We've had excellent service from the Collegeville location several times in the past, but Steve,…read morethe manager, just permanently lost our business. We had an appointment for repair work on Jan 12, but when I called to confirm that on the 7th, I was told they did not have the parts yet and it would take 2 weeks to get them. So we rescheduled for drop off on Jan 23, with work beginning on Jan 26. I confirmed the second appointment with Zack on the phone 2 days beforehand. When I arrived at the shop this morning, Steve said they didn't have the parts and didn't understand why I was there. He complained about the State Farm estimate calling for after market parts and not paying for new parts. He has had the insurance estimate for 2 months, and this was a known issue. No one ever called me for a discussion of what I was willing to pay for out of pocket or whether new vs used parts were a deal breaker for me. Classic Coachworks just let the problem fester and then Steve had a temper tantrum when I showed up for a scheduled and confirmed appointment. I warned him that he was about to lose a customer of many, many years, and he sent me away. A little bit of communication goes a long way, and this is a lesson that Steve desperately needs!

Well, I was hassled by the son, Blaze, and not far behind was his mother, Lisa. The paint finish has some rough places I asked them to look at, and they said the work is good and just take it home and sleep on it. If your still not happy with the work, maybe we will take another look at it. Well, this is not how a business should treat customers!,,,,! Terrible behavior, more suited for misbehaved children. So, I slept on it, went back, and was told I must not be seeing clearly since they could not see what I was asking them to look at. Needless to say, a small nightmare which I will wake from now that unknown not to return here!!! Good riddance.

The repair work itself was completed well; however, my overall experience with this Caliber…read moreCollision location was poorly managed from start to finish. My initial estimate appointment on Martin Luther King Jr. Day was not on record when I arrived. After a wait, I was eventually accommodated. I proceeded (which was a mistake) because of Caliber's reputation, though this should have indicated deeper organizational issues. Upon vehicle pickup, my key fob was no longer functioning properly. My initial assumption was a battery issue -- not fault by Caliber -- and I replaced it myself when I arrived home. The lock and unlock functions still do not work, despite the key functioning normally when the vehicle was dropped off four days earlier. When I contacted the location, there was no urgency or clear path to resolution. I was instructed to come in after hours so they can take a look at it and call ahead to confirm they would still be in office. I called as instructed, but no one answered and the voicemail was full. The following day, I was told my call was "expected," yet no one attempted to return my call or confirm availability. Notably, the location had no issue answering after hours and calling me when it was time to pick up my vehicle just the day prior and collect payment. I was ultimately advised that they "did not touch the key, just the bumper." I reviewed the signed agreement, which states Caliber is not responsible for damage to the vehicle or personal property left in the vehicle. My key fob was in Caliber's possession during repairs, not left inside the vehicle, and was fully functional at drop-off. I also asked whether cameras near the drop-off area could confirm I locked my car using my key; that question went unanswered. As someone with a business degree and background and experience in management and service-based industries, I found the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through concerning. What began as a $1,600-$1,700 repair has now resulted in nearly $2,000 in expenses within a single week. While the repair quality met expectations, the customer experience, communication, and issue handling at this location did not.
