When a brokerage terminates an agent from a job is one thing, and it is totally acceptable. What is not acceptable is when an agent is terminated by their Broker when they have first deal already in escrow. This happened to my wife, Vijaya "Maddy". No explanation was given. Multiple attempts to find out why were ignored. If you choose to do business with this agency in any sort of way, beware because they lack ethics, transparency, and professionalism. Pursue at your own risk. To claim no knowledge of her is not a surprise, yet the whole experience has been documented. To make an outright lie that any explanation was given is also no surprise. Again, why do it in the middle of an escrow.? This has been deemed unprofessional by us and many other agencies who have heard this story. I'm just here to share the story and help others make a better decision on who they choose for employment and real estate needs. read more

What a difference a few years makes! When I listed my Stadium Lofts Condo in Anaheim, I made an agreement with Charisse to ultimately sell/purchase three properties with Caliber Real Estate. The condo in Anaheim from the original review. A condo in Yorba Linda and the purchase of a brand new home to be determined. The deal was they would get commission on the sales of all three properties and rebate me back the one percent commission on the brand new home. In 2021, I viewed a new home in Ontario without Carrie or Charisse and decided it was a place I wanted to purchase. I called Carrie and asked her if she would go with me, and sign me in, so that she would go on the purchase as my realtor and thereby get the one percent commission that came with the purchase. Since it was covid, everyone wore masks the first couple of times we went to see the homes, so there was no question the single time Carrie went with me to sign me in. She was never the procuring cause on the new home! When it came time to list my condo in Yorba Linda, I called Carrie to discuss the rebate on the new home and the listing on the YL Condo. Carrie got mad at me and told me she "Deserved" the commission on all three properties and ultimately got mad at me and hung up on me. A few weeks later I ran into Charisse and told her how unhappy I was with Carrie's attitude and her trying to back out of the deal. She said she would talk to Carrie and get back to me. Sadly, she never did! Needless to say, I never gave them the listing on my condo because I could no longer trust them. In the end, Carrie made over $6,000 on the purchase of my new home. With the entirety of the work involved equaling driving out one time and signing me in at the sales office. I hope the $6,000 was worth it to the two of you! It pains me to write this review, but, it would appear, with the market being so go since Covid, these girls have gotten greedy and forgotten that their word is worth more than a few thousand dollars! If I were you, I would definitely think twice about listing a home or buying a home with agents who cannot be trusted to live up to their agreements. Thank you read more

I am happy to say that now the home is on hold and Charisse needs to return my keys. The real estate board is considering sanctions against this agent for ethical violations. Hopefully she does return the keys and not try any other negative behavior. Avoid this agent so you do not go have a repeat of my experience By the way, there is a lawsuit against Charisse at this time. read more

When we set out looking for a home years ago, we happened to meet Carrie from Caliber Real Estate at an open house event. We immediately knew that she was the realtor that was going to help us navigate the housing market. To keep things short, she knocked things out of the park and landed us our perfect home. Many realtors are in it for only the money, but Carrie and her agency are big on building relationships. It's been 4 years since we bought our house and still to this day Carrie has gone above and beyond for us. The most recent- providing us a meal as we just welcomed our first child. So if you are looking for a realtor that's truly in it for you, give Carrie a call. read more

I highly recommend Charisse - she made our home sale so quick and painless! Her knowledge of the townhome/condo market in Orange along with her social media marketing skills helped our townhome get into escrow within 4 days of listing. She is also super down to earth, has a calm demeanor and has quick and efficient communication skills. To top it off, we got top dollar for our home when multiple other agents said it wasn't possible. The process was smooth and we weren't stressed at all because she gave us solid advice and only told us what we needed to know. Her team (especially Estevan) was super helpful and knowledgeable the whole way through. If you want the best agent in the Orange area, call Charisse! read more

