After my car was rammed on I-35 I brought my car here to be repaired. I got a new bumper and a giant scratched buffed out of the tailgate of my 2016 Ford escape. I will say it now looks like it never even happened. I can't speak for the price as insurance paid for it but I can speak for the quality and service which are both very good. And you can't beat the free pop and snacks in the waiting room. I really wish more places did that. read more

Look elsewhere, this is a garbage company. My vehicle was taken in after a small collision because they were a preferred vendor through Travelers. They produced a quote and then sent paperwork over for authorization to repair AND POWER OF ATTORNEY. No one could explain why we needed to sign over POWER OF ATTORNEY, and they declined to repair the vehicle without it. Then, they started threatening to charge storage fees. I've been involved in the auto industry and have even spoke with other body shops, requesting POWER OF ATTORNEY is very bizarre and you should never have to provide that to a body shop. They could literally sell your car for parts or auction it off and you would have no recourse. Never give anyone power of attorney over a simple vehicle repair. If they were concerned about payment, there's always a mechanic's lein that can be placed on titles. If it's a totaled out or salvaged situation, then the insurance company may request power of attorney to process the title through that process, not the BODY SHOP. I would never use or recommend caliber collision for anything. If you're being told by insurance they are a "recommended vendor", request a different one. My truck was damaged in the front end and a good friend recommended Caliber Collision in Olathe. Best decision I've made in a long time! When I dropped it off I explained that I had to be back in Arizona before Christmas and Tim told me it should not be a problem. Then there was a 4 day delay caused by my insurance company ####! Jerry Flood was the amazing technician that did an awesome job on my truck ,and worked overtime to get it done so I could still get home before Christmas!!! Canceled my claim with progressive cause they offered me low money since I did the estimate online and pictures wouldn't do any justice so I took it in for an estimate so a progressive agent can see it in person and they decided to take parts off my car and couldn't be put back together so now I have to pay towing fees and a fee to them. There was no reason for them to even touch my car now I have no car!!!! read more

It may seem daunting to find a shop for repairs, but I'd doesn't have to be! This was my first experience with Caliber, and it was great. Caliber kept me up to date throughout the repairs. Our Town & Country Van was rear ended and in need of repair. We contacted our insurance company who referred us to Caliber Collision. We were also put in contact with the insurance company of the driver that hit us and all they wanted to do was send us a check based on photos we submitted to them. When we mentioned Caliber to them they told us it was not necessary to have the vehicle checked by Caliber that we could accept their check and have the vehicle repaired. Not the case.... I visited with Caliber and they carefully explained to me the issues I would have if I cashed the check. They explained that my photos would not show damage to the vehicle on the underside of the Bumper. It wasn't just the bumper that was damaged, it was also the gate door on the back that had also been hit and bent inward. Photos did not show it. Caliber went out of their way to ensure I knew what damage there was and they helped me work with the insurance company to not only get a rental vehicle which the insurance company didn't feel was necessary. Everyone I came in contact with at Caliber Collision were professional and respectful of the ordeal we had gone through. They make sure we were okay and offered their help to secure a rental vehicle if we did not have one lined up with. They inspected the vehicle and discovered hidden damage that my photos would not show and worked with the insurance company to get additional funds to repair the vehicle. In the end, the van was repaired 100%. And it was so clean when we received it back it was like having a new vehicle! We could not be happier with the work performed by Caliber Collision. If anyone ever needs collision work performed, Caliber Collision should be your one stop shop for your repairs. Wiring this so that others do not get affected by their bad service. Please do not go there at all they did a very bad job on the car and they do not warranty their work and push it on sublets. I had given the car after an accident and after i got it back it was sounding while turning when i went back they said its not the job they did and it was something else on other side. later found that the job they did was not right they had bent the ears of the new parts that caused the noise had to spend money outside to get it fixed. read more
