The presentation was excellent and the food was very tasty. Good sized regular rolls and large special rolls. Friendly helpful staff, very clean environment.

Aesthetically pleasing in both the presentation of dishes and restaurant decorations, wide variety of food and drinks selection, and exemplary taste wise. Authentically Japanese owned. A tad bit on the pricier end for some items but well worth the tendies.

Great service, loved the atmosphere. We've tried Tokyo Shoyu Ramen and nigiri. Highly recommend.

This is pizza sushi. Yes it is!

The restaurant is very clean. A super-friendly waitress brings us napkins, and chopsticks. The menu goes on for pages and pages but there are no pictures. We ordered three dishes for two people. California rolls 8 small pieces. The rice was fresh but not sweetened with vinegar and sugar as is often done- I appreciated this- but the crab and avocado were so tiny as to be barely noticed next to the overpowering pickle. We also ordered spicy salmon- 8 small pieces, and drizzled with mayonnaise, but all in all quite tasty. Finally, we could not resist trying the salmon sushi pizza, one of several "pizza" choices on the menu. Picture is included. The "crust" looks to be made from a ball of rice that has been deep-fried, then flatted, spread with finely chopped green and white onions, and layered with salmon, then cut into slices. Gluten-free and a charming idea- I think we'll be seeing more of "sushi pizza". Went back for a latte- best one I've had in Moose Jaw so far. We also had the prosciutto crepe panini, and the chicken pesto wrap which were both delicious. I'm changing my vote from 4-5 stars. Was going to try breakfast but they were closed Monday on the long weekend.

Breakfast of champions!! Beautiful and tasty. Who doesn't want to start their day with a little ice cream and chocolate. ;)

This was our first visit to Moose Jaw so I clicked on yelp to help us find some unique places to eat. We chose Mitsu because it was an easy 5 minute walk from our hotel (Temple Garden) and had fabulous reviews. Our friends, upon delving into Mitsu's info online concurred that this would be our venue for Sunday brunch. The 4 of us arrived just before 11 am Sunday August 25, 2019 at Mitsu Sweet Cafe. We walked in to a large clean bright open space with a silk screen of a beautiful cherry blossom tree hanging loosely on the ceiling with lighting behind it. (Why I did not take a picture I can only assume is because I'm new to this.) Immediately we had the attention of the waitress/hostess. She was very amiable with a big smile. The entire staff, btw, looked very professional with white button down shirts and black dress pants. Hair was all pulled back into ponytails. As the waitress seated us she asked if we wanted sushi or cafe. We wanted to keep our options open so we said we didn't know yet. At that time the waitress gave us stylish black leather dinner menus. We peruse the menus and discover they are solely filled with sushi. We love sushi, but not for breakfast. We were confused. If breakfast/cafe food wasn't in the menu, how do you order it? My friend Victoria figured it out when she went up to the front to order coffees. While up there she found a board with the cafe menu on it. Ohhhh!! So if we want cafe food we have to come to the front, place our orders, pay for them and serve ourselves. If we had wanted sushi there is actually another entire restaurant behind the cafe. I think they share the kitchen in the middle. The cafe food was well worth the wait. Huge portions, beautifully plated and tasty. They also have specialty treats pre-made in a glass showcase up front that you can enjoy there or take home and share.

I actually don't like ice-cream, but when I saw that they have Matcha Homemade ice-cream, I just couldn't resist!

Spectacular place! One of the precious gems you can find in the prairies in the middle of Canada. If you like high-end, real coffee for the reasonable price - this is the place. I absolutely love cappuccinos here, desserts are top notch and fun too. Authentic sushi and ramen noodles are amazing. You are going to notice immediately that every single beverage and meal is made with attention to the detail and love. Service and staff is fabulous, you can feel that this is family-owned business and not some kind of soulless franchise. This is a spectacular place and I highly recommend it.

Best sushi in southern SK. Service is always great and it's super cute inside. It's definitely one of Moose Jaw's top restaurants!

Great food and service. Also has such a nice atmosphere. Not too crowded so that just makes it all the better.

Utopia Cafe - Salmon avocado toast

Second time was a few weeks ago with a friend and I actually got a savoury dish for lunch and loooved it! I've been thinking about it ever since so I decided I had to go back and make a third trip just for it Just like last time, the Salmon Avocado was deeeelish! It originally comes with other veggies like alfalfa sprouts, grape tomatoes, shredded carrots and red onions - all veggies that I say ‍ to! So mine looks less compared to the regular As shown in pics, it's two layers of toast with smashed avocados on each and the top one has slices of salmon and for flavour, it's topped with everything but the bagel seasoning I absolutely love this dish and just always cravin' for it! I mean...it's an easy one to make but I don't like preparing raw salmon myself especially since it needs to be thin sliced so it's perfect anyway, overall, duh! My favourite item from here so far! I would have liked it even more if there were another layer of salmon in between the toasts since it's $11.99 buttttt I guess it would be worth it, had I not opt out of the veggies For the toast, I paired it with some refreshing Iced Strawberry Matcha Latté first time ordering this one; I took a quick glance at the menu and this one caught my eyes immediately. I love the layers of strawberry, milk, then matcha at top not sure if my picture does it justice but it felt like it took forever to finish drinking it! Definitely a good sized glass I'm not really into their other food items but they have such a vast variety of drinks that I definitely foresee myself going back to try out! They have two locations in Regina; one on Vic ave and one in Harbour Landing so I definitely recommend checking 'em out!

I went to this restaurant with high expectations for a great evening. What my girlfriend and I…read moreended with was such an unsatisfying experience. Well, from the start, they had our reservation messed up and had us waiting for a table even though we called in. The staff then moved us in an annoyed and hurried rush from our initial table with a wonderful view to one tucked far away in the corner with arguably the worst view from the rooftop. We were served warm glasses of water on a particularly hot evening. We were not served right away either and had to wait almost a half hour before having our orders taken, all the while watching our server tend to other tables who showed up well after we did. Our food took a concerning amount of time, and it had gotten dark by the time our food came. Our appetizer did not even arrive before our entrees did as they didn't even put it in together with our order to begin with, apparently. On top of all of that, try cutting a steak on a very uneven, wiggly table. It's almost comical! Our server was still quite professional with serving us, but I didn't feel a personal connection with him; it didn't seem like he was SERVING us, rather just there to take our plates away (that is, whenever he shows up to our table, once in a blue moon). There was no compensation for the sub-optimal experience we had that night. Only an expensive bill that was not really seeming worth the price. I really wanted to like 20ten, I really did. Unfortunately this night has just left a bad impression on myself and my girlfriend. Please, 20ten team, consider our complaints and adjust your service accordingly for your future service. I'm happy for those who loved their dining experiences here--I just wish we had could have shared the same outlook. I stand firm with my one star review.