I highly recommend Charisse and her team to anyone looking for that personal touch experience. This is our third transaction with Charisse, she found us our rental and negotiated to our terms when we were just starting out, found us our condo when we were ready to grow and in this transaction sold our condo and found us our family home. She listened to every request I had and went above and beyond to get us in on impossible listing appointments. She met us at all hours of the day and truly made us feel like we were her most important clients, when we knew she had so many she was working with. In the end she found us the perfect home for our family, larger than we planned and right in our price range. I will continue to refer Charisse and her team to family and friends, I hope you do the same! read more

Charisse and the team has done, and continues to do, a fantastic job for us. We bought a condo that underwent a stressful and extensive remodel. Through the course of the remodel, we had come across a few issues. We are very impressed with Charisse's responsiveness and her ability to solve problems for us, even if it is not something she has to do. We will definitely use Charisse and her team for our future home purchases! read more

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. .I began my search for a condo in Long Beach, CA this past November, 2012. I was living in Queens, New York and I was planning my return to California after a nearly 25 year absence. I found Charisse Okamoto, of Caliber Real Estate Group, by responding to an MLS listing on Real Estate.com. Although I was initially conducting my real estate search from afar, I was immediately taken by Charisse's professionalism, tenacity, and empathy. I decided to work exclusively with Charisse Okamoto, and Carrie Hale, of Caliber Real Estate to begin my arduous search for the elusive "beach front, turn key, top floor, with parking," condo in Long Beach, CA. I soon discovered that the Southern California market was on an upswing with "cash investors" purchasing most of the inventory coveted by home buyers such as myself. By late December, and after submitting nearly a dozen failed offers, Charisse sent me a listing that was slightly outside my preferred area. However, the property had everything I was looking for including being situated near the water--albeit the water is a lake and not the ocean. With Charisse Okamoto and Carrie Hale's assistance, I closed on the El Dorado Lake's condo last week. If you are in the market to purchase a home in southern California, I strongly encourage everyone to consider the services of Charisse Okamoto of Caliber Real Estate. Not only is Charisse an outstanding real estate agent, she is also an exceptional, and kind human being. Thank you Charisse, Carrie Hale, and all the employees of Caliber Real Estate Group! read more

Charisse and Carrie were wonderful to work with and had my condo sold within days of the open house. All of my questions were answered quickly and efficiently. Charisse and Carrie have selling real estate down to a science. Plus, they're a lot of fun! read more

I have worked with Carrie and Charisse on a number of properties, both buying and selling. Each transaction has been a 5 star performance. They are incredibly easy to work with, always responds to texts, emails, phone calls, willing to come meet in person, etc. I recently sold my condo in Long Beach and I didn't have to lift a finger. They took care of everything. The listing and marketing of the condo were amazing, which is why the property had multiple offers, leading to acceptance of an above-listing price offer and a 30 day escrow. I have, and will continue, to refer them to my friends and family who are looking to buy or sell a property and will be using Carrie and Charisse on my next home purchase. read more

After working with Carrie and Charisse on several buying and selling transactions, I won't ever use anyone else. The personal service, attention and time they spend to make the process easy and convenient for you is extremely helpful. The paperwork and negotiations can be so time consuming, but they handled everything and made it extremely convenient so I didn't have to spend time away from work or my family to get anything done. I was also able to do most of the transactions via my phone, including signing paperwork, texts, etc. so I never had to go out of my way to get anything done. They have a ton of experience, great suggestions and treat you like you are the only person they are working with...which is never the case. read more

What a great team to work with in buying a home. The market was a bit challenging during our purchase - they rose to the challenge and supported us the whole way. We found the right home, they worked so well with the seller and realtor on the other end. We had a few bumps that they mastered their way through. We are so happy with who we chose to walk us through this complex process. Thanks! read more

What a team! This is our second experience with Charisse. We sold our condo in the first weekend that we put it on the Market. She was attentive to all our needs in finding us another property. She was on top of all the questions always available. We are nothing but happy with her services, we would recommend her to everyone. We agree 100% with the previous comment, you will be missing out on a great Realtor if you don't go with her. read more

Prompt, knowledgeable and professional. A nice team to work with!

