I sent an email to communitymanager@calibercollision.com 3 weeks ago, and they never replied. Just save yourself the pain and suffering, and never step foot in any caliber collision. My experience with Caliber Collision has been nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, waiting nearly two weeks for a mere estimate is unacceptable. My advisor, Ethan Snader, displayed the epitome of rudeness and disrespect, lacking any semblance of customer service skills. It's evident he should never be entrusted to communicate with customers. To compound matters, Ethan neglected to provide a complete estimate, prompting the intervention of the general manager, Thomas Larson. The initial estimate, hastily concocted by Ethan in five minutes, was further delayed by Mr. Larson's inexplicable inefficiency. This forced me to endure an agonizing additional 4-day wait, exacerbated by Ethan's unapologetic attitude during my numerous follow-up calls. Caliber Collision's abysmal service, embodied by Ethan Snader's incompetence and lack of professionalism, has left me thoroughly dissatisfied and questioning the integrity of their operations. My ordeal with Caliber Collision reached new lows when Mr. Larson failed to reach out upon their reopening on Tuesday. Despite my persistent attempts to contact him, each inquiry was met with a different excuse, exacerbating the frustration. They clearly do not know how to match pearl white on cars. Multiple bad experiences at this location, clients, neighbors all bad experiences. Would never recommend. Here is a few pictures of what they try to pull and say oh that is how your car should look, or we cant match it exactly, or its hard to match plastic and metal and that every car is mismatched. Funmy cause other places have no problem getting it right the first time lol. Get better equipment or better painters and stop making excuses. You guys sound ridiculous. Second car, bumper painted and they said this matched also. Geez are you kidding me . Obviously they are color blind. These are just a few I have pictures of, same thing happened to my neighbors and others but couldn't get pictures of the work being it happened while ago. If you have a pearl white car do not and I repeat do not even think about going here. Terrible work. Go somewhere else. If I could leave a ZERO STAR REVIEW, I would. I was in an accident (with my only vehicle) and my car was taken to Caliber Collision on 34th St. The front desk team was very kind and understanding and helpful, they even gave us the card for direct contact to the General Manager, Tony on that first interaction. We did a walkthrough of the car with one of the maintenance team and examined the car - with no mentions of any repair concerns from them. Sadly, it all went EXTERMELY down hill from there. We called daily for updates on the status of the car and either couldn't get a hold of anyone or would be told someone would call me back. When I managed to finally managed to get any real feedback about my car from Tony - NINE DAYS LATER - I was told they had decided that didn't want to work on my car. AFTER NINE DAYS of sitting on my car and doing nothing and giving me next to no updates, when I could have already had my insurance company move to car to another shop, they just sat on it. After that news, we immediately arranged for transfer of our vehicle to another shop and Caliber Collision held our car hostage for ANOTHER FOUR DAYS - as we (and our insurance company) repeatedly had tow company's come to pick up our car only to be turned away because no one at Caliber knew what was going on. This is my family's ONLY vehicle, so understandably getting this car fixed quickly is an URGENT need. There are a lot of arguments that could be made for why it happened and who is at fault, but at the end of the day they completely FAILED to provide service to someone who they agreed to provide service to and then took advantage of their precious time after they had already been in a traumatic accident and was left in a vulnerable position. Almost TWO WEEKS of complete inconsiderate incompetence. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. read more

Our car was at Caliber Collison St. Petersburg location for repairs related to an auto claim when it was left unlocked and running in the unsecured, unvideoed front lot on 12/28/23 after they sent it to Tires Choice for an alignment. To date the only call we have received from Caliber was to request the owner to come in to file the police report on 12/29/23. The manager Thomas Larsen has made no effort to resolve the issue or communicate with the customer. When we called this week to request assistance with covering rental car costs, he advised that his regional manager has not made a decision and we should use our own insurance, to be clear we have never spoken with the regoinal manager, risk, loss or anyone else at Caliber despite this huge loss. The use of a our insurance for something that was the result of their own negligence is unacceptable. Tires Choice claims to have given them the keys, they claim otherwise. Regardless of the circumstances Caliber has a responsibility to their customer to prevent loss of our property while it is in their possession and at the very least we should have been contacted by their upper management to address this loss. Shame on this business! I certainly hope this will get their attention. read more

