This place is wonderful! I was hit-and-run by a semi and the trooper called them to tow me. Henry picked me up and was nice as he could be. My car and I were taken to their lot and I was pleasantly surprised to see so many State police and county vehicles in their lot. They must be doing something right! I sat in their office and talked with Anthony and Joe and henry, /they got me a water and explained what would happen. They offered great advice. I am a PhD Microbiologist, but did not know anything about this business. After things were settled, one of them even gave me a ride to my 55+ living community. Anthony and his team had my car in their possession for nearly 4 months due to an insurance issue. He was extremely accommodating and once the issue was resolved they got to work immediately fixing the car. Half the car was resprayed and nearly half the car had body work down to it. If I could give no stars I would! Anthony Stanganelli is probably the worst person I've come across! I was in a serious accident and had no choice where my vehicle went. I was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Between him not picking up a phone and calling FHP himself to help the situation he only made it worse! He is only prolonging the situation, does not care I'm bed ridden or could he make one simple phone call after I had proof I owned the vehicle to a friend whom is taking time out of his business to help me. Under Florida law he has no right to keep me, my lawyer, anyone on my behalf (since I can't move) or the insurance adjuster to not look at my vehicle. If I was conscious in some form I would have had it sent to Jim's auto body shop! Hands down! He spoke over me, would not let me tell him FHP had fixed the paperwork and the paralegal from my attorney's office had sent him everything and he had prior knowledge of my situation and already dealt with my friend he denied access to on Monday the 9th of August. I'm now at the 12th and he's still denying access with correct information. I went in there kind of desperate and nervous because I have never had to work with a body shop before. Anthony helped me out a lot and seemed to actually care about my situation and was willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was done on time (dropped off Wednesday around 3pm and picked up Friday before noon). Well people. You all must have hit this place on a good day. My daughter car was in a accident. Front damage. Didnt care how long they took. The paint job is horrible. They spray dust in the paint. Color is so different that i can't believe they would let it out the door. Pin stripes are a whole different color that was on it. Should have taken it to kia were it was bought. So. Im the dumb ass. I literally found Florida Body Shop by accident. Was rear ended on Ulmerton while stopped at a light. FHP had my car towed to Florida Body. Learned later they have had a contract with FHP for 30 years. When I showed up at the shop I meet with Anthony who helped me through the entire insurance claim process. Within an hour he had contacted the at fault driver's insurance company and arranged for their adjuster inspect the vehicle to write up am estimate. By taking this approach I avoided dealing with my own insurance company and avoided any deductible. The repair was begun as soon as approval was received from the at fault driver's insurance.
