Took my Corbin seat there to have the seat padding replaced this is what I got after taking it back 4 times and driving almost 300 miles. Now I have to spend more money and send it back to Corbin to have it done right. They might be able to do bench seats not step downs. Nice enough guys but they don't get bikes. read more

Been wanting to have my 18 year old worn and torn leather seat bottom replaced on my LX470 along with some refinishing of my driver door trim since it was faded from years of resting arms and their oils wearing off the finish. They did an exceptional job and followed the instructions I gave for the leather seat bottom! I was pretty specific that I wanted the gathered (wrinkled) leather look insert like it is from the factory, not the default smooth leather upholstery and they did exactly as I instructed. It looks outstanding and matches the rest of the seat. It's a small detail but it's noticeable as I've seen those who have reupholstered just portions of their seat but without the gathered look and it doesn't match making it look obvious that it was redone. The trim refinish looks great too, back to a matte finish like factory. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to get their car upholstery refreshed. read more

When I dropped off my car, the shop owner's brother guaranteed it would be LEATHER. What I received instead was a VINYL replacement for the same price of leather. They do great work on classic cars...carpet, seats, convertible tops, etc. My mom just had her SUV front electrical bucket seats redone in leather after the sun did its worst. They are tightly stitched, beautiful, comfortable and smooth...no lumps or gaps here! They were fast (3 day turnaround), professional, stocked with tons of swatches & choices and friendly! I would have liked to leave a higher rating, and if I had done it right after I picked up my car from Califa I would have. The upholstery fix on my center console and right armrest was great. The color and material match was spot on. But the next day I noticed that the cupholders in the console were partially covered due to the improper re-installation of the armrest part of the console. When I called to apprise the owner of this he said I would have to wait over the weekend to have it re-installed correctly and I would have to leave the car another whole day. (Minor irritation) When I took the car back on Monday morning I was told it would be two hours and I would be called right away to pick up the car. SEVERAL hours later (late afternoon) I finally called to see if the car was ready. I was told that the owner had left for the day (without ever calling) and the worker would have to check to see if the job was done. Surprise... the car had been done earlier in the day but no call had ever been made. I guess the only person's time that's valuable is the owner's. So three stars it is... read more
