I've taken my car to Caliber twice for collision repairs. In both incidents, my car was parked in Philly and someone hit it and ran. Caliber did such an amazing job fixing my beloved Altima, which looked perfect when it was done. The staff was courteous and professional, and they kept me updated on timing as the job progressed. In addition to those two larger jobs, they also helped we with a small repair to the rocker panel which was coming loose. The team repaired it, in 15 minutes and saved me what I thought would be a lot of time and expense. I can't say enough about Caliber Collision. We had an incident with our car and reached out to Caliber collision. They were prompt and fast. The receptionist was very clear in her communications. One thing I didn't like is that they estimate first and then take care on a different day. This is painful as you have to come twice to show tour car. It would be easy to get estimate and.l car drop-off on the same day. Also, communication regarding car pickup was not great. I was expected to pickup on Monday but until Friday received no communication. I called on Friday and was told that there light be delays, but on Monday they called me asking to pickup in 2 hours. That was inconvenient. Other than that, the work was done and car looked and drove good. My car was not washed so came a bit dirty, I would recommend that they wash the car. They lied to my face and wasted my time. Claimed my insurance denied part of my repair. But in fact they told my insurance company that part of my repair was not part of my accident. It was. My insurance company said they would have covered it but went on Calibers recommendation. Had Caliber just been honest with me I could have had arranged to have the rest of the repairs scheduled and done. Now I have to try and find a place to fix my car before I can leave for the Holiday. I knew something was wrong with my Nissan Maxima when I heard the sound of the wind when I drove on the highway. One day I found the problem when I inspected my car. My passenger 'A' pillar was either stolen or it fell off from the windshield. Admittingly, I did not know who to go to. I researched the Nissan dealerships around the area, Rocco's Collision, and Caliber Collision. The only company that contacted me back was Caliber Collision. The other places did not contact me about my inquiry at all. Caliber Collision's site was easy to navigate. The convenient feature they had on their site was their free online estimate tool. It was easy to use. I took photos with my phone and wrote comments pertinent to issue in the online estimate. I received a text the next day that my estimate was ready to view online. I viewed the estimate and liked the price. Megan was the person that assisted me with scheduling the final appraisal and repair. She was very nice on the phone and got me in the following week. I met with Bree during the final appraisal and dropped off my car. It took them ONE day to receive the part and to install it on my car. I was also happy that I did not have to drive my Kia Forte rental anymore. (No offense to Kia Forte owners.) Megan and Bree's customer service was phenomenal. Thank you so much for making my experience a good one. They also washed my car after the install. Oh btw, thank you for vacuuming my car interior!! So the beginning of last week wasn't a very good one. Monday morning I went out to get my car to go to work and I found a dumpster inside of it. I feel like you're probably asking what in the world does that mean? I will be attaching photos. There was literally a dumpster inside my car. It was one of those ungodly windy nights that we've had recently. The wind must've blown the dumpster so hard it creased my door inside and out. It also smashed out the back window. I had some trouble getting it out of my car so that I could move the car. So I called Geico(which I recently learned used to be a government employee insurance program) and put in my claim. They gave me their list of approved shops and caliber was one of them. There was actually one shop that could've taken a day earlier but having passed this place often I wanted to check it out. It looks more like a sports complex than a garage. So I got there early as is my usual, even then there was no wait and I was helped immediately. After I was given all the ins and outs of the insurance by the Geico person who I guess is on staff there, we did a walk around. After he and I were finished I moved on to the enterprise guy who also appeared to just be there ready to wait on me. I'm not sure if it always works this way but everything was ready for me and I think I moved through the place and was in my rental in 30 to 40 minutes. I had even taken a half-day off of work because I figured nothing would go smoothly. I'm pretty sure it's harder to just rent a car. I signed up for text updates and never had to ask a person what was going on with my car. He texted me every time they started a new part of the process. They texted me when it was finished I was able to drop it off and return my rental on site. It is extremely convenient to have everything in one location. So the entire door need to be replaced it went in on Thursday and I got it back on Tuesday. Not only have they replaced the door, they had fully detailed and cleaned the outside of the car. It's a few days later now and it still smells like a new car inside. All the scratches around the door that they cleaned up repainted and blended are perfect. So after all that I was very content and happy with the process. I probably would not have left a review if it weren't for what happened next... Being the super forgetful person that I am I had left my brand new keep cup that my wife got me for Valentine's Day on the counter when dropping off my rental. Now this was not cool because this gift was awesome and I haven't even had it that long! It took me a little while to figure out where the missed placed item must be. When I figured it out I gave them a ring and they said they would set it aside for me. When I showed up to my surprise I found they had even washed it for me! Now if that's not service! I thought they were super nice to begin with but now we were all laughing and joking like friends! It reminded me of a sitcom! The mechanic, front desk ladies, Geico guy all hamming it up. In conclusion if you have the choice, choose caliber. Fantastic people to deal with. * Funny thing is another customer had left their cup the same day. read more