I recently used Charisse Okamoto to sell property I acquired through an inheritance and which had 2 tenants. The sale was very complicated and labor intensive. Charisse did a magnificent job finding a buyer, getting the lender to approved the loan for the buyer with credit issues, and ensuring one of the tenants would vacate the property when escrow closed. This is the second time I used Charisse and I cannot express enough how professional, helpful and competent she is. I would never use any other realtor. Charisse is the very best. read more

I recently used Charisse for a 1031 Exchange- sold condo in Irvine and bought a house in Morro Bay. Her services were second to none. The best expert advice, quick responses to questions 24/7, and personal attention to every detail during the entire transaction. If you don't use Charisse you will regret not having the best agent represent you. I plan on selling several other properties over the next few years and the only agent I will use is Charisse. read more

Charisse Okamoto and Caliber Real Estate did a great job representing us as a buyer of a residence in Orange and subsequently helping us lease the property. Charisse was super professional and went way out of her way helping us throughout the process. Her knowledge of the area was excellent. I highly recommend her for any of your real estate needs. read more

The reason I am giving 5 stars is not just because I was helped with picking my condo, doing all the paperwork, winning the bid on the condo and guiding me seamlessly through escrow; I'm giving 5 stars because I was given the best service of my life. I was advised on an amazing lender, contractors and painters that remodeled my condo and going above and beyond their duties time and time again. I am now the owner of a beautiful remodeled condo with an affordable mortgage and I am forever grateful to Charisse and Carrie for both being phenomenal realtors. I give my highest recommendation. Whether your a 1st time home buyer or experienced, you can not do better than having this team in your corner. read more

Amazing team!!! First of all I had a specific desire for a home in a specific region and priced under 575k without an HOA! Crazy right? Done! 550k, 2bdrm, 1 bath, detached home 7k sf lot in Orange and zoned R4! Couldn't be happier with their performance. We viewed multiple homes and as you and anyone whose purchased a home knows it's hard to remember everything to consider and that's where Carrie and Charisse came in very strong in support. They gave insight to items I missed and never really considered. We viewed homes I felt would fit the bill and through our discussions reconsidered. Never once did I feel pressured to make offers I was not comfortable with. Mind you I had been working with them for over a year and had a few deals fall thru, though none due to their efforts. And when we went into escrow. They helped to ease my mind and answered all inquires diligently and thoroughly. When I buy my next property in Hawaii or SoCal I will not hesitate in calling upon Calibre with Carrie and Charisse to acquire it. Mahalo for my beautiful home Calibre!!! read more

Charisse is an amazing realtor!!! she was of great help during my house hunting... very patient with me being so picky and was always very honest about each property and not just out there to make a sale but more looking out for my best interest! After finding my home and after closing escrow she still made herself available to help me out with legal documents and was super helpful even though she didnt have to because it wasnt part of her job and not dealing with the sale of the house... she really was amazing and would recomend her 100% to anyone... .in which i have and even my boyfriend purchased a condo with her help! She also helped us both get downpayment help through grants..!! read more

Charisse and Carrie put our house in Corona, CA up for sale on 4/1/11. By 5/24/11, we had approximately 25 realtors show our house and four solid offers. By 7/22/11, our house was sold for $20k more than it was appraised. I strongly believe that their dedication to their clients (us) was sincere and honest. They made themselves available for us all hours of the night/day. Charisse and Carrie were persistent, informative, and knowledgeable about the current market trends. Their use of modern technology used to advertise our house was incredible. They sold our house in a time when housing prices are the lowest they've been in years and in an area (Inland Empire) that was one of the hardest hit in this economy. We appreciate their hard work and grateful for their help! I strongly recommend Caliber Real Estate Group! read more
