I was very lucky to find Miracle Auto Body; I was in Lakewood and unfortunately I hit a curb with…read morethe lower front of my Honda Fit. The radiator was leaking and Miracle Auto Body was recommended by the Conrad's across the street from them when they could not do anything for the car. The car ended up needing a lot of work to replace the front end and the radiator. Miracle can be hard to find since it is a little shop tucked in behind other buildings on Detroit and the drive is off of Lakewood Ave. Just a little old school shop that has a small lot, but they do great work. Jim did a great job working with the claims rep for Progressive and coordinating the repair. Since it is a small shop they may not always answer the phone when you call, but they always got back to me with updates, pricing and where the process was. They were much better at keeping me apprised then Progressive was. While the car was in for the major repairs I also had them fix a rust spot and they priced out some other repairs; they were good about helping me to have the most important repairs done. With my schedule picking the car could have been challenging, but Miracle made it easy, they met me first thing in the morning with my car at the Lakewood Enterprise location and I drove back to the shop to finish the paperwork. The car looks incredible, the repairs are really well done. In addition they did a great job of cleaning up the interior of the car which was a really nice bonus. It is like I got a new car back from them. I would strongly recommend Miracle Auto Body as long as you can be a bit patient with the process of getting your car repaired. It is clear that they take pride in their work and it is great to support a local business.

I started to walk to the building, but I noticed 2 employees GETTING HIGH. Then I overheard some short guy, Cody, Curtis, idk? while I was sitting in my car, he was downright nasty to his employees/co-workers. Yelling and cussing at them. I don't know how that short guy has any respect from people in his life or a company that allows employees to be treated as trash, but hey they can get high together, so I guess how that works.

I've recently started experiencing gear slippage and sluggish acceleration in my 2020 Ford Transit…read moreConnect. After researching the issue, I found countless reports from other owners describing transmission failures occurring between 60,000 and 100,000 miles on this model. That sounds like it should considered a recall. I reached out to my local Ford dealership to ask about financial assistance through Ford's "Goodwill Assistance" program. My vehicle meets the program's general eligibility criteria--it's under 100,000 miles and less than seven years old. However, I was quoted $9,492.50 for the repair. Without any financial assistance, a repair of that cost is simply out of reach for many people with a median income. At just 94,000 miles and six years old, I never expected to be without a working vehicle due to a major transmission failure. It's incredibly disappointing, especially after learning how many other owners have experienced similar problems. Because of this experience, I've made the decision that my next vehicle will not be a Ford. That decision isn't one I make lightly. I grew up in a Ford family. I've owned and driven Ford vehicles my entire life because I trusted the brand and believed in the quality of its products. I had genuine brand loyalty. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my confidence in Ford.
