I had a great experience at Caliber Collision in Weatherford, thanks to Troy Norwood. I originally brought my vehicle in because I thought my driver's side mirror was damaged and had already started an insurance claim. Troy took the time to inspect it and realized the mirror housing had simply popped apart. He was able to snap it back into place in just a few minutes, tested all of the electrical functions to make sure everything worked properly, and confirmed no repairs were actually needed. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. It would have been easy to recommend unnecessary repairs, but instead he saved me time, money, and the hassle of going through an insurance claim. Our experience was excellent! We had a minor collision damage claim and a hail damage claim from many months back. We only recently had time to have them taken care of. We chose Caliber because they were close to our home near Weatherford and because they were one of the companies our insurance company prefers (Liberty Mutual). We dropped our truck (2019 Ford F150) off on Tuesday, December 8th and picked it up on Friday, December 11th. I was stunned that they were able to complete the repairs so quickly. They even hd to send the truck to Fort Worth to have a sensor package in a new tail light calibrated. I went over the truck very well and feel they did a great job on all the repairs. I am posting this review because there is more than one reason for the bad review. I also called and spoke to the manager giving them the opportunity to correct the situation. 1) I picked up the car and had questions on a large scratch still on the car. The worker said he wasn't the representative on this car so he had no idea. He suggested I call to speak with someone. 2) The inside of the car was untouched and left very dirty. 3) The car was supposed to be ready before Christmas. It wasn't ready until 1/4/21. When I called and spoke with a manager, giving Caliber the opportunity to fix the situation, I asked "do you not detail a car after you do body work?" Her response "we don't have a detailer on staff". SERIOUSLY!?! You are a body shop. Their offer was to bring the car back so they could vacuum it out. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Very unprofessional and poor quality to say the least. I also asked for a price for a new arm rest and they never even got back to me. I have used Caliber in Fort Worth and was very happy with their work but I try to do business locally whenever possible so I used the Weatherford location. I will NOT be going back here again. I was rear ended the last week of March 2021. I brought my vehicle here. After 3 days I was called and told my car was ready. When I arrived I noticed all the decals and part of the trim was missing I asked why and was told those pieces were on back order and that I would get weekly updates letting me know the status. Here we are in the second week of August and I have received a total of 3 updates. I was also asked to give them good scores so they would get paid for a job they didn't even complete. advised truck had been repaired and when went to pickup had to pay my deductible portion of bill before could examine the repairs. paid and truck brought out front and told keys are in it and it's running. examined repairs and noticed the damaged wheel wasn't replaced but I was charged for a new one on the itemized bill. went inside to speak with someone about the error. manager came out and said the wheel was supposed to be replaced when the front end was realigned ut would have the wheel replaced in about 20 minutes as he said it was in the shop. i said had a couple errands and would be back in about an hour. returned 1 1/2 hours later and no truck and asked if or when it would be ready. no one knew and said they thought it was taken to a tire shop either Discount tire or Pep Boys and didn't know when it would be back but to wait or come back later. waited a little bit then went to the tire shops looking for my truck and found it at Pep Boys and the wheel not replaced yet. Two hours has now passed. Pep Boys manager came up and asked if he could help me and I advised him that this is my truck andthe Caliber manager said it would be ready an hour and half ago. he apologized and saying yes the truck was dropped off to him about 2 hours ago and he would get it taken care of in about. 10 or 15 minutes. I said thanks and waited when suddenly the manager of Caliber showed up and said well things happen and it's taking longer. I said this isn't very good customer service as it's two hours now and the vehicle still isn't ready as it should have been and told it would be. I said I would not recommend Caliber Collision with poor customer service like this to which he said something I couldn't catch but was rude acting. After 15 minutes was told by Caliber manager I could have my truck now and again I asked was the wheel balanced and he said yes. Drove truck home and again examined the repairs and the itemized statement and upon examining the wheel did not see any wheel weights on the inner or outer side of the rim. I highly doubt that the rim and tire when mounted was perfectly balanced and required no weights. as anyone knows an unbalanced wheel will cause unnecessary and rapid tire wear and can also do damage to the suspension system. I do not recommend Caliber Collision and should you use them for repairs please examine your vehicle before you pay and with a manager or service advisor and examine your itemized statement carefully. My vehicle was in the body shop for insurance repairs to the rear end. I had minor damage to the passenger side of my vehicle and asked them to give me a quote for that repair to pay out of pocket. They called me and gave me a quote of ~$385.00 which I agreed to pwhen I came to pick up my vehicle they told me I had agreed to pay $1100.00 for the repair over the phone (which was not true). Be sure to get everything in writing before letting them initiate repairs on your vehicle. They will scam you if you do not. Dave came out to look at it, went inside, returned with the parts to fix it and took care of it right in the parking lot. I had the worst experience at caliber collision in Weatherford. I will never go back nor would I ever recommend this business. My insurance company recommended them so I took my car in for an estimate. The lady (Cory) was helping me. I showed her all the damage and what the estimate I got before them was. She then said they will need to lift the car up to take a better look so I scheduled it out so it was there in the morning. I dropped it off the night before and called them in the morning to go over things and make sure everyone was on the same page. Cory called me around 3 that afternoon saying all my car needed was an alignment. So with her telling me this info, she didn't listen to a word I told her when I first met her and didn't pay attention to any of the damage I pointed out. Clearly this person wasn't a mechanic because when I was showing her the damage she looked lost. My car didn't need just an alignment it needed a new strut, new strut mount, plus a new wheel and bumper damage to be fixed. This company needs to hire better employees that pay attention and listen to the customers because they lost my business. read more

Caliber Collision has serviced my vehicles twice and done an outstanding job! When someone backed into the front of my Honda they fixed it over the course of a week and had it looking good as new. My more recent visit had them repairing my Chevy after somebody slammed into me from behind. After taking a rear end at 35 mph she looked pretty bad afterwards. Caliber kept the car for 3 weeks and constantly updated me to let me know where we were in the repairs. Once again you would never had guessed that it had been wrecked. ( except my shredded license plate. Which they welded back together. ). My insurance had told me to just drop the car off in the morning and when I arrived I was told I needed to bring it back later because they were swamped. After Expressing my concerns about driving it Stephanie the supervisor came and walked around the car with me. She agreed I shouldn't be driving it and said she could make room for it. She also offered to give me a ride over to Hertz to pick up the rental car. There is also a convenient enterprise where you can leave the rental car on premises. That way you won't need two people once your vehicle is ready. read more
