Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Price for value: 5/5 Bariatrics/Healthy Options: 5/5 Overall score: 5 stars--you can't get any better to this. YELP and my fellow YELPERS! You never cease to amaze me! Oops... you did it again! You led me to a place that I LOVED. If you are someone who follows me, you'll know that I don't like to visit the same place twice, only because there are so many amazing places. If I do visit a place more than once, it's usually because I really enjoyed it. Well, since I am on a short trip, I didn't intend to eat somewhere twice, especially being a bariatric patient and only eating a small amount I want to see all that I can see, but I just might, NO I AM, going to eat at this place twice. Let me break it down for you! Upon approaching the restaurant, which is a three minute walk from City Express Hotel, you hear loud music. I was thinking is this a night club or a restaurant? Either way I'm going in! I noticed the patio and wanted to sit out there but it was reserved for a private party (Happy 40th birthday to whoever you are!). Loud music was playing, the lighting is somewhat dark, and there are many televisions with both sports and music videos playing, which was pretty cool. We were seated and shown the menu. I was really liking the vibe. The music was nice and loud, and was vibrating through the seats giving me a whole body experience. The service was awesome and friendly albeit hard to hear. The walls are sports related and even have funny quotes around the wall. The important part--the FOOD! Pollo en Salsa de Espinacas Well, I can seriously tell you, without hesitation, that this was the best meal I've had in Tijuana, and I may even venture to say my life, thus far, but I won't go that far... I will say it's the best meal I've had since my bariatric surgery 5 months ago. I was served two pieces of MELT-IN- YOUR-MOUTH chicken(!), smothered in delicious cheese, asparagus in the middle, with a gentle tasteful spinach sauce that exploded my pallet! WHOA YEA!. It was served with a sour cream and bacon baked potato that was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside and two pieces of bread. I didn't eat the bread, but my dining companion said it was good. I could only eat 1/3 of this meal, but I wanted to eat the whole thing. Unfortunately by the time I could eat again the meal wouldn't be good as my hotel doesn't have a refrigerator, so I had to see the food go away, which was really hard for me, especially since it was so flavorful and delicious! George, my dining companion, got the Guacamole burger. This was a large burger, very thick, with lots of cheeses and homemade guacamole sauce on a Jagger's stamped bun served with fries and a side of ranch and chipotle sauced served on a cutting board like block of wood. He enjoyed his burger and gave me a piece of meat with guacamole on it and I thought it was very juicy, flavorful, and the guacamole was spot on--not too spicy, not too mild. The best part was that it was less than $14 USD for both! Crazy!! At home, in the US, I would have paid close to $25. I look forward to taking some of my friends here on my next trip to TJ! We ended up ordering a round of 7 shots as well and the waitress brought over 5 stating that she couldn't carry all 7. No problem with us! But the fact that it took 5 more minutes for her to bring 1 out of the 2 we were missing and then another 10 minutes to bring our last shot, was a bit weird. You pay per hour via game. It was nice to see seasoned players who have etiquette for the game and for others... not like a lot of spots back home! Could have been an honest mistake ..... This place is a fairly easy walk from the border. The new 'ped west ' crossing is closest . Go thru the ped west stuff, you will come out to a small plaza with cabs , walk east to the Hostel California ( bright yellow ). Then turn right. ( south ) on a busy street ( Jose Lacquarrro??). Then walk south to a large parking structure. The sports book is about at the E in the ' Easy Park ' parking sign. The sports book is about 25 yards north of the new Easy Park parking structure , but on a small street that you need to walk down to from the Main Street.

When they told me there's a place we can go and get weed and roll some joints and smoke it there while Having a drink, I Kind of thought hard to believe but it's actually true haha It is located way in the back at plaza zapato on the second floor. You will take stairs to get up to the place. Go in the back room to get your herbs for 50 pesos ($3) for which looked like a gram. My friend said that's expensive for Mexico lol It's not medical grade, but decent enough. They even provided papers. We rolled the joints at our table and then just sparked it up. No one even paid attention. Great place. You'll never know that this place is even there. Not sure how much they pay the cops to not bother them cause there were cops we walked by right before going up and they ignore it. Definitely worth checking the place out.
