I took my 2017 Mercedes Cabriolet for replacing the cables and reinfoce plate for the cables. After sending him a couple videos and talking back and showing him the frayed cables and the plate he came up with a plan on how he would do it. He said could do it and when he gets a chance. This had been months so we were patient since he had the confidence in doing the repair. He said to bring the car in on Friday night (assumed he would work on it when it cooled down) whenever he gets a chance. He calls later that night asking how to lower the top my husband explains it to him. He then calls Monday and says he was not going to do it. I dont understand why it took 4 days to let us know he wouldn't be able to do it. Only reason was so he can use ir for a weekend cruise. I dont trust him. Better off taking your car somewhere else.
