They were a heavy greasy mess, with seemingly more oil than potato. But really the reason I feel compelled to write a review is that this was an individual meal. It must have weighed 3 pounds. It was WAAAAY too much food, and priced accordingly. I really wish there was a way to get less than 6 strips. I now see I could have gotten it without the fries. I should have noticed that before. Oh well.

Usually I do the search for restaurants to try but this time, Mr C actually did his own research!…read moreHe recalled learning about a local restaurant known for its wings in Moose Jaw and really wanted to try it and when he mentioned @dejavucafemj to me, I really did have a dèja Vu moment it sounded familiar but I couldn't recall if I've been there Turns out I did but at that time, I didn't try the wings so it was less memorable We wanted to grab a small bite before we head over to the Moose Jaw Tunnels but bad timing cause it was SUPER busy! Thankfully, the staff was able to accommodate us quickly and fed us They have a WIIIIDE variety of flavours and although we wanted to try all, we went with a safe option: maple + bacon + ranch = never wrong choice right? When the food first arrived, I was a bit iffy since I was expecting it to be tossed in sauce but it was only covered on top. After a couple bites, I'm very glad that's how it came as! The sauce:wings ratio was perfect (for me). Sauce wasn't overbearing and since the bottom half was still dry, we were able to get the full crispness of the wings We're definitely coming back to try their other flavours! Another popular dish of theirs is the milkshakes I didn't get a picture but I can tell you - Mr C was a HUGE fan. After the first sip - he couldn't stop raving about how good it was! He got Saskatoon Berry Milkshake and wouldn't stop drinking it until the wings arrived ‍ I wasn't quite in the mood for milkshakes but his excitement for it did make me want to try some Instead if serving it in a fancy glass with decorations, it came in the classic stainless steel cup; this was nice as you actually get all of the milkshake they make rather than just a portion of it (many places pour it into a glass to serve but the glass doesn't hold as much as stainless steel). They also have quite a variety for milkshakes! I already have my eyes set on a few flavours to try in the future

I found this place as a "foodies" suggestion through Yelp. My expectations were raised; the reviews…read moreseemed positive. To be fair this a pizza place: it smells like pizza when you go in and most of the customers go for pizza. So when I inquired as to a gluten free menu, I was hoping for gf pizza crust. "Yes, we have a gluten free menu", the friendly waitress assured me and and handed me a take-out menu with GF possibilities highlighted in yellow. I chose souvlaki with rice and was offered a salad or soup to go with it. The soup was cream of potato. "Is that Gluten free?", I asked. "No", she replied. "Well what are your salad choices?" "House salad and Caesar salad". I ordered a Caesar salad, and I carefully specified "no croutons". It was no more than lettuce with kraft dressing on it. It was disappointment, but edible. The souvlakia was simply a frozen chicken skewer that had been thawing in lemon juice. The accompanying rice was cooked some other day, and seemed like it too, had come from a corner of the freezer. Don't ever order this, here. Ever. My companion unknowingly ordered the hot hamburger sandwich. Growing up, I had learned that hot anything sandwich meant two slices of white bread, with the anything being meat, usually turkey, chicken or beef, and all covered in gravy. Today it was a frozen hamburger patty and not what my friend thought he had ordered. People who stick to pizza may have a better experience. It seems to me that the non pizza choices were worse than going to my mother-in-laws for lunch. She's 82 years old and never learned how to cook.

Had a wonderful Lunch date with my wife here the other day, would have to recommend!…read more Food 8/10 I'm a sucker for Indian food as it is, but the buffet lunch style (which is we both went with) really allowed us to explore a number of tasty dishes, and explore what this cuisine really had to offer. I especially enjoyed the Matar Paneer, as well the Daal Tadka! Service 9/10 When we arrived, the restaurant was essentially empty. This being the case, the wait staff was particularly on the ball making sure we were comfortable. Particularly, we had one waitress who was kind enough to volunteer some guidance with the buffet line, explaining which sauces would put with which meals, etc. Overall, a very friendly staff! Ambience 4/10 The building itself is pretty bare bones. There's not much of an aesthetic that's attempted in any form. There are several decals haphazardly placed around the venue, but overall the space didn't really feel inhabited by the restaurant. As noted above the restaurant was empty when we arrived, and this paired with the lack of music made for a pretty awkward silence to begin our lunch haha. Overall, food and service made our visit to this restaurant one we will likely repeat!

They told me it would be ready in 20 minutes, I said I'll be there in 25 minutes. When I arrived they kept telling me 2 minutes- 2 minutes- it's almost ready. They brought the food to the counter 30 minutes after I arrived. To make a cup of tea and side items took them 55 minutes!!!!! The food lacked flavor. I was totally disappointed. While waiting, nobody else was in the restaurant during dinner time. Now I know why. I will not go back there. NOPE!!
