This is an old school steakhouse in downtown Regina at Broad and Victoria that has been around for…read more40+ years. Food (3.5/5) - Menu has a good selection of appetizers, salads, steaks, seafood and other items. - Pepper Steak Sauté - one of their signature dishes. Pieces of beef tenderloin sautéed with onions, peppers, & mushrooms. Finished with a red wine reduction, & served on a bed of rice. It was ok... nothing special imo. Decent cuts of tenderloin with little fat and the sauce was ok although bit on the bland side. - Side Beef Barley Soup - not a bad side and taste and consistency was good. - Shrimp Cocktail - not what I was expecting and was not good tbh. The shrimps were on the dry side and seafood sauce was very average. I would have preferred a basic cocktail glass of fresh, tender shrimp. Service (3.75/5) - server was friendly and understood the menu well. Slight delay in between dishes and getting bill at end. Atmosphere (4/5) - it is an interesting layout with an old school steakhouse feel with touches of British & Canadian upscale artifacts like the paintings of past prime ministers. Overall (3.75/5) - Overall a more upscale dining experience for Regina. Maybe I should have tried the steak as I thought the food was just average... no better or worse than the Keg.

By far the worst overall experience ever at a restaurant, very poor service she seemed nervous to…read morecome to table, maybe because she didn't have basic English language. It started with 3 menus for 9 people which took 20 minutes to get, ordered mostly water but did order 2 beers and an iced tea, they missed one of the beers. The can of beer was sticky and sweet I quickly poured it into a glass and then washed my hands. Food ordering was comical we learned that they didn't have chicken fingers, burgers, chicken wings, yam fries and brisket. What else did they not have??? Those that ordered lettuce wraps with side salad, did not get a dressing for side salad but most importantly they did not get actual lettuce to build a wrap the chicken and noodles was a pile that we eventually ate with a fork. Let's talk about the food delivery every plate came out with a steak knife, we ordered seafood linguine, lettuce wraps, chicken sandwich, nachos and fish and chips. We had to ask for forks for EVERY plate. To sum poor service in fact the server had very body odour, lacking basic food how does a pub not have burgers and wings among other, no idea what a plate needs to be eaten why steak knife with everything but no forks . This was the first time I did not tip, my only tip is don't eat here, and the tip for restaurant friends figure out your menu, train your staff to understand the menu, customer service and efficiency when you realized that we wanted forks bring out cutlery for the table.

Service: often slow and sometimes servers seem nervous but attentive enough. A dedicated host would help when people wait at the door for longer then usual for a table, but understandably difficult to suggest when not busy Decor: reminiscent of a Moxie's. The floor is a bad choice, it shows dirt immediately. The sun often shines brightly through the windows into the path of half the tables Drinks: beer choices better then most places, pop was average Food: Cajun quesadilla was good, fries were slightly under cooked but seasoned well. Great price. Tacos were excellent. Steak sandwich was good but the bread overwhelmed the meat, open face would be better Man pizza was very good, especially with the Parmesan offered by server

Ordered the colossal burger with soup of the day and a coke. The soup was good. The burger was a different story. It was overcooked, and started crumbling apart inside the bun. Pieces were falling out. I was halfway through before I tasted any condiments. It just became a sloppy mess. I left half of the burger on the plate (never done that before) you thought the waitress might have asked me if the meal was ok seeing the mess on my plate but no. She was not terribly curious about my half eaten messy burger. Oh yeah, the meat had absolutely no taste even though char grilled. Quite the culinary feat. When I got a soda refill, it came in a totally different glass. No effort, no taste, no thanks.

Really nice downstairs funky decorated wonderful decor great set up! They happen to be live music the evening we were there and it was very entertaining. Our waitress was one in 1 million, sadly I forget her name, however she served all of us and was really helpful with the menu and making suggestions for drinks. She was always on top of filling our waters and making sure we have everything we needed. The food was so delicious we tried lots of appetizers and weren't disappointed with any that we had. The deep fried cheese curds were amazing, the Ruben eggrolls were outstanding, and the coconut shrimp really stood out as well! Their signature sandwich with Montreal steak meat was a little disappointing, until I dipped it into the mustard it came with! Well that was a game changer so delicious! I think we sampled just about every martini they had on the menu, and the purple rain was our absolute favorite! They also had a flight of beers it was really amazing to! With some local and some others! Next time I'm in Moose jaw I will definitely have a night out at Cask 82 again!!

When we visited they had almost a dozen beers from local, small (ish) batch Saskatchewan breweries such as Rebellion, Nokomis and Black Bridge including a Rebellion seasonal. Wine list included some good budget wines that I have had before and the cocktails looked tasty but we didn't try them. The food was tasty and made on premises - not from a freezer. The fries were actually cut from real potatoes instead of the normal frozen potato-product shapes sold at most local restaurants. Overall nothing amazing, but at least made in house with care. We will plan on eating there again on our next visit. Giving this place an extra star for being in Moose Jaw. Support local craft beer!
