to test. That's kinda unfair to customers. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this La-Z-Boy store and Caroline.

So we took our business to Southwest Kitchen & Bath. From the beginning what was clear was the high quality of their cabinetry and kitchen systems. Zoe, our designer, came up with a gorgeous plan and was happy to work with our ideas. She created a beautiful kitchen design that exceeded our dreams. Donald, the owner, has a long background in construction, as well as creative vision. Kudos to Donald for twice resolving issues that other contractors said would be impossible. His focus is on making things right, and he does it with genuine caring. Colleen was immediately responsive with hardware ordering and kept the to-do list for our home front and center. Special thanks to Zoe, too, for coming up with a plan to modernize our bathrooms and hall closets in a way that was easy on the budget. Look elsewhere if you're considering this company for cabinets. If you want a completed kitchen…read moreproject in less than 8 months, this isn't the place for you. If you're expecting dedicated staff who pay attention to detail, you won't find it here. If you're looking for a company that prioritizes your best interests, I'd advise moving on. The idea that a small kitchen should be measured properly and completed within a reasonable timeframe is simply not part of their approach. If you want your kitchen to be the heart of your home without exceeding timelines and budgets, avoid this business. The prices are some of the most inflated prices in the local area - You can find better prices, business ethics, and much more competent employees with other companies in Tucson. Over the course of 8 months, there were constant staff changes--people were fired, reassigned, many people quit and the new hire PM was completely unprepared and had zero clue what she was talking about. So my designer got fired, I went through 2 different construction managers, four installers and the incompetent PM. While the owner himself handled a portion of the cabinet installation and was detailed in his work, that's where the positives ended. To make matters worse, I was required to pay 90% of the cabinet price three months before they even began making the necessary repairs and replacements. After the holidays I was contacted to pay the remaining 10% because they are in need of money for the business and I told them that I wasn't going to pay until the job was 100% complete. Also on the website it states "in business for 22 years." This is very misleading because the owner has only had the company for 3 years with only the name of the company being around for 22 years. Who does business like that? This company--Southwest Kitchen & Bath-- Is going to go out of business soon, and this business is one to avoid!!