TLDR: I had a TERRIBLE experience with this place. They knew they couldn't fix a Hybrid, but yet didn't disclose this fact and took my car in. Then, they kidnapped my car, asking me to PAY to get it "reassembled", (AKA putting the bummer on), so I could take it to another place ..... Here is the long story. I have a Toyota Prius Hybrid. I rear ended a car in front of me during the blizzard. The damage on the car was in the front (where the hybrid inverter is). After a week of radio silence from them, I called and I was told they don't work on hybrids. Apparently, they can't change the hybrid inverter. They DIDN'T DISCLOSE THIS when I dropped my car off and it was apparent that there was internal damage. A reasonable, ethical person at least would have mentioned that if there were internal damage to the inverter that they couldn't fix it. Then, I go to pick up my car and it turns out that I have to PAY to get the car "assembled" which is just to put the bumper on. The car drove just fine after the crash so I said I'd drive it out without the bummer to the new car shop. Then they tell me I CANT LEAVE with MY CAR unless I PAY for the "reassembling". I had to leave and have my insurance pay for a tow truck. Why did they take my car if they don't work on Hybrids? Why didn't they disclose they don't work on hybrids? Dawn at the front is a great woman that helped me through the process. I also dealt with Luis Portillo who is hilarious and knowledgeable at what he does. During my car's time time in the shop, I was provided with frequent updated completion estimates. Each were estimated to be done sooner than the last!! I went to Caliber last week because someone had backed into my front bumper, creating a big dent but not otherwise damaging the bumper or its connection to my car. The Caliber staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. But if you drop your car at a body shop where your insurance company tell you to do and you go head and do it knowing they want the best for the customer. So I go head and leave my car with them, a week pass by they call me my car is done cool I go to pick it up and man when I saw was car smh it looked bad the body work wasn't done right on my rear driver side door the paint looked cloudy the front bumper paint job was darker half of the side of the front bumper smh. So I told them that don't look right mind you I detail and buff car ass my hobby. So I know how the paint and body work should be done. So I leave them the car the car stay there for extra 2 week so they call me so I go head and pick up the car the paint on front bumper looked right. The rear side door I couldn't look at it right cause I had to rush and pickup my kids from school. So 2 days later I took my car work, I'm looking at my car and see at my rear driver side door the paint job look wavy and that there still a dent on the door so I go head and call the insurance company and tell them what was wrong with the work that caliber did. So they tell me to take the car back to them for the insurance company and come look at the car so they saw the problem and fix it but now the paint look cloudy I told the manager the paint job look cloudy and it don't got no shine to it he come and say it dusty.. WHAT!!! Are you serious sir look and the fish eyes it got look and the cloudiness on the paint job it look like Macco fix my car mind you I had to pay them $1000 Of deductible for both my claim dm my car my door still look awful. I can't say enough about how helpful and wonderful the people in Glenside were this morning. The fuel cover door on my car had gotten bent at our last fill up and the fuel release was not working properly. I started the morning at the dealership where I had bought the car, and was told that they could not make the repair in the service department, but that I could instead buy a replacement part and then have a body shop paint and install a new fuel door for several hundred dollars. I called Caliber, and they said to bring the car right over for a look, which is what I did. The technician fixed the problem in about a minute, and refused to accept payment. These are scary times, and car problems are the last thing any of us needs. I am so grateful for the assist, and will be sure to recommend Caliber to anyone needing collision repairs. read more

Called a week ago and made an appointment for today to drop off vehicle. The lady told me 4:30 was fine and that she'll transfer over my enterprise rental when we get there. Showed up today and now she's claiming there was no appointment made or that they wouldn't of made an appointment for 4:30pm. She also stated that we might've talked to the wrong people about the appointment.. maybe the insurance company. Why would I ask an insurance company for an appointment?? Which I clearly have their phone number in my call log so there's no way I talked to someone else about dropping off the vehicle. Or maybe they just didn't want deal with minorities. Dawn, who seemed to be in charge of handling all the appointments and overseeing the front, was super helpful and extremely nice; she also took care of getting me a rental and scheduling them to pick me up at the repair shop. UPDATE: I'm really sad I have to write this update. About 6 months after caliber did the work on my car I had MAJOR engine troubles. When I took my car to the dealership they knew right away (without me telling them) that there had been a front end collision and that it had caused the issues that I was currently having. My intercooler was not bolted to anything! Basically, the dealer said that they made everything look good cosmetically but did a terrible job under the hood. So while I appreciated them taking my car on short notice, working quickly and trying to keep costs down for me they cut corners that caused me over $6000 of damage just a few months down the road. The customer service that I received from the receptionist was beyond terrible. I was on hold for 45 mins waiting and waiting I clicked over and called from my other line. The lady answered again sounding annoyed I asked if she forgot I was on hold she said no and to please hold not even giving me a chance to finish with my question. After a devastating accident, where I suffered a serious concussion and tendon damage, we had hoped that our encounter with this organization would go smoothly. When my husband picked up our car, he directly asked the manager if any additional money was owed. He stated "No you don't owe anything." Since that statement we have received threats to "ruin our credit" and calls and texts telling us they are turning us over to a collection agency!!!! I contacted my insurance company and they are sending a check, but can you imagine any other business telling a client that they were paid in full and then "change their mind" and act like it is the client's fault? This company has added to my stress at a time when I certainly do not need it. The owner should be responsible for what his manager relates to customers. He should find a better way to communicate with his customers and make employees more knowledgeable about protocols. BTW I never write negative reviews....this is a first for me.....I am the one who calls supervisors and praises good work and pleasant attitudes. Not the case for Company. Shame on you! read more