After getting in an accident, I had to have a few parts on my car replaced and I got my car back in one week. I was able to pick up and drop off my rental car (through Enterprise) at the Caliber Collision office and didn't have to arrange getting rides or worry about dropping off the rental. They were very friendly however had poor communication with me about updates on the status of my vehicle. So I did have to reach out to them more than once. I later found out they had taken down the wrong phone number so hopefully this shouldn't be an issue in the future. When I picked up my car, the inside was cleaned and detailed and the replaced parts looked great! I would definitely come here again. read more

Used this company to repair my car after an accident. After bringing the car home we noticed a problem that didnt get fixed and they said to bring it back. We didnt have time then so had to wait a couple of weeks to get it back in. We finally did and then we get a phone call saying my Insurance isnt paying and they are going to keep my car. I knew this was incorrect so called my Insurance company to find out what the issue was. They did bring my car back but told me they were sending me to collections, I told them I was trying to get ahold of my insurance company and to give me time not figure out what the problem was since this was the first I had heard about it. , I knew they were going to pay but wanted time to contact them. I did that next day and my Insurance company apologized for the error and they would contact Caliber to explain. I called Caliber and they still treated me like a criminal. My Insurance company said they should have contacted them and it could have be resolved earlier. It was apparently easier for them to threaten me then for them to do it little more work. Stopped by to get an estimate on repainting the windshield trim, and I was asked what I wanted to pay. I should have said "Nothing", but instead I said around $100 (guessing). I was then given the reasons why they could not paint the trim, ie: not responsible if trim were to break while removing, can't tape off vehicle and paint trim on vehicle (this trim snaps off easily when any windshield replacement company replaces windshields on Chrysler Crossfire's) and I was told they only repair larger repairs and I should go to a Mom and Pop Place. read more

It all started from a April 30th accident, starting customer service was great...text everyday with a update and communication with an initial quote with the advisement from a representative. I was told the car will be completed on 5/14 which is a couple days early. I picked it up at the end of the day. So throughout the weekend, I found that the weather stripping wasn't attached to my door, missing bolts to my door latch, car wasn't unlocking when I turned the car off, automatic windows weren't working and I was hearing a wind noise coming from my door and also noise coming from my front end. I came back to the collision shop and talked to the manager where he acted like it was no big dealing and showed me how to reset my automatic doors himself. He stated that he wanted to drive my car but never did. I oil light due for an oil change came on so while that was done, I had an inspection done where the noise from the front end was determined to be a cv axle. Called body shop right away and informed them of the inspection, asked if I need to call my adjuster. They replied no and that they would take care of it but never asked me to schedule something nor come in. Next day, part failed and caused another accident. After calling the shop out to the new adjuster, it was suggested that I give them another chance. So it was towed to them on the 20th until the first of June. During that time, no communication via text nor updates from advisor unless I called. Unlike the first accident where I received an initial estimate then an adjusted one after the breakdown without my permission like the first one. This time nothing up until May 27th from the advisor where I called to tell me it is a total loss and that she sent it to my insurance adjuster the night before. I finally received an estimate on June 1st after walking into the location where I informed Gail and the manager Sergio that it was being towed out of there today or tomorrow. So when the tow company and my brother show up while I am at work to pick up, Sergio stops them and demands money for towing and a disassemble I didn't authorize. Then I was put on a speaker phone about this and I asked why wasn't it brought up hours earlier when I was there personally which led to an argument between Sergio and myself. All the while the tow truck I paid for out of my pocket left the location. Through this experience, I would avoid Caliber if this is an example of customer service. read more

I took my Ford F-150 to Caliber after being rear ended. From the start the service was friendly and professional. After my vehicle was finished, employee Lee called me and noticed there was an additional issue that needed to be fixed. As it was Friday afternoon, I needed my vehicle back for the weekend. Lee did not hesitate to drive all the way to Clearwater to get a part for my vehicle and installing it, even after closing. I cannot recommend the team here as they went above and beyond.
