I desperately was in need of a repair . My arm rest was coming apart . The original vinyl was tearing and made my car look ugly . My family has been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Great quality if I say so . They matched my interior perfectly , it even looks better than the original that was in there previously . In less than 2 hours my arm rest was reinstalled . Brought in my BMW motorcycle seat for reupholstery, and left with swear words thrown at me. Seats had the mounting bolts with it and had to be taken out from the pan before reupholstering, to which was mentioned no problem. He took them out but made a big hole with no mounting points or threads on the seat pan, then continued to upholster it. How can I secure a seat onto my bike without the mounting points? He said he'll take care of it, just bring in some nuts to weld back into it's place. I drive out to King Bolt, pick up some stainless metric hardware for this, and then he mentions he can't do it cuz it's already upholstered and his welding machine is down. Most shop ediquette is if you mess something up, you're responsible to fix it. Where's the justification for this? But instead I got a seat, which the upholstery now needs to be removed, pan needs to be repaired, and then reupholstered. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! This place does not care about their clients nor their cars. They are very unprofessional. I brought my car to do a top repair & they did not do a good job & in the end it still wasn't fixed. They dodge calls & when they did answer i would ask about the car they would lie & say it would be done that same day or in a few days & this went on for months more than half a year. If you want quality work DO NOT come here. I don't know how their business is still running but you can find any other place better than this. read more

frank seems like a nice guy but the results just aren't there. If you just need a seat done or a headliner, fine. If it is more complex, he can't do it. He lost parts, broke stuff, incomplete installation. I spent double from his original estimate, gave him way more time than I asked for and he did horrible work. Like I said, just seats or put in a carpet, he's okay. I will never use him for a complete interior. read more

Frank did a wonderful job restitching my driver and passenger seats that came undone a few years ago. He inspected the damage and talked to me about possibly replacing the leather, but was really accommodating when I told him I just wanted a restitch and to keep the original material. He was quick and did a wonderful job at a great price! Practically had brand new seats in about three hours! read more

Frank, the owner mentioned that even Audi dealership comes to him for repair. Promised that he can fix my car. 2 weeks and $500.00 after, car was worst than he started from. Cannot fix the chair module nor the airbag reset which is the main reason why I brought the car to his shop. I don't know why he has to wait for 2 weeks to tell me that he is unable to fix it. He told me that only the dealership can do it. What happened to his claim that dealership comes to him for repairs? Brought it to another shop and was done in 2 days. But still paid him 500 despite the fact that he cannot fix the problem. He told me to come back anytime for the unfinished screws and plastic covers. He said just come by anytime bec it's an hour to an hour and a half job. I called first and confirm that I'm coming bec I live all the way from the valley. When I arrive at his shop around 2pm, the guy does not want to do it bec he said it's an hour away from doing his other clients job. I have to wait and fall in line. Nobody was waiting anyway. He wants me to come back 4 days after for an hour of back job. After he delaying the job for more than 2 weeks,he wanted to delay it more for 4 more days of just an hour of back job. Be careful with this guy. He lies a lot! He seems to be a nice guy at first and makes a lot of claims and promises that he cannot keep! Recommend him to someone you hate! read more

Took in a armrest and another small peice and was told it'll be done by days end. Well after 3 visits, 4 excuses, 8 unanswered calls and 4 days later I was told that "sorry we were busy and didn't do your items". Avoid this fast talking unprofessional business owner by any means. First of all, I am not the type of person that likes to write a lot of reviews on business, especially negatives reviews. However, my experience with A Plus really left a bad taste in my mouth. I want to make sure every car enthusiast thinks twice before taking his/her business to A Plus Custom Upholstery. I went to A Plus to get some upholstery work done on my 1971 BMW 2002. He was recommended by my mechanic. Initially Frank seemed like a nice guy. He got my request down. I paid my deposit, and he started working on my interior. Work looked decent. Missed a couple details that I requested. Small things, no biggie. I paid him $1700 in cash for the work. A little pricey for the quality but oh well. The issue came when I was trying to install the interior back into my car. He did not put the clips back on before putting on the new upholstery so I wasn't able to install the door panels back on properly. I contacted Frank to see if he can fix the issue. I called him Friday and he told me to come in Monday morning. Cool no problem. I work 6 days a week but I had Monday off to take it in for him to fix it. I went in Monday morning, I went in and he told me he cannot fix it at that time because he was finishing up another job. I left the door panels with him and he asked me to go back in the afternoon. OK cool, it's my day off, no big deal. I called him ahead to time to let him know I am coming in the afternoon. He did not pick up my phone but later texted me instead saying he couldn't do it the rest of the afternoon. I was disappointed. Alright fine, s*** happens. I called him to see when I can reschedule to go in. I also texted him multiple times. Did not hear a reply until Wed. He kept ignoring my calls and multiple text for 2 days. During that time he still had possession of my door panels. Finally he texted me to go in Thurs morning. First of all I work 6 days a week and I told him to tell me ahead of time so I can try to plan it around my work schedule. If he cannot do that he promised then he should have just told me a head of time. I tried to reach him (texting and calling) multiple times trying to let me know Thursday won't work and to reschedule, but no luck. He did not return a single of my call or text during that whole time. So I finally dropped by his shop after work trying to see what's going on and get my door panels back. I see Frank sitting there playing with his phone. I asked him what's up with him not replying my calls and text. "Oh sorry, busy" he said. I asked him if he got my text and my phone calls to reschedule. He had to nerve to lie to me and said he texted me to come in next Monday. I asked to see his phone because I did not get a text from him. He pulls up his phone and confirmed that he DID NOT text me back after seeing my texts and ignored all of my calls. No apology from him for telling me something that obviously was not true. I told him I understand he may be busy, but at least let me know ahead of time so my time won't be wasted. He then starts yelling at me saying that I am the one wasting his time. Saying this is his business and he decides how to run it. OK fine...I guess I am taking my business else where. What a fool of me to spend $1700 there to get my seats redone. I guess I wasted his time. Lesson learned. I am doing the rest of my interior else where. Bottom-line: If you want a place with pricey & average quality upholstery work that doesn't to provide any kind of customer service and doesn't stand behind their work, A Plus Upholstery is the place. If you want a place with good workmanship that doesn't think a paying customer is a waste of his time, you need to stay away from this shop. read more
